chapter 5 Tragedy

Shinta experienced a deep inner shock, she was deeply ashamed, disappointed and saddened by it. She looked at her two sleeping children, stroked their innocent faces, kissed them one by one, and then turned herself down.

At midnight Shinta had a high fever, his face was sweating, but he felt cold until his lips trembled, his mouth was rumbling indistinctly.

"Mothers... I'm sorry Shinta... Don't leave Shinta.." said Shinta repeatedly

Shinta is saddened by the events that happened to her, she feels ashamed of her parents and her husband. After both of her parents died, her older brother continuously accused her of conspiring for their deaths. Shinta realizes that if her brother doesn't really blame her, it only takes a scapegoat to appease her heart. But even Shinta was down, she also experienced the same thing as her brother. Mother fell down stairs while on vacation in Bali and her father's heart disease relapsed after her mother's death. Holidays that should be filled with joy turned out to be wrapped in grief.

Aqila woke up to Shinta's chirp, she was surprised to see her mother's condition, she took warm water and then compressed her mother's forehead repeatedly. He picked up the phone lying next to the pillow, and then called Dr. Anwar

"Assalamualaikum uncle. Mother is sick, her body is hot" said Aqila

"Have compressed?" ask Anwar

"It is" Aqila replied

"wait a minute, uncle will be there" said Anwar

Doctor Anwar came in haste, he looked anxious and worried, he was greeted with cries and hugs from Aqila. Aqila spilled all her tears without any rest.

Shinta is still in her past, during the celebration of her daughter Gamal's birthday party which was only attended by the family, her father-in-law slapped Anggun in anger.

"What are you hiding from us!" Said the father-in-law while throwing a few pieces of paper.

Graceful Quiet for a while, then picked up and examined the papers.

"Sorry" said Anggun slowly

"I had to do it" Anggun said

"How about this video?" said father-in-law

Not only Graceful, everyone was surprised to see the Video. The video that tells Anggun has pushed Shinta's mother from the top of the stairs to death.

Hoopla ensues, the mother-in-law screams and beats Anggun, her best friend whose closeness exceeds that of a sibling has been killed horribly by the wife of her own child. Ardian prevented Brother who was about to stick his knife in Anggun's chest. The sound of gunfire silenced the commotion, the mother-in-law was made Sandra by Anggun and then thrown away when Anggun felt safe.

Gracefully leaving without feeling guilty, Gamal silenced his unrelenting son in tears as if he understood his mother had dumped him

Shinta's consciousness returned, she felt her head ache and heavy. Aqila was still compressing her, she was so glad her mother had regained consciousness, she rushed outside to tell Doctor Anwar

"Mother has come to her senses" said Aqila cheerfully.

Doctor Anwar rushed up to Shinta, he looked moved, his tears expanding.

"Shinta. "that's all it says, her lips are cuddly.

"Thank you, you've come to your senses" Doctor Anwar said.

Doctor Anwar did not understand why he should thank you. He turned his face to wipe his tears, there was shame tucked inside him. He prepared the porridge and the medicine he brought.

Aqila fed her mother slowly, occasionally cleaning up the scattered ones. He was so painstaking and patient in feeding it until the porridge was gone.

When the sun was high, Shinta felt her body was healthy. Either the drug or the treatment of his son that accelerates his recovery.
