However, many things are easier said than done.
Haruhiro gulped with reflex. He has worked hard with determination and driving
his team reached the venue, but only a surprise ended his fight.
"No way .." whispered to himself. He had never even imagined such a possibility of this happening. “They are more and more ..”
On the balcony of a two-story building, seen Goblin armoured being lazing. On the ground floor is a large Hobgoblin, which is still equipped with full armor and a helmet. Haruhiro had guessed that the two of them were there, but there were two more Goblins wandering around the building. They were both wearing helmets and armor, with shields on one hand, and spears on the other. There was even a short sword on their waist.
They must be the guards.
The armored goblins that were on the second floor were not just sitting leisurely. He sat on a nice chair, bending one of his legs. Where did he get that chair? Things like that didn't exist.
Was the armored Goblin planning to gather subordinates and expand its power? Haruhiro couldn't possibly know the answer unless he questioned the Goblins himself, but of course they couldn't communicate. Obviously, this is not a good sign.
Haruhiro went back to his friends and reported his findings.
“Jadi ... turned out not only two, but four tails. And that's just an estimate, but I think their number will continue to increase.”
"Four Goblin." Lusi closed his eyes, his eyebrows stiffened as he thought hard.
"Hm ..." Vina puffed her round cheeks, while Alice lowered her head while sighing.
Barto knocked on his Barbute helmet.
"What's wrong with you guys?" Marco scoffing. “Do not be afraid of it. Let their numbers be many, what can be done. Stop pretending, followers of Mr Marco!”
"Since when did we become pe…." Haruhiro begins to be lured in by Marco's stupidity, but soon realizes that it is futile. “Ah, already, forget.”
"Don't stop halfway," Marco again provoked. “Come! Why are you throwing a stamp like this, Haruhiro? We can't be rivals like this! There is no way an infantryman like you can rival the great Lord Marco!”
Haruhiro ignored him, then looked at Barto, Vina, Alice, and Luci in turn. “If we assume that my guess is correct, then more Goblins will appear, so we need to make a decision now. It doesn't have to be this time, we can wait a little longer…. But should we continue, or give up? I still don't want to give up. With our current abilities, I'm sure we can finish off the four of them.”
Luci stared stiffly at Haruhiro's eyes, and their gazes met each other. “What do you base say that?”
“Barto has much better defensive Equipment, and now he doesn't have to worry about protecting himself, and he also has the potential to attack better. Alice could always put a Goblin to sleep even before the fight, and with the Vina bow, their long-range attack combination was reliable. With the [SWAT] skill, even I can raise a Goblin directly. And we also have you, Lusi.”
“Hei! What about me?” Marco protest. “Why don't I count? HUH?!”
"You don't have to ..." Lusi turned his face and looked down. “You don't have to depend on me. I ... I'm just a Priest who let his partner die.”
“And we are a team that also let our Priest die. I'm sure we all don't want that to happen again. Never does. You are too, right? I trust you, Lusi.”
Lucia did not answer. He bit his lips, as if trying to keep going. Vina and Alice placed their hands on Lusi's shoulders.
"I'm going to say this now" said Marco, pushing his thumb against his chest. “I won't die even if I get killed. I'm a deathless man, so don't talk useless nonsense by worrying about me.”
Instantly Lusi looked up, his eyes narrowed so smallest, and the corners of his mouth trembled slightly. Is he really smiling?
Haruhiro could not say for sure, it was such a simple smile, but Haruhiro was eager to believe that the girl was actually smiling. The smile disappeared as quickly as it came, and Haruhiro regretted not seeing it for longer.
"I understand," said Lusi with a nod. “I won't let my best friend die again. I'll protect everyone, so rest assured me.”
"All right then." When Haruhiro reached out his right hand, as well as the others they piled up all of his palms, while shouting 'Fight! All or nothing!' and it was a ritual they used to work on before starting the fight.
Right after, Lusi, tilted his head and commented, "I always thought that this was a bit strange. Why are you saying 'Fight. All or nothing?'"
The others looked back at Lusi with smiles, and they started bracing themselves for the next fight. They discussed the plan again. There goes. Yes, this is the day they prepare and plan everything.
[maybe you forgot, but I remind you once again that their opponents this time were the armored Goblin and Hobgoblins that Haruhiro had faced when Udin was killed.]
As the number of enemies increased, then they needed to make some adjustments, but there was no need to make new plans starting from scratch. Their first priority was to break through the guards, then arrive at the armored Goblins and Hobgoblins. In terms of strength, the guards were just little flies.
If possible, they would fight back and finish off the two guards as quickly as possible, then refocus on the main target. They had all long discussed how to defeat the armored Goblins and Hobgoblins, and this was the culmination of all their discussions, and their planning.
They can do it. They will definitely win.
As usual, Haruhiro served as a guide, with Vina and Alice close behind him, while Barto, Marco, and Lusi followed from a distance. The first obstacle is to approach the target to enter the range of Alice's [PHANTOM SLEEP] skill, which is at a radius of no more than 65 feet. At a distance of about 120
the foot of the target, there was a wall that could be used to hide, but after that there was only a field and the old building itself.
However, after many simulations around the building and the wider area, they learned that if they took a certain path around the building, they would, they can approach up to a radius of 30 feet without being seen by the enemy. As they approached, they stopped immediately. Behind this pile of rubble
they will start an attack.
When Haruhiro signals, Vina prepares the bow and activates the [SHARP SIGHT] skill while Alice
tighten the grip on his wand and take a deep breath.
At last. The armored goblins and Hobgoblins were about to meet their demise today. They were the monsters that killed Udin. Haruhiro and the others did their best not to treat them as a show of impingement or revenge. They do that because hatred will only interfere with clear thinking. The two Goblins are not the center of the impingement of hatred, but just ordinary enemies. The strong enemy. A barrier they must overcome, and they have no other choice.
Haruhiro stuck his head out from behind the rubble, and….
His breath was stuck in his throat. Panicking, he quickly pulled his head back.
The armored goblin had been looking straight at him.
"We've been found out .." whispered.
But how? Somehow, did the armored Goblin sense their presence?
Perhaps they had been seen just by chance, perhaps the armored Goblin had unintentionally looked towards Haruhiro when she stuck her head out.
He doesn't know, but it doesn't matter. Haruhiro bet by once again sticking his head out quickly then pulling it again. The armored goblin clasped a crossbow in his hand, and the weapon he aimed directly at them.
"What should we do now?" Vina said as she lowered her bow.
Alice's face was already pale she was getting curled up in the wall baling.
Were Marco and the others who were in a somewhat distant position aware of their situation? Maybe not. They were hidden in the shadows on the perimeter walls of the building, and most likely they could not see this incident from their position.
What do we have to do? What do we have to do?
Going back? No, they can't do it. The armored goblin shouted something. Messaging. He must be delivering a message to Hobgoblins and the guards. Soon, they will attack. Retreat is no longer an option. They had to be involved in the fight, but the problem was that crossbow. If one of them was hit by his arrow shot, then they would only have fared the same as Udin.
"Leave it to Vina" Vina suddenly said.
"What ?!" Before Haruhiro could stop him, he had already aimed his bow and jumped out from behind the rubble. The armored goblin gave him a shot, but Vina rolled forward with incredible speed.
Rat hole. It was the movement of a hole rat that could glide at once survive at the same time. Did Vina mimic the movements of the hole rat to avoid the Goblin's shot? It seems like it is.
Haruhiro patted Alice on the shoulder. “Use your magic!”
"Well!" Alice emerges from the rubble, chanting a mantra while drawing letters with her wand.”Oom rail eckt chrome dashboard!”
The shadow Elemental Ball surged towards the armored Goblin. The hobgoblin downstairs had taken his seat, but he was still not budging. It was the two Goblins guards who started moving towards Haruhiro and the others. That's not a big deal. If they manage to put their driver to sleep, then ...
"Whoa!" Haruhiro.
The armored goblin had jumped from the second floor, heading towards the first floor. The shadow Elemental Ball only touched the empty air then vanished.
Their plan was fucked up, very messed up. It's critical. They have failed. Nah! We can still finish this. They can recover, and get other initiatives. Don't panic! Haruhiro pulled his dagger.
"Groan!" His shouting. “Alice, retreat to the position of Lusi!”
"Good!"
Marco and Barto came from behind the perimeter wall, Vina using a mouse-like movement of the hole again to avoid crossbow shots. The other goblin guards came towards Haruhiro.
What about the armored Goblins and Hobgoblins? God fucking. He had no time to confirm their position. The spear! The spear belonging to the Goblin guard slid right at him, Haruhiro simply deflected it by using his dagger.
The [SWAT] skill that is one of the Thief's battle techniques is not a hard attack. Instead, the skill made the opponent lose balance then fall to the ground, and it inflicted critical injuries. However, the Goblin guards were quite strong and no matter how many times Haruhiro used his skills on the Goblin guards, they kept coming at him. They were not random Goblins, and had above average abilities.
"I'll handle both of them!" Shouted Barto.
Barto intends to finish off the armored Goblin and Hobgoblin at the same time? Not likely. Thats impossible. But only Barto was able to kill one of the two Goblin. That's why their plan is to knock out the armored Goblins first. However, it was that plan that messed things up when it did not manage to execute properly.
Plan A has failed miserably. Wouldn't it be better if they backed off right now? But now it was too late, and there was no point in regretting it now.
"That'S……..!" Haruhiro used [SWAT] as he retreated, and continued to move backwards.
It seems that Marco and Vina are facing the other Goblin guards. Alice had chanted the [PHANTOM SLEEP] spell once again, but this time she aimed it at Hobgoblin instead of the armored Goblin. The magic hit Hobgoblin precisely, and the monster began to fall asleep. But before he actually fell asleep, the armored Goblin slapped Hobgoblin's butt using the palm of his sword, resulting in Hobgoblin
waking from his sleep.
He knows about our spell, Haruhiro thought. It was like, The armored Goblin could see all the cards Haruhiro was about to play.
"Vina!" Shouted Marco furiously. “We'll never kill him if you keep going around in circles like that! Stop it and help me deal with it, fool!”
"Shut up!" Shouts back. “Vina doesn't want to hear that from you!”
Vina tried to dodge using the movements of the hole rats again, but this time she was a bit slow. Or maybe the Goblin guards were used to seeing him make that move. Vina flinched as her enemy's spear was embedded on her shoulder. It seemed that the spear was piercing quite deeply.
“Sial! Vina, what the fuck!” Marco jumps, and attacks the Goblins with a diagonal streak. “[HATRED’S
CUT]!”
The goblin guards resisted the attack using his shield, while snorting. He shifted
his grip on the spear, jolted, and launched a counterattack with a thrust. He pushed, snatched, and pushed again. The goblin gave off some variation of the attack. After Marco deflected the flow of his opponent's attack, he braced his legs and darted forward. This is Marco's fighting style
relying on deadly counterattacks.
“[LEAP PROPELLOR]! Here!” Marco stop. “What?! Why isn't he chasing me?!”
"Because he already knows your trick!" Haruhiro snapped at him, while continuing to use the [SWAT] skill.
Meanwhile, Lusi chanted a prayer. “Oh light, under the auspices of Lord Luminous ... [HEAL]!”
Instantly, Vina was enveloped by a warm light. Unlike [CURE], [HEAL] did not require a Priest to bring their hands closer to the injury. This skill could be used to heal the injured person from a distance, and was more effective for wounds on any part of the body. [HEAL] is the mantra that Udin
not owned.
Vina's right hand was more dominant than her left, and her shoulder injury must have been so serious, that Luci decided to heal her right hand from a distance. In this way, Vina could rejoin the fight. But now Barto is in trouble.
Somehow, he managed to avoid Hobgoblin's baton swing, but he received punch after punch from the armored Goblin's sword. Although they were just guards, Haruhiro had to quickly finish them off in order to help Barto. Is there no way? Is there no other method?
Of course, Haruhiro could not just sit still and think. He was forced to do [SWAT] again and again to deflect the attacks from the Goblin guards. His breathing grew even more breathless and his hands were numb. He's so fucked up right now, and it'll all be over when he loses. He was so panicked and stuck in the situation
which is not profitable.
Don't surrender. Hang in. Must survive ... Although he convinced himself with such words, what should he do now?
"Himaru!" Someone has called his name. Not his full name, but only half of his full name. It was someone who had never called him that. That was Lucia. The voice belonged to Lusi.
He did not even stare at her, but the girl had actually called out his name. Haruhiro suspects that maybe Lusi wants to get himself close. Thus, while still using the [SWAT] skill, he gradually approached Susi and Alice. The goblin guards followed him.
When he thought that his position was close enough, he stopped.
When Lusi shouted "Replace with me!", Haruhiro jumped to the side as Lusi stepped up. He stopped the spear belonging to the Goblin guard by using his staff. “ [COUNTER STRIKE]!”
For a split second, it looked as if their weapons were bouncing off each other, but then Lusi received all the reflected momentum, then used the momentum to launch his wand on the Goblin guard's chest. The monster sighed sharply and retreated.
Now! Now or not forever. Knowing that Haruhiro was about to attack, Luci continued to emphasize the attack on the Goblin guard. The monster is now forced to defend, so all Lusi has to do is continue to attack him until the defense is broken, but it seems that Lusi is unable to. Haruhiro was now in a position behind the Goblin guards.
C'mon c'mon! Appear! He really hoped that the guiding line of colorless light would reappear. But the light did not come out. There's none. Even though the light did not appear, there was still hope.
Haruhiro slammed his dagger into the back of the Goblin guard with all his might, but since the Goblin had armor, his dagger did not penetrate deeply. The goblin howled, but Haruhiro immediately extended his arm to stick a dagger around the neck of the guard Goblin. He pulled his dagger out half, then stuck it again. Again and again, again and again, he stabbed the Goblin until the monster screamed and lashed out in wild motion.
He kept doing that until the Goblin ran out of steam, then collapsed.
“Thanks, Lusi!” Haruhiro sighed, and dumped the body of the immobile and lifeless Goblin guard onto the ground.
He looked around, then saw that Vina and Marco were still fighting to finish off the remaining guards. Barto snorted with all his might as he held the Hobgoblin club with his giant sword.
"Barto!" Haruhiro rushed towards him, but he didn't make it to the spot on time.
The armored goblin jumped at him, and instead of grabbing Barto's body, he hit Barto's head with his sword. Sparks flew when the sword clashed with the barbute helmet. No matter how hard the helmet was, no one could withstand the impact of such a powerful collision. Barto staggered, but he swung his sword wildly, forcing the two Goblins to retreat.
Barto's breath gasping. It seemed that he had no bleeding, but Haruhiro was sure that if he took off Barto's protective armor, then his body would definitely be covered in bruises. Haruhiro was convinced that Barto was a Party member who had the most difficult fight. But he still swung the sword
"I'm fine!" He shouted with a firm tone, while continuing to swing the sword. “This is nothing!”
Something seems to have changed for him.
But this is still bad. No matter what Barto says, there is no way he can face both alone. Should Haruhiro help? He was armed with a dagger. It won't be easy, even that is something impossible. It was impossible for him to break through the Goblin armor that hard, and it was impossible for him to inflict a fatal wound on Hobgoblin's body that big.
"Marco, go help Barto!" Haruhiro shouting. “I'll take your place!"
“Ha! The lead actor has finally arrived!” Marco quipped, and he stepped three times to get close to the armored Goblin. “[ANGER THRUST]!”
The Goblins fend off Marco's attacks easily, but at least, Marco has managed to distract the monster from Barto.
“Hei! What......!” then the Goblin rained down on Marci with successive attacks, so he was forced to defend without launching a single counterattack.
Hang in there, Marco and don't die ... With Marco's help, the pressure on Barto was lessened, but that did not change the fact that, if they did not immediately finish off the Goblin guards, then things would be even more dire.
The goblin guards still held the small shield tightly, and all of his vital points were protected by armor. Vina was not a Warrior, so it was not easy for Haruhiro to get behind his opponent. But when Haruhiro considered his options, the Goblin guards sped towards him and raised his spear to throw.
He's targeting me?! No way!
Haruhiro turned around to avoid him, but he wasn't fast enough. The spear grazed his ribs, then he slammed into the ground. A groan of pain shot out from Haruhiro's lips, and it made him want to curl up on the ground. When he put his hand on the wound, it felt wet because there was a seepage of blood. It hurt a lot, but it wasn't a serious injury.
"Himaru!" Lusi called his name with worry.
Haruhiro thinks that Lusi is worried about him. Although it was a silly thought, it was enough to make his heart feel happy.
"I'm fine!" He answered Lusi's call. “We have to finish off that guard Goblin!”
"I'm coming!" Alice said, rushing towards the Goblin guard.
Wait, what the hell is he doing?! haruhiro.
Apparently, Lusi was thinking the same thing. “What are you....!” He shouted, but his call broke in the middle of the road.
The goblin guard unsheathed the sword from the scabbard on his waist, and he noticed the approaching Alice while drawing elemental letters in the air.
"Oom rel eckt vel dashboard!" Exclaims.
The voash! A surging black ball was shot out from the end of his stick. But at that moment, Haruhiro realized something. Although the Elemental [SHADOW ECHO] was not as slow-moving as the [PHANTOM SLEEP] skill, the shot was not fast enough, so the opponent could still dodge it. With a slow attack, a Mage must approach so that the distance between him and his opponent is not too far away, so that the travel time of his attack becomes shorter.
In other words, Alice took the risk by approaching the Goblin guards to make sure her magic attack hit the target. And the girl's gambling seems to be paying off. The goblin guards made a sound like people were suffocating when the shadow Elemental struck right on his face, and his entire body began to tremble uncontrollably.
Vina stepped forward, with Kukri ready to slash his opponent. “[CROSS CUT]!”
[CROSS CUT] half piece. The attack stripped the shield on the left arm of the Goblin guards, and gave it a deep enough wound. Even after the Goblin guard recovered from the [SHADOW ECHO], he was unable to grasp his sword properly.
Vina did what they needed the most now and she pressed her opponent with an attack without stopping to catch her breath, she continued to launch attacks at the guard. This makes it easier for Haruhiro to get in behind the opponent. The line of light still did not appear, so he did the same as before.
The goblin guards wailed as Haruhiro slammed and whirled the dagger into his opponent's back. Haruhiro wrapped his other arm around the bottom of the monster's chin, then pulled his dagger out. He stabbed and dismembered his victims several times.
When his opponent stopped struggling, Haruhiro did not feel anything special. But this time, something stifling began to feel on his chest, and his stomach felt nauseous. Killing like this is a cruel, brutal deed. Despite the nausea, he did not stop.
Suppose I were in your position, maybe you would also kill me in this brutal way. Sorry, but it's the same.
When the second Goblin guard had fallen silent, Haruhiro felt extremely exhausted, and his injuries were aching. But now is not the time to complain about such things. At last. The time has come. He gathered strength in his stomach feathers and called out something to his comrades.
"A little more!" He shouted, with all the power he had. “I will prove to you that it is not useless that we have fought so far!”
But even after saying that, Haruhiro did not know exactly what the sentence meant. Who do they want to prove themselves to? After all, Udin was no longer with them. “To this extent?” Was their struggle really far away, or was it just something they wanted to believe in?
He hoped that he could say something cooler, and more inspirational. He wants to be someone who says cool and inspiring things. He didn't want it to end here. He also did not do this all for the sake of Crimson Moon, but he wanted that tomorrow there would still be hope. He wants to continue
surviving.
He doesn't want to die. At the very least, he did not want anyone to die.
Udin, aren't you like that too? You are also not satisfied with what you have achieved so far. You must also want to do more and get more. Haruhiro and the others, they were lucky to have survived to this extent.
We're not gonna die. We will live, and move forward. We will win tomorrow with our own hands.
For tomorrow's sake, they have to win here. They had to kill those two Goblins.
"Focus on that Hobgoblin!" Haruhiro shouted while running behind him.
Vina attacked from the side while Barto dealt two consecutive wild blows over the Goblin's head, snorting. Hobgoblin deflected the first attack with his seat, but the second strike tore his left shoulder. Although Barto's sword was unable to penetrate the armor, the force of the blow still left Hobgoblin in pain. The monster grasped the pitcher well, but now, its grip was weakening.
"Continue attacking!" haruhiro said, but when those words came out of his mouth, the Goblin armoured through Marco and approached Barto.
He set foot on the coveted horses, then slashed his sword with a diagonal swing. It is impossible .. thought Haruhiro. The movement was almost exactly like Barto's skill, which was [RAGE CLEAVE], but the Goblin did it. Barto restrained it with a giant sword, and locked the movement of his sword blade. The armored Goblin managed to continue its attack, but Barto's position was more
it is beneficial to give a counterattack.
With a swing of the sword, Barto turned the armored Goblin, and it was a skill attack [SPIRAL SLASH]. The armored goblin immediately leapt back, yet he instantly used that momentum to attack Marco behind him.
Marco, who was completely shocked, received the opponent's blow with his bucket helmet, so he staggered. With a faster movement than the dart, the armored Goblin pushed, and swung its sword up and down. He launched three consecutive attacks using his sword on Marco.
Marco screeching. He could do nothing but retreat. The barrage of attacks came so quickly, he could not even use [PROPEL LEAP]. It's critical. Marco was overwhelmed.
"Oom rel eckt vel dashboard!"
Alice was the one who saved him by using [SHADOW ECHO], a shadow Elemental ball hit the Goblin armoured on his shoulder. For a while the Goblin trembled uncontrollably, but it was enough for Marco to step back and take a breath.
“Sial! Nobody asked for your help!” Marco sprayed Alice furiously.
"Our ace card!" Haruhiro pressed his hand against the wound on his side.
He had difficulty ignoring the pain on his sides, and the panic would only cause difficulty to think clearly. He glanced at Alice and saw how pale the girl's face was. He must have run out of magic power. He used energy massively after releasing [PHANTOM SLEEP] twice at the start of the fight, and now he had also used [SHADOW ECHO]
twice. How much energy has he spent?
[PHANTOM SLEEP] was not an effective spell to use on enemies who were on full alert, and [SHADOW ECHO] did not appear to be effective enough to be a decisive factor in this fight. That means they only have one thing left. And this is their ace when pressed.
They have to solve everything now. Before the fight widened, they had to finish off the Hobgoblin first.
Haruhiro shouted, "Barto, use it!"
Barto snorted as a gesture that he understood what Haruhiro meant. He put up the horses
the incantation, and let out a howl that made the entire hair on Haruhiro's skin stand up. It was a Warrior skill [WAR CRY]. This skill can damage the fighting spirit of enemies who are careless. This skill does not surprise the opponent, but rather gives fear.
And that's what happened to the Hobgoblins. His entire body became stiff, as if paralyzed by fear. His five senses would soon recover, but even a moment's pause meant so much to Haruhiro and the others.
Vina nailed her Kukri hard on Hobgoblin's waist. "[SWEEPING SLASH]!"
Barto took a step back. “TERIMA ...” he started, then stepped forward, but this time he shot out all his weight while unleashing a terrifying attack. “...KASIIIIIIIHHHHHHH!”
With a deafening cracking sound, Barto's giant sword was embedded deep in Hobgoblin's shoulder. Maybe his collarbone's been destroyed. The monster screamed, groaned, sighed, then fell in a kneeling position. However, amazingly he was still trying to get up.
Haruhiro did not want to be careless. As long as his opponent was alive, he absolutely must not be careless.
"Receive this!" He shouted while giving a kick down. His legs hit hard on the back of Hobgoblin's head.
Hobgoblin was again staggered, then Barto landed punch by punch.
It's not simple, it's not easy. When the time comes, death comes so easily, so lightly, but taking a life is not easy.
It was a slow, horrible process, and indeed Haruhiro was one of the ones working on it. So he had no right to turn his eyes away, even if it was a brutal and bloody scene.
When Hobgoblin finally stopped moving, Barto fell down, and his armor seemed to be heaving as he breathed heavily. It must not only be the exhaustion that tormented his body maybe his entire body was also bruised.
"C-Hurry!" Shouted Marco. “Hurry help me!”
Haruhiro turned his head towards Marco and saw that he was having trouble keeping his balance, when he
fending off the attacks from the armored Goblins. Marco has already reached the limit, or may have already crossed it.
“Good work, Marco! You're amazing!” Haruhiro.
"Yoshaaahoo!" Marco agreed. “You just realized my greatness now?!”
Haruhiro and Vina took positions to the left and right of the armored Goblins, and they intended to attack with flanking formations. However the armored Goblin swung her sword at Marco once more, seemingly looking for a way to escape. He ran, ran, and kept running. Does he really intend to
run away?
No, it's not that. The direction she was heading was Alice's position.
Alice slightly gasped, her eyes widening as she brandished the staff before her. It was impossible ...it was impossible for Alice who was easily intimidated to be able to put up a fight. But he doesn't have to fight it.
"Retreat!" Lusi ruled over him while stepping in front of him.
He tilted his body while pointing his cane in a defensive position. It was the Priest [GUARD STANCE] defensive skill. The armored goblin swung a sword at him, and Luci seemed to dodge or resist the attack.
But he had no chance to do both. The armored goblin swung its sword low enough to hit the ground, but with a fairly violent swinging force, it continued to accelerate and gouged the ground beneath. Luci closed his eyes so as not to enter the ground splash.
It happened in a split second. In a split second, the armored Goblin jumped back and threw something with the use of her other hand. A knife. He threw a knife.
Susi staggered, holding her stomach with one hand. He's exposed. The knife was deeply embedded in his stomach.
"Well!" Haruhiro Shouts.
It is impossible ... There's no way this could happen. Udin. Lusi will die like Udin. Not likely. Without thinking, Haruhiro just attacked the Goblin. He doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know what he's doing. Before realizing what he was doing, he was suddenly at a great distance
pretty close to the Goblin.
The sword came right towards him from the upper left. The monster deliberately swung it diagonally so Haruhiro could not dodge to the side. What's he gonna do? Keep forward. Stop him before he can swing his sword even further.
Maybe I will die, he thought. But it didn't happen. Haruhiro tackled his enemy at full speed from the face. He's not dead yet. His face hit the head of the Goblin wearing a helmet, but Haruhiro did not care. He's tussling to the ground. Goblins have armor to say something, but it's not human language, so Haruhiro
it's impossible to understand.
His sword. He should focus on his weapon. Haruhiro held the Goblin's right arm with his left. The monster punched him right into the jaw using his free hand, not just once, but again and again. Haruhiro's head circled around, and it felt like his consciousness was about to vanish.
Don't faint! Don't faint! Don't faint, you're not a weakling! He kept saying that to himself.
Haruhiro flipped the grip on his dagger.
The armored goblins seemed to be shouting something that sounded like "Stop it! Stop that!"
Yeah, right .. It's just nice to beg me to stop it. Haruhiro said in his heart.
The goblin helmet covered almost the entirety of his head, except for the eye slit. That was the point that Haruhiro had targeted, he had intended to plunge his dagger there. But the Goblin grabbed Haruhiro's dagger with her free hand.
Their two hands held each other's daggers while trembling. A little more. But in a situation like this, the distance as close as anything will feel far away.
"Damn it! Damn, damn, damn! Why are you so strong!!??" Haruhiro cursed at him repeatedly.
"Mahiro!" The voice belonged to Barto, who was followed by footsteps.
Barto ran towards him. Without looking to be sure, Haruhiro jumped back from the armored Goblin. Barto shouted out his anger, and he raised the giant sword so high above his head, that his body bent backward. Then he swung his sword down with all his might like a mental spring after a long period of pressure.
There was a loud clashing sound to the point that Haruhiro's stomach was churning, and he could not stop thinking how powerful his friend was. The giant sword had slashed the head of the Goblin to his shoulder. Of course, the creature was no longer breathing.
"We ... did it?" Marco whispered weakly.
Vina dropped herself to the ground. “It looks like so..”.
"I don't believe this" said Alice.
Barto raised his sword again, and the cry of his victory echoed to the sky. But he also did not believe that they had finished this grueling fight, so he shouted out loud to vent the satisfaction.
"Sorry to interrupt," said Lusi as she raised her hand, “but can I heal myself now? It feels.... uh... hurts.”.
"Why are you apologizing?" Haruhiro grimaced as he pressed his hand against the wound. He tried his best not to suffer pain.
It might have been better if he had not touched the wound, but even when he relaxed his hand, the pain was still throbbing and continued to torment him. It was very difficult to stand up, so he ended up curled up on the ground.
"Lusi .." he started. “It doesn't have to be now anyway, but .. it's as painful as the torment of hell. Sorry, but can you cure me too?”
