The trip was a half-day trip. Towards dusk, the three arrived at the mouth of the cave.

"Well, this is the Basilisk Cave" said Nuzlan pointed to the cave's snout. "We're in now?"

Havard looked at the girl. "Where do you choose? We walk through this cave and riba across in the morning, or we take a short break at the risk of entering the cave in the dark. I'm not guaranteeing nocturnal animals won't find us here." he said.

Nuzlan had not stepped on the rocks, his feet slashed and the man fell into the river and was carried away by the current.

"Nuzlan!!!" havard exclaimed in shock and handed his bent sword to Selena while he himself plunged after Nuzlan who had been carried away by the current and tried to survive.

Selena herself managed to cross and chase Nuzlan through the river. Havard himself swam quickly after Nuzlan until he finally got the body of the man. Soon Havard dragged Nuzlan's body to the edge of the river and dumped it.

"Are you okay, man?" ask Havard in the middle of his irregular breathing again.
