I always wondered
what should I say when the time comes ...
I don't know why, as if
they have been close for a long time, but actually their friendship is still a lifetime
corn. Even someone might say that their friendship is new
they were formed, and their meeting was very short.
As if, I feel
it's like understanding yourself .. but I really don't
knowing you.
Haruhiro had thought
that Udin was a good person, approachable, and intelligent. She is
someone who can do anything and a capable leader.
Maybe he was a perfect guy. But Haruhiro is not
realizing his weakness, or perhaps because he keeps covering up his shortcomings.
If only their friendship had been a little longer, it might have been Haruhiro
I can see the other side of the guy.
He wants to know. Haruhiro
want to know his true personality. He wants to spend more
lots of time with him. If only it happened, Haruhiro would
get more experience with him. Maybe they'll be with each other
scolding, maybe they will be swept away in a fight, maybe they
will hate each other, or maybe their friendship will grow.
Maybe also, one day
later……. Alice will express her feelings to him. What else is it?
Haruhiro doesn't want to
believe in the fact that the feelings of the living human are incapable of achieving
those who are dead. He didn't want to believe all his words
now it means nothing. But the more he thought about it, the more
the tightness in his chest was getting heavier.
When it closes
in his eyes, he saw a picture of his friend in the past. That was
a void and everything vanished was devoured by merciless fire. All of them
vanished, nothing more than ashes and bones. The only visible picture
the real thing for Haruhiro at the moment was, Udin was lying under the shadow of a rock
headstone and illuminated by the light of the setting sun.
"We have become
red MooN member," Haruhiro said. On the tombstone where engraved the symbol
the crescent moon, he raised an emblem that resembled a silver coin.
Marco, Barto, Vina, and Alice
also, show their Red MooN Emblem to one of the Party members
which is now gone. Lusi stood at a distance away, while bowing
look and put his hands on his chest.
"actually
raising money doesn't have to be all this time" Haruhiro continued
tightening its grip on the emblem. “But we have some
additional affairs that we must complete first.”
Marco chided. “Actually,
I don't give a shit. You are the one who decided that.”
"Marco's a fool,"
vina said while holding tightly to her hand. “Why do you have to act coke
smart at times like this? It makes everyone hate you.”
“Because I did
clever. I'm a Dark Knight, and I don't care what people
another think.”
"Um, Vina," Alice
lightly pull Vina's robe. “Sok smart, not smart cok .
you don't have to call it that..”
"Really?"
Vina answered confusedly. “Vina always hear ‘cok smart’ ..”
"E-err ..." Barto
he interrupted while looking at Alice. “Shouldn't we continue ... this?”
Alice stepped towards
the tombstone, then crouched down. He reached into his pocket and took out
the emblem is shaped like a coin. He hesitated a little, then he
approaching the gravestone carved crescent moon, as if he was about to clench
the coin was on him.
"Wait, Alice, Alice,
it's not there," Haruhiro said quickly.
Alice turned around, with
face a little red. “M-sorry! Um, I'm confused, where is the best place
to put it down, but ..”
"Well, I mean, in
really different ...”
“Ah, B-right. Youre right.
M-sorry. Not only am I fat, but sometimes I am also clumsy. H-How about
here?” Alice placed the emblem on the ground, next to the tombstone.
"... Udin,"
alice said, “this is your contract emblem. We bought it using
the money you have left behind, and everything is in agreement to cover
the drawback, even Lusi also contributed. Please ... grab this.”
If Udin could
listen, maybe he's already laughing and saying, "You guys don't have to
do this, you know." Maybe also he will say, “This is just
it's a waste of money, and you better use it to buy armor or
weapon. Money is not used in my world now, it is your world
who needs it.” It might sound cool, as usual
he said before.
But, it doesn't matter
what he told them, they wouldn't listen.
Either way, we
can't even hear you now, Udin. If you want us to
listen to your words, then say something we can hear ...
Let us listen to your words again.
But Haruhiro knows that
that can't be happening. And if they die, what will happen to
them? Are they going to some sort of paradise? Will they be
meet Udin there? He doesn't know. There's no way he could know. If they
dead ... but Haruhiro doesn't want to die just because he wants to talk again
with Udin.
Difference between life
and death is vast and deep, as if separated by a canyon and a river
which flows fast. When the river is crossed, no matter what happens
after that, there was no way they could come back. It's a direct journey
without being able to turn around.
No more tears.
But Haruhiro really felt like lingering here, so he sat in
grass, then pulled one of the knees on his chest. Alice put down
his hands on the tombstone with trembling shoulders. Vina crouched down beside Alice,
embrace her, and gently caress the girl's head.
Marco looked into space
placing both hands on the hips. Barto took a deep breath and
slowly exhale. Susi let her hair be caressed by the wind, and she
staring at the distance.
"We really
it's been a good team" whispered Haruhiro to a friend
who would never come back to them again, he whispered while
he turned his eyes to the city. The bells that rang that night showed
six o'clock in the afternoon.
Things that float
a little above the horizon is half a red moon. Right too
... Why is the moon red?
"here"?
He turned towards
tower direction. The towering tower into space was as if looking into
down on them. That tower. There was something strange about him.
Haruhiro
it was as if he had forgotten something. They all came here and
join the Red MooN, but what happened before it all started?
Where did they come from, and what did they do before? She didn't
know. He doesn't remember. And it's not just Haruhiro that the same goes for
they're all.
Before they realize
that, they're here. What place is this? He only remembers the darkness.
The darkness? But he couldn't be sure. Where's this?
Tower. That tower. Sure
something is related to the tower. Butwhat? He doesn't know. Increasingly
he thought about it, then he would get even more confused. Every time he almost
remember, everything just vanished.
Pwp ... What is
we doing here? For what purpose?
Everything is filled with
doubtfulness. Even now, the answer seems not to come.
