The Tarung Sejagat Tournament for the Final Round will be held two days later. The contestants were given a two-day break before facing a final round fight. The round was only held twice because the two previous contestants were killed so that the number of contestants was only four people, namely Havard, Do Quo, Sinhala and one more.
That night, they spent time with a couple. Selena is the most enthusiastic when it comes to things. Suddenly Nuzlan interrupted.
"I have important business, so I have to not come with you" Nuzlan said with a smile but Selena immediately issued an ******** disappointed that the man did not participate in the couple's wedding.
Havard. "I understand that this is in the interests of the state." he said and looked at Selena. "You better not bother your sister."
Selena turned to the man. "It's none of your business!" reply with ketus then melengos and come to Nagini.
"Nagini, you're coming, right?" ask Selena with a glass.
Nagini sighed. "I actually..."
"Follow with Selena.." ask Nuzlan. "Pity him, no one's accompanying."
"I'll accompany him." Havard.
"I don't like walking with you!" reply Selena with ketus. "There's just a fight just in the middle of the street..."
Havard just scratched his head to hear the woman's speech. Nuzlan smiled and shook his head.
"You can't say that, Selena.." said Nuzlan. "After all, he's your roommate. He also freed you from Maung Fortress..Why does a fight keep you away from him?"
Selena once again piqued. Finally Havard nodded and shrugged his shoulders. "Yes already. If he does not want to be accompanied, I also do not insist. The quarrel is just a misunderstanding of the meaning of a word.." having said so, Havard stepped out of the room.
Selena felt guilty for making the man leave, but her arrogance as a girl made her flinch in her place, not the slightest move following Havard even though her heart wanted to.
Do Quo smiled and asked Selena. "Yes be it. I have company with you. It is not good for a girl to walk alone in the streets at night." the proposal gives a good reason.
"All right, I'll come with you." replied Selena in the end. Do Quo looked at Nagini. "Miss won't come?"
Nagini smiled flatly. "I don't have to accompany him. You're already a good road friend." he subtly refused.
Do Quo shrugged then looked at Selena. "Come on.." take her and the two of them out of the room.
Nagini and Nuzlan stay in the lounge room. The military official looked at Nagini. "Now it's just the two of us.. Do you have no thoughts for a walk? Where the hell is that?" lure the man.
Nagini sighed. "Well, I'll go first to Bethania's Temple. It looks like it'll take a day and a half."
Nuzlan nodded and gave the woman a purse containing several tens of dinars. "Use it on the way. Who knows you need it..."
Nagini accepted the gift and nodded again. "Then, excuse me." she said and turned around to leave the room.
Nuzlan sighed then headed for her room and changed into clothes. He then stepped back into the lounge as if waiting for someone.
Shortly afterwards a knock was heard. Nuzlan got up from the sofa and stepped to the door and opened it. A servant was standing at the door.
"A man is coming to see you" said the waiter. "He's waiting in the lobby."
"Tell him to meet me in this room" Nuzlan said. The servant nodded then left the place.
Nuzlan walked back to the sofa and sat there. The door remains open. Not long into the room was a man dressed modestly. Nuzlan rose to greet the guest.
"Please sit.." she asked.
The guest bowed for a moment and sat down on a sofa some distance from where the military official was sitting.
"How's Sultan Yazid doing?" ask Nuzlan.
"He is in good condition, Mr. General." replied the guest. "He sent a message asking, has my master's investigation found a bright spot?"
"A little more." replied Nuzlan calmly. "Has the sketch of Lord Rotcshild's face I asked for in print by the ministry?"
The guest simultaneously reached into something in his clothing pocket then took out a large piece of paper and handed it to Nuzlan.
Nuzlan accepted the paper and opened the folds. A portrait of Lord Rotcshild in his official dress as an official in the government bureaucracy. Nuzlan noticed Lord Rotcshild's less obvious face as it was disguised in his veil. After all, the hood slightly blocked the eyes of the official.
Nuzlan sighed disappointed that the picture did not help his investigation much. Finally he looked at the guest.
"You go back to Tel-Qahira.say that I will be back soon after the Tarung Sejagat Tournament is over" the official said. "I am here working with the intelligence services of the city of Turan to observe the movements of the Jews here..."
The guest nodded then got up and bowed back towards Nuzlan. The man nodded and the guest turned to leave the room. After the guest died, Nuzlan let out a sigh of disappointment and then got up to step towards the door, then closed the door and walked towards the room.
...****...
Selena walks with Do Quo down the city streets. The age difference between them made the townspeople think the two were father and son. Do Quo patiently served various babbles the girl who commented on the lives of the citizens of Turan.
"Uncle, how did Uncle get to know Havard?" ask Selena suddenly.
Do Quo raised his eyebrows next door then smiled and looked up at the sky in the eastern horizon.
"Havard I found myself stranded on the street outside Mashed, when I left Beningrad" recalls Do Quo. "The city was burned down for a mysterious reason.but reportedly, the city was attacked by a raging monster..."
Selena was instantly struck by the sense of shame of imagining Havard's life as a child. Do Quo sighed. "I think he's the only survivor of the city's fire.I guessed it was seven years" he guessed. "He stood in confusion while holding a kopesh. It's probably his family's legacy weapon..."
Selena involuntarily sighed haru while closing her mouth. Both of them walked down the sidewalk.
"I then took her on an adventure together." recalls Do Quo. "In that three-year adventure, I taught at least Havard some sword techniques. After that we split up in Kurama. I left Havard to one of my acquaintances at the school-temple. I continued my journey. For seven years I have not heard the news. I still think he stays at those schools." Do Quo took a deep breath and smiled. "In fact, we met again when we entered this tournament.I did not expect, seven years did not meet in fact he was as big and brave as that..."
Selena felt both her names were hot. Do Quo looked at the girl. The man smiled. "How did you get to know him?"
Selena remembers. "Five years earlier, he had arrived in Las Mecca in one of my father's trade caravans" he said, staring at the lined houses. "Said one of the officers, they hired him as a caravan guard because on the way there were many robber barricades." Selena smiled again for a moment. "His work is erratic, odd, sometimes he works in the garden, sometimes also works as a laundry, sometimes patrolling..."
"Well..you know him very well, don't you?" do Quo's comments were half-tempting. "I, who spent three years traveling with him, didn't really know his person."
"We started being friendly when he stood up for me when some boys made fun of me. They were all beaten to the point of asking for forgiveness." Selena recalls again. For a moment his face turned upset. "But we always fight over trivial things..."
"But I saw it. I was watching you a lot." Do Quo said making Selena look at the man.
Do Quo nodded. "She cares about you a lot, Selena, your quarrel is one of the proofs of how close your relationship really is." she said. "And rest assured. I understand better..."
"According to Uncle like that?" selena Fishing.
Do Quo smiled and looked back at the streets and rows of houses and some residents who were milling about.
"I'm forty years old, son." said Do Quo, "I understand a little about human feelings.." The man looked at Selena. "A guy who always invites you to fight is actually just a way for you to notice him..."
Do Quo's steps stopped. Seen across the street, in a store where the window was open, someone sat back against the window. Do Quo was very familiar with the man's sitting style.
Selena stopped and looked at the man. "Uncle, why stop?" ask the girl. Do Quo smiled. It pointed to the shop.
"Continue?" ask Selena doesn't understand.
"Go there and accompany him." proposes Do Quo, "He is very lonely..."
"No, ah." declined Selena reluctantly.
"Why?" ask Do Quo.
"Later to say, I'm a cheap woman." Selena said with an annoyed face.
Do Quo smiled. "Not going to.." he said steadily. "If he dares to say that, just leave him alone..." The man then held onto Selena's shoulders. "Listen to me. It's time for you to show your attention..just naturally accompany him and prove that you are his best friend." said Do Quo encouragingly.
Selena still has doubts. The girl was only brave when Do Quo patted her peak softly a few times.
Selena crossed the street leaving Do Quo standing casually on the sidewalk of the road. He arrived in front of the shop and looked back at Do Quo.
Do Quo showed her two thumbs and smiled as Selena finally ventured into the store.
...*****...
Havard sat down with a slof of ginger beer and a plate of cashews. He was observing a ruby pendant wrapped in carved metal orihalcon. The jewelry was in demand by Selena but the girl denied her intention to own it for an unclear reason. He bought the thing and would hand it over as a surprise to Selena.
Havard subconsciously raised his face and turned towards the door. He was shocked when he saw Selena enter and slowly stepped closer to his seat.
Havard quickly hid the pendant and sat down to enjoy cashew nuts. Selena sat in front of Havard.
"Havard.." call Selena.
Havard stared curiously at Selena and then returned to enjoying cashews. He shoved the cashew-filled plate near Selena.
"Eat.." he asked and looked at a songstress who was singing a silent song on stage.
Selena took a cashew nut and ate it. The two did not talk, making Selena nervous and afraid to start a conversation.
"Tumben you found me." - Havard.
"Oh, uh, I'm walking with Uncle Do Quo" Selena replied awkwardly.
Havard nodded slowly and straightened his body. "What do you want to drink?" ask the man. "Don't order a beer? Not good for women..."
Eliminating awkwardness, Selena took the menu sheet and observed the contents. After that, he answered. "May I have a blueberry jam sandwich?"
Havard nodded and got up. "I'll order a moment." he said and went to the cashier.
Selena watched Havard who seemed to be having a long discussion with the cashier. The man is seen taking something out and handing it to the cashier. After that he turned back to the place where Selena was sitting.
"I ordered your menu" Havard said. "Add Sarsaparilla syrup..."
"Thank you.." Selena said nervously. The girl is still awkward.
Havard went back to enjoying the cashews and took a sip of the ginger beer and put the big glass back on the table.
"Havard.." call Selena.
Havard turned his head to look at the girl as he continued to chew cashew nuts.
"I.. I. a-I." said Selena stuttering.
"Why you?" ask Havard. "You're not usually like this."
Selena improved her way of sitting and then looked again at Havard. "I'm. I'm sorry for my attitude lately." she said.
Havard smiled faintly for a moment then cut his lips. "No need to think about it. You are not wrong with me..."
"Today, we've been fighting a lot." - Selena. "I feel like we're both getting further away." he said.
"Just your mind." - Havard replied.
Soon a large bread order filled with blueberry jam arrived. The waiter placed the menu in front of Selena with a tall glass of Sarsaparilla syrup.
"Thank you.." Selena said. The waiter nodded and turned around to leave the place.
Selena took a fork and knife on the plate and started slicing bread. He continued speaking.
"I want us back as we always have been." - Pinta Selena.
For a moment Havard raised his eyebrows next to him and nodded again. "If that's your wish." she said briefly.
"Havard.. speak.." pinta Selena. "So far, I was the only one talking."
"Who answered all your words?" hatch Havard developed his hands with a face of wonder.
"I mean.. say anything." ask Selena. "Tell me about your past..."
"That's the least exciting thing to tell.." - Havard.
Selena fell silent. Finally he relented and chose to slice the bread for him to eat. But the girl was astonished when the knife seemed to slice metal. Curiously he put down the knife and cut the bread with his fingers.
The girl was stunned and realized that a necklace seemed to be sandwiched between the meat of the bread. He pulled it and was even more shocked when he saw the pendant hanging in the necklace.
"Havard, this is right.." said Selena who can no longer speak.
"Yes.I bought it for you." - Havard. "I know you want it. I'm just wondering why you didn't buy it. That's why I bought it and I gave it to you..."
Suddenly Selena got up and immediately hugged Havard. For a moment the man was startled but then sat quietly again.
"Thank you. Thank you.." sedu Selena with haru.
"Let go of your arms." pinta Havard. "People are watching us." he said with a sigh.
Selena finally let go of her embrace. Havard smiled. "Do you want to put it?" bargained for.
Selena nodded and Havard stood up and put the locket on the girl's neck.
"Now, you're getting prettier with that necklace" Havard said.
Selena felt her heart blossom that night.[]
