Miss Your Hugs
Chapter 71

“Are you native Indonesian?” shamila asked when she was on the balcony. He opened the conversation first, seeing Erwin just sitting still without starting the conversation.

“Iya,” says Erwin.

Erwin looked silent and very cold.

“I was born in New Delhi. When I was one year old, we moved to Indonesia until now. I even went to college in Jakarta, but once in a while we went to New Delhi because the parents' families were all there.”

Shamila spoke at length, Erwin's response was just a smile once in a while he nodded. Making Shamila gulp rough, the man she met right now was a very cold man, she thought.

“I'll get you some water. Do you want?” shamila asked, as continuing to speak made her throat dry.

“Iya, can.”

Making Shamila smile, seeing Erwin nod in acceptance of his offer to get drinking water.

“Wait a minute,” he said moving from his seat out of the balcony.

Erwin let out a heavy sigh, he really disliked this.

Shamila went down the stairs, and looked for where the kitchen was. After finding her kitchen, Shamila saw Dion sitting alone in a chair holding a glass.

“Hai,” greet Shamila.

To Dion's surprise, he turned to his side.

“Ha—hai Miss, you surprised me,” said Dion smiling.

“Sorry, if I surprise you. I just want to take water, my throat is very dry.”

“Wait a minute Miss, I'll get it for you,” said Dion.

Shamila nodded in agreement. Dion got up from his seat, poured ice water into the glass, without him noticing Shamila kept looking at his back with a smile.

“He is very friendly and also good. Very different from the man I was with on the balcony!” shamila said in her heart.

“Halo Miss,” call Dion while waving her hand in front of Shamila's face.

“Hah! Oh sorry, I daydream.”

Shamila took the glass in Dion's hand.

“What do you do in your own kitchen?” shamila asked after sipping water on the glass that Dion had given her earlier.

“I'm just like you, thirsty. So, I went to the kitchen,” said Dion lying.

“Wah happened once,” says Shamila enthusiastically.

Nadia had just returned from the living room, to help her mother deliver snacks for guests. However, he was so upset to see Dion and Shamila who were so familiar, laughing together.

“Why is this woman here?! Wasn't she with brother Erwin on the balcony!” muttered Nadia with a face so upset.

“Ekhem ! Ekhem ! what are you guys doing?” nadia asked directly sitting next to Dion.

“Hai. I don't know your name sweet sister yet, I'm Shamila.”

He extended his hand to Nadia. However, Nadia seemed reluctant to welcome Shamila's hand. Seeing Nadia who did not reply to him, Dion nudged Nadia's leg using his foot. At once Nadia turned to Dion, she gave the code with her eyes to welcome Shamila's hand that had been waiting for her.

With a sullen face, Nadia was forced to return the hand of the woman who was of Indian blood.

“Nadia,” say with a forced smile.

“Your name is very sweet beautiful sister, like her man.”

They let go of each other's hands.

“I'll be back to the balcony,” says Shamila.

Nadia smiled quickly.

“Iya go. Brother Erwin must be waiting for you,” ketus Nadia.

Making Dion shake his head, seeing Nadia's behavior that he thought was not as usual.

“Iya. Oh yeah I almost forgot.”

Shamila patted her eel because she forgot something.

“What's up?” tanya Dion sees Shamila as forgetting something.

“Can I ask for water again? The man who was with me on the balcony asked me for water, to take to the balcony,” Shamila told Dion.

“Iya. Somehow I can forget his name,” said Shamila Cengengesan.

“I'll drop off ginger tea and a snack for you guys. Do you like ginger tea?”

Shamila nodded quickly.

“Iya. I really like ginger tea, thank you Dion,” he said enthusiastically.

“Iya,” says Dion.

Shamila says goodbye to meet Erwin on the balcony. Dion saw Shamila's back walking away, he smiled. Without realizing it Nadia put on a pouting face.

“Shamila very pretty huh?” dion purposely praised Shamila.

“Abiasa!” ketus Nadia's.

“Why is your face pouting so?” dion asked while preparing ginger tea.

“No.”

Nadia frowned in surprise, seeing Dion making tea.

“Why does my sister make tea? Many household assistants in this house.”

Dion breathed.

“I just reduce their load. This part is not a hard job, I have used to make tea at home,” said Dion relaxed.

“Oh,” say brief Nadia.

Dion was focusing on pouring tea water into the glass, occasionally he glanced at Nadia who had been staring at him.

“What do you see? Don't you have a job? Besides looking at me,” said Dion was still busy with his activities.

“Who looks at sister?! Pede once!” chirps Nadia.

“Masa? Means who saw me since then, kuntilanak!” mumbling Dion.

“So big brother!”

When Dion was about to leave, with a tray containing ginger tea with a snack in his hand. However, it was stopped by Nadia by holding Dion's shoulder.

“kak,” call Nadia.

“Keep your hands! If anyone sees you later, how? I don't want them to think badly of us!” snapped Dion.

Nadia flinched then reflexively took off her hand, for the first time she heard Dion snapping at her, before she always said softly to him.

“Sorry,” says Nadia.

Dion sighed, feeling guilty already snapping at Nadia.

“Sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. I'll drop this off,” said Dion passed away.

“I'm sorry Nadia, maybe like this is better,” he said in his heart.

Nadia looked at Dion's back which passed away, leaving him.

Arriving at the balcony, Dion placed a tray on the table. Saw Shamila smiling broadly at him.

“Thank you,” said Shamila widened her smile.

“Iya, equally.”

Dion approached Erwin and whispered something to him, making Erwin's face even more upset.

“Shut up, damn it!” erwin's growl made Dion run small while laughing.

Shamila smiled at the familiarity of the two men before her, even though she did not understand what they were talking about.
