Chapter 29 The Years Passed

The years keep changing as time goes on. The twin daughters of Davin and Mellisa are also growing bigger.

Although only seven years old, but everyone who saw the twins will immediately be fascinated because of the beauty of their mother's face.

Both twin daughters are very proud of their parents, both are equally smart.

Despite their faces, it makes almost no difference. People who do not know them, surely can not guess which one is named Rosy and which one is named Jasmine. But the nature of the two is very different.

Rosy, the brother who is submissive but shy and timid and also spoiled by his mother.

While Jasmine is a bit naughty, full of confidence and courage, more happy with her grandmother or aunt.

The dining table became cramped due to the addition of personnel.

Mom, Davin, Mellisa, Rosy and Jasmine. They were ready for breakfast together.

"Rosy, Jasmine. Have you checked the book you brought yet? Let no one miss. And remember, you can't be naughty! Especially Jasmine, take care of your attitude, don't make troublemakers at school" Mellisa said as she picked up the rice and put it on their plate.

"Yes, Mother," answered both compact and courteous.

"Mother, they're already big, for sure they can take care of themselves. There's no need to worry too much like that" said Davin to calm his wife.

"Breakfast and milk should be spent! Do not snack carelessly at school, Mother had prepared a snack for you to take to school," said Mellisa ignored her husband.

"Yes, Mother," answered the two obediently.

Davin grinned himself, because his wife had ignored him.

I look happy to see this little family.

"Grandmother's granddaughter is smart, obedient to her mother." She thumbs up on her two grandchildren.

After breakfast, Davin's phone rang. There was a video call from his sister, Andika with his wife, Talita.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Brother Davin," greetings Andika and Talita together.

"Wa'alaikum salam" said Davin.

"What are you doing? Where are Rosy and Jasmine?" talita asked impatiently to see her two beautiful nieces.

The wanted ran over to their father.

"Hay Om Andika, hay Aunt Talita," said the twins.

"Hay baby, you're going to school?"

"Yes. Om and Auntie when to play here again, let's dong play," pinta Jasmine.

Sometimes he misses his aunt. Unlike Rosy who always stick to her mother so rarely misses anyone other than her mother.

"Yes. Later Om same Aunt play, but not now, Om you guys are busy," said Talita glanced at her husband.

"Om same Aunt sucks," said Jasmine scowled as she returned to her seat.

Andika and chuckle looking at her nephew that one.

"Rosy darling. Isn't today your first day of school? Don't be naughty and don't be afraid of school."

"Let's just relax, Auntie, I'm sure, not like that kid." Rosy raised her chin pointing towards her sister.

Jasmine who felt insinuated immediately threw her brother with fruit but dexterously the fruit was captured by the father.

"Jasmine, food is not good thrown around like that" said their mother.

"But Rosy said that I was naughty" Jasmine replied in self-defense.

"I didn't say it" said Rosy.

"You are naughty" said the father, showing the fruit in his hand.

Rosy who felt victorious immediately approached the bundle.

Mellisa smile. He intends to take over the video call with Talita. But Jasmine even misunderstood, she thought mother and father did not defend her.

Mellisa shook her head, as did Davin who was inexhaustible with this other daughter.

"Hey already, don't fuss anymore. Jasmine, Josie. You are Aunt's most beautiful niece that Auntie loves the most. So did your Father and Mother."

Jasmine quietly did not say, she glanced at the older brother who was clinging to her mother spoiled, then looked at her father who was a little far away.

Mellisa approaches Jasmine with Rosy trailing behind her.

"You are Mother's favorite princess. Nothing Mother differentiates. Jasmine, Mother is even proud of you. You can shower yourself, dress neatly and do your own chores" their mother said, making Jasmine smile.

Rosy who was attached to her mother was immediately released a little far from the mother. He felt insinuated, he was spoiled and everything was helped by the mother.

"From now on I will be alone too, just look, Father, Mother I will prove it."

Talita and Andika chuckle at their cute niece's behavior.

Especially the father and mother of twin daughters.

"Sister Mellisa," call Talita.

"Yes, Ta," said Mellisa, taking the phone from Jasmine's hand.

"Where's mom? I want to talk to Mom."

The mother who had not been seen in the video appeared then smiled to see Talita and her daughter-in-law.

"Is Mom okay, I'll visit maybe next week, Mom. I miss you so much."

"Yes, Ta. Especially Mother. Look here is very crowded, right? Play here quickly. You must be lonely because you're home alone."

Talita smiles. Indeed he felt lonely, because after marriage only a few days stay at his in-laws' house. Andika takes him to her house which is close to her workplace and they only live together.

"Honey, Daddy's daughters. Let's go, time to go" Davin took his two daughters with him as he got up from his chair.

Mellisa and mom drove them to the front.

Melissa gave kisses to her husband and their daughters.

Not to forget Rosy and Jasmine also greet the grandmother.

"Be careful" said Mellisa, waving her hand.

Davin was busy preparing the files for the meeting.

Anton wants to help, but Davin refuses.

After Davin had prepared the file, he handed it over to Anton and told him to represent him for a meeting.

"Are you sure, sir?" ask Anton to make sure.

"Yes, I'm going to school to pick up my daughters" Davin replied, leaving Anton.

Davin remembered today the first day his daughters left for primary school, he wanted his two daughters to be happy to see him pick her up.

Sure enough, Rosy and Jasmine are immediately happy after coming out of the school gate to find the father waiting for them to come home.

"Dad picked us up," delighted Rosy.

"It's not that Dad should be in Dad's office" Jasmine protests but remains happy that her father picked her up.

"Here's Rosy, Jasmine. Because it's your first day of school. I'll treat you to lunch."

"Yeah." Both look excited.

Davin smiled. He had previously told the house that they were going to have lunch outside.
