Turan is a city located on the border of the Runehall peninsula with the borders of the Zhou kingdom. This city became a favorite stopover for every explorer and merchant who made a trade tour from Runehall to the Kingdom of Zhou or vice versa.
Turan is an autonomous city protected by a universal peace pact that was established a millennium ago during the middle kingdoms. Until now, no other kingdoms had annexed and claimed the city as part of its territory. It was as if Turan was a sovereign city-state under the leadership of an emir independent of the intervention and intimidation of other states in politics and defense. In addition, the city government of Turan provides free access across the economy so that Turan is also known as stovopolis.
"Aaah leganyaaaa." said Nuzlan happily when they arrived at the gates of Turan.
Piloted stands guard posts occupied by security and migration officers. The four men got out of their vehicles and stepped into the guard post.
Nuzlan handed over the important papers. The officer nodded then looked at Nagini.
"This woman is not on the list." said the migration officer, "According to the law..."
"He was the emissary of the Moull Kingdom who was our guide." Nuzlan replied lying. "We're going north from Moull Castle..."
The migration officer nodded. "It's actually against the law" the officer said. "But because the reason is you, then this rule I get..."
"Thank you.." said Nuzlan while saving the important letters again.
"And please make sure that there will be no chaos. Since in this city the Tarung Sejagat Tournament is held, then political security is strongly emphasized.." added the officer. "A little commotion was caused by your group, so we were forced to expel you from Turan..."
"We will not riot." said Nuzlan with a smile.
The officer nodded again and let Nuzlan and his entourage enter the city.
The four of them stepped in while Havard led Bukefals, Nagini and Nuzlan led his horse. Only Selena was left on the back of the sack and led by Havard.
"The city is small, but very crowded." commented Selena. "Even more crowded than Las Mecca..."
"Las Mecca is just crowded at certain times." Havard replied, "For example, the Hajj season..."
"Are you not hungry?" ask Nuzlan suddenly. "Let's find a classy restaurant." he asked.
"I know a restaurant that can accommodate us and these animals." said Nagini.
"Ah, it's not wrong if Nuzlan calls you a guide" Havard said, chuckling. "You can show us a good place to rest..."
Nagini did not comment on the man's words. He took Nuzlan across the crowded street by pedestrians who ploughed into the street.
The city of Turan does not allow traffic. That is why many people look to guide their vehicles, whether it is a mount animal or a motor vehicle. They can only use the vehicle while leaving the city of Turan. One block from the main street is a large, ten-storey parking building. The area reaches fifteen hectares, accommodating all kinds of vehicles. At the top is reserved for motorized vehicles on the first floor, serves as a stables for animals mounts.
They leave the vehicle to the manager of the parking building. Nuzlan paid for all that daycare rent. They then get out of there. Nuzlan seemed to stretch his body.
"In the middle of the city there is a good inn for us." said Nagini.
"Show me." said Nuzlan. "After we've had a little chat, I'll go to the city's emir to discuss something..."
"You don't want to participate in the Tarung Sejagat Tournament, Havard?" ask Selena suddenly.
"Ah, right.." Nuzlan said. "To prevent the suspicion of enemy spies, it would be nice if I faced myself to the emirate's office."
"Come on Havard, let's watch that tournament, or you'll take part in that fight" Selena asked.
Nagini nodded. "All right..each of us divides the task.." he said steadily.
They continued to walk down the city streets, towards the place shown by Nagini. Taking a trip splitting the pedestrian traffic that goes back and forth is indeed tiring. They arrived at a building.
"Harem Bundi.." muttered Havard reciting the name of the building. He looked at Nagini. "Is this the wrong place?"
Nagini looked at Havard. "Which one do you think we're looking for?"
"The name is.. ugly." Havard said later.
"Importantly, the service is not bad." Nuzlan said with a smile. "Brand names may be strange, but customers will want good service."
"Not that." said Havard. "But..."
"Here you go. Come on in.." take Nuzlan.
They enter the building and Nuzlan heads to the reception desk. "We want to check in.." said Nuzlan.
The receptionist nodded. "How many days?" ask the officer.
"Depends on how long we've been here." replied Nuzlan.
The attendant nodded again while typing on the counting machine. He asked again. "How many people? How many rooms?"
Nuzlan looked at his three best friends and replied. "Two rooms, two beds each."
"Alright.. the cost.." said the officer mentioned the lodging duty. Nuzlan nodded and took out his wallet. From the wallet he took out a card and handed it to the officer.
The officer swiped the card into the machine and moments later he made a digital money transfer.
"Thank you." said the officer gave Nuzlan two keys. "Goodly enjoy our service..."
Nuzlan nodded and smiled then looked at the key number of the room. He handed the other to Nagini. "You and Selena rest in that room.Havard and I will occupy this room." Nuzlan said showing her the key card. "Please keep your belongings and I'll wait for you at this inn's restaurant." he continued, handing over the keys to Havard and he himself stepped out of them.
Havard looked at the key while Nagini and Selena had moved from earlier to the room in question. Nuzlan was already at the restaurant and ordered her food.
Soon a grandfather came to the cashier's table. He asked, "Sir, how much rice is a packet of kebabs?"
the cashier mentioned the price. Nuzlan who was waiting for his friends then noticed the conversation between them. It seems that grandfather counted his money doubtfully.
"If this... can you, right?" asked the grandfather doubtfully. The cashier noticed the three pieces of silver that the grandfather had offered and smiled.
"It can be cake, but not Kebab Rice, but Biryani Rice." replied the cashier politely.
Grandpa looked disappointed but he broke down. With a bland smile, he spoke. "Please be like the rice?" the request with hope.
The cashier smiled again and nodded. "Wait a minute, will you?"
Nuzlan watched the grandfather come out. He soon heard the grandfather's conversation with his grandson through the window.
"Grandpa... We're shopping for Nasi Kebab today right?" ask the grandson.
"Gee, grandfather has no money yet.but we can eat again Nasi Biryani.." replied the Grandfather.
"Yaaa.kana Grandpa has promised to buy me Nasi Kebab.." protested the grandson complained. "Yesterday and here and there we only eat Biryani Rice only.... when do we eat Kebab Rice?!"
The conversation was still ongoing but Nuzlan had understood the reason for the embarrassment. The man got up and stepped towards the cashier.
"Sir, later if the grandfather comes again, just give Nasi Kebab three packs?" Nuzlan's Message.
The cashier was momentarily dumbstruck and finally nodded when he saw the firmness on the man's face. Nuzlan went out to meet the old man while calming his grandson down.
"Grandfather, that's grandpa in the Kebab Rice message, right?" asked Nuzlan made the grandfather shocked and stammered in confusion. The grandson looked at his grandfather and Nuzlan in turn.
"I-iya. but.." said the grandfather hesitantly.
"Meanwhile, the grandfather's money had fallen inside the wall." said Nuzlan, showing ten pieces of silver and giving them to the grandfather, who was getting confused.
"It seems that grandfather was in a hurry so it was not aware that the money fell.." said Nuzlan without giving the opportunity the grandfather denied. Nuzlan then looked at the grandson.
"Your grandfather actually wanted to tease you, but you were in a hurry to scold your grandfather." Nuzlan scolded as she stroked the boy's head. "Next time, don't force your grandfather to please you..."
Nuzlan then left the grandfather and entered the restaurant. While the grandfather can only thank and praise Nuzlan for keeping his honor in front of his grandson.[]
