Melissa For Davin

Melissa For Davin
Chapter 4 Sleeping Separately

Arriving in the city.

Davin drove his car straight to his apartment.

Davin got out of the car with his wife into the house.

"I'm going to take a break" Davin said as they reached his apartment.

Melissa was silent.

"My room is right over there." Davin pointed to a room not far from there.

"Where's the guest room, Mas?" ask Mellisa.

'Already expected, ' Davin's inner.

"Let's go in, I want to sleep," Davin pulled Mellisa's hand.

"Mas, I just want to rest in the guest room" said Mellisa trying to escape from Davin's grasp.

"There!" said Davin throwing Mellisa's hand a little rough.

Mellisa passed to the guest room that Davin pointed at.

Shortly after Mellisa came into the room, she heard the door buzz, it seemed like Davin did it.

Davin was completely inexhaustible with his wife.

He looked at the ceiling while lying on the bed.

His phone rang, apparently there was an incoming WA message from his mother.

"Have you guys arrived?" ask mama.

"Just arrived, Ma" replied Davin.

"Alhamdulillah Mama is relieved, you guys are fine there huh."

"Yes, Ma."

Davin put his phone back, he thought of the mother who was so hopeful.

Davin chuckled, who knew it would be like this.

While in Mellisa's room. His mother is certainly waiting for news.

Mellisa then took a cell phone and sent a message to her mother that she and her husband had arrived.

Day after day passed, they still slept alone.

For a week here, Mellisa spent a lot of time in the room, only occasionally going out to cook and eat, cleaning the house and washing clothes.

Where's Davin's husband?

I don't know, Mellisa herself doesn't really care, she only hears a few times late at night once her husband comes home and the next morning she's gone again.

"Why is this? I feel really lonely" Mellisa told herself.

"I want to go home to my mother" he said again, lying on the bed.

That's how Mellisa's lonely and bored, it makes no difference day and night for her.

However, Mellisa never realized that Davin always came to her room every night just to see the state of his wife is fine or not.

"What kind of marriage is this?" ask Davin to himself.

"I'll let Mellisa's attitude go forward first."

This morning as usual Davin left for the office, he left a little afternoon because the wake was bad luck.

The dining table is ready with dishes as usual Mellisa prepared.

Davin sat pensively looking at the food in front of him.

"My wife prepares food, but doesn't stand by me when I eat," she muttered, still looking at the table.

"Mell," call Davin.

"Mellisa," call Davin again rather loudly.

Melissa who was in the room did not reply.

"I know you heard it, Get out! or I break down the door" Davin threatened to get Mellisa straight out of the room to the dining table where her husband was waiting.

Melissa looked scared.

"You're scared."

Mellisa shook her head and lowered her head.

Davin breathed a rough breath.

"Come," said Davin.

Mellisa approached, she still lowered her head and her entire body trembled.

"I won't pounce on you, why tremble so?" ask Davin in a rather high tone.

Davin was about to hold Mellisa's hand, his wife immediately refused and went back into the room.

Davin chases after her but does not rush, because Mellisa immediately closes the door and locks it.

"Oh." Davin's upset.

"I'm going to the office, tonight please cook rendang, I want to eat it" said Davin leaving Mellisa.

After all Davin is a man, this is his home, she is his husband, she is the priest of his household.

Melissa felt guilty, but Davin could have done something more.

Take Mellisa back to her mother, for example.

Mellisa was scared again, she had already imagined that. His mother must have been very disappointed and sad.

Davin did his job with a sigh, occasionally he muttered to himself.

"She doesn't love me or fear me."

"Davin," call Jeny into Davin's room without knocking on the door.

"Official, never knock on the door, never greetings" said Davin without seeing Jeny who is now in front of him.

"Oh sorry, assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikum salutations."

Davin hasn't closed his laptop yet.

"How's your wife at home?" ask Jeny, one of Davin's friends at the office.

"Why suddenly ask?" ask Davin back while sipping coffee.

Jeny smiled.

"It's okay, you must be happy with your wife."

"Of course," Davin lied down and continued drinking.

"I'm so jealous of your wife, if only I were in her position."

Davin furrowed his brows.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't understand yet" said Jeny annoyed.

Davin, the best employee in the company who is notoriously handsome and friendly, everyone loves him.

Not infrequently secretly many coworkers who like and idolize him, including Jeny.

But who dares to say it especially they now know that now their idol has just got married.

"How about we have lunch together in the cafeteria?" ask Jeny to take Davin.

"Sorry, I ordered food, my work piled up, I want to eat here" Davin said.

Jeny is getting upset, she feels Davin's change since Davin got married.

Previously Jeny was always with Davin in teamwork and free time, although not only the two of them, there were also other coworkers.

"She's really keeping her eyes on how lucky Davin's wife is" Jeny said after passing from Davin's room.

Jeny returned to her room in annoyance, but in her room was Vina, her friend who was waiting for her.

"Where from?" ask Vina.

"From Davin's room" replied Jeny.

Vina saw the face of her friend pouting.

"Did you guys fight?" ask Vina again.

Jeny shakes.

"It's our team's file that we need to finish now" Vina pointed to the pile of papers on the table.

Jeny nodded.

It just feels now, Jeny is sorry. Why didn't he express his feelings.

Ah anyway not that she is a woman where it is possible to advance first, if Davin likes it, Davin must have said it, right?

"You why Jen?" asked Vina again because she saw her friend was not focused on doing his job.

Jeny looked at Vina.

"How do I forget Davin?"

Vina furrowed her brows.

"You like her?"

Jeny nodded.

Vina just laughed.

"Why laugh at me?" Jeny was upset.

"Since when? you know Davin just got married."

"I know, that's why I want to forget it."

"Find a girlfriend there" said Vina continued her work.

Jeny thought, it might be true too Vina said.

He then continued his work because the results had been awaited by his superiors.
