Chapter 11 Pain part 2

Melissa felt unwell, but she was relieved that her mother had accepted her husband back.

Melissa looked at her room which she had been staying in for a long time.

Mellisa tidied up her slightly messy bed, while thinking if there was any regret in her.

Being an ungodly wife, never serving a husband just because his heart has not loved the husband. Though it is a great sin if the husband asks while the wife is in good health but rejects it.

"How could there be anyone as good as Davin, of course he is my husband" said Mellisa smiling.

I heard the door open.

Mellisa was shocked to see her husband suddenly enter without knocking on the door first.

"Why? how shocked?" davin asked to see the look on his wife's face.

Mellisa smiled smirked.

"It's okay, Mom. I just...."

His heart suddenly thumped.

Davin approached Mellisa.

Melissa grew nervous as her husband got closer to her.

"Mas" called Mellisa looking nervous.

"What?" Davin smiled as he looked at his wife who was as frightened as ever when Davin wanted to touch her.

Melissa gulped.

"I...." Melissa was still nervous.

"Hm."

"I'm ready."

Davin smiled at Mellisa who was getting nervous, nervous this time not because of fear and rejection but more to resist embarrassment.

Davin raised her hand, making Mellisa startled and even more afraid to see her husband's hand that kept approaching her face.

Melissa closed her eyes. Holding his breath.

Mellisa re-opened her eyes when she realized Davin was touching her forehead.

"I think you're embarrassed because your face is red, it turns out your body is a bit hot" Davin said, retreating.

Melissa took a breath. Relieved.

This is the second time since marriage, Davin still remains as attentive as when Mellisa was sick at that time.

Davin took food and medicine for his wife.

"I'm sorry, Mom," said Mellisa, shedding tears.

"You often say sorry." Davin still fed his wife and wiped away her tears.

After she finished eating, Mellisa was about to take the medicine her husband had prepared for her.

"I can't take my medicine yet, Mom."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

Davin immediately pounded the medicine for his wife.

After Davin finished helping his wife take medicine.

Melissa was unceasingly staring at Davin.

"Why? just realized your husband's handsome."

Mellisa.

"It doesn't matter if you're bored or don't hear it. I want to go back to apologizing for all my mistakes with you, Mas."

Davin looked at his wife.

"I'm sorry too."

Davin approached his wife closer.

"From today we begin again. Together we build a family that is sadinah mawaddah warohmah."

Mellisa was closed when her husband kissed her on the forehead.

Davin then held Mellisa's face and stroked her.

"I'm proud of you, Mas. Our children will also be proud to have a very good father like you."

"Hm... child, when will we have children?" ask Davin flirting.

Mellisa looked down embarrassed, it seemed like she had said the wrong thing.

"Sleep, you'll have to get well soon, we'll be back in town." Davin helped the wife into bed.

Davin put his wife to sleep like a child, hugged her and occasionally rubbed her head.

Being treated like that even made Mellisa unable to sleep. She looked at her husband who had closed his eyes while continuing to rub his head.

"Why not sleep?" asked Davin to open his eyes.

"Don't keep going like that, I can't even sleep."

Davin chuckles.

He retreated some distance and made room for his wife to rest in peace and comfort.

After a long time, both of them fell asleep.

Next day.

"Call your sister and her husband Ta, have breakfast together," tell her youngest daughter.

Talita went to her sister's room, and she saw that the door was open.

"Sister Mell, Brother Davin," call Talita to the door.

Mellisa who heard her sister calling then came out of the room.

"What's up, Deck?" mellisa approached her sister.

"Let's have breakfast together, I've been waiting for you."

"Oh, yes, in a moment. You'll be the same brother Davin's next."

"OK."

Talita leaves her brother and heads to the dining table.

"Say brother in a minute, ma'am."

Meanwhile, Mellisa and Davin quickly finish their preparations to return to the city.

After they finished, they went straight to the dinner table which also made the mother wait.

"Let's have breakfast together" Mother asked.

Davin and Mellisa nodded happily.

After breakfast Davin permission to wind for a while.

While Mellisa with her mother and sister cleaned the dining area and kitchen.

"Imagical, Mom," said Mellisa looking at the mother with a smile.

"For what?"ask me to pretend I don't know.

"For everyone, of course, the permission and blessing of the mother as well".

"You're very lucky, your husband is always patiently waiting for you, how if he leaves you, we're poor Mell, I can't imagine your fate if-" said the mother, holding Mellisa's hand, but on the sidelines Davin suddenly appears between them.

"Mother" call Davin.

"What happened let it pass, once again I reiterate we family never look at social status, I sincerely love Mellisa, Mom." Davin approached her mother-in-law.

"I'm sorry Mom, you love each other but I misunderstood and wanted to separate you."

Davin nodded.

"Mell, are you okay?" asked the mother to look at Mellisa who looked fresh.

Mom blames herself for maybe Mellisa's sick because of it.

"I'm fine, ma'am," replied Mellisa still holding the mother's hand.

"We want to ask permission to go back to the city, ma'am" Davin said.

"Yes, come back to the city, you'll have to work too, I'll leave Mellisa to you Davin." Then she looked at the princess.

" Mom don't worry, I'll take good care of Mellisa" Davin said.

Davin and Mellisa then prepare and say goodbye to mother and Talita.

"Sister," call Talita.

Mellisa hugged her sister, it seems Talita is not satisfied with her brother.

"Titip mommy yes, take care of mom well," said Mellisa took off her embrace.

"Week often yes, don't be too busy, take time to play here." Talita glanced at the sister-in-law.

"Yes" said Davin.

On travel.

Davin kept glancing at his wife with a smile.

"What the hell, Mas."

Davin clasped Mellisa's hand and kissed her.

Melissa was about to pull her hand away, but Davin clasped her even tighter.

"Can I say I want to."

Mellisa furrowed her brows.

"But it's in the car, Mas."

"Why indeed?"

Mellisa was silent resigned, ah had gone where her mind was. What her husband will do next.

Davin laughs.

Melissa pinched her husband's arm with her other hand.

"Why groggy? just stay home."

Mellisa is upset and ashamed of being seduced by her husband.

Davin enjoys the look on his wife's face which is so cute and adorable.

"Darling," call Davin.

Mellisa did not answer and frowned.

Melissa was happy.

'I love you so much, Mom, ' her inner self.
