Marrying my Maid

Marrying my Maid
Angry Wave

Kiran shook her head. He still remembers when Larasati cried watching the television. Back then, Bagas said his mother was crying because she saw his father with another woman.

"Dad hasn't died yet, I'm sure he must have forgotten about mom after she's been successful."

"Kiran listen to Mama! Please don't be like this, son!" Helena. A tearful roll began to wet his cheeks, as he looked at the angry gazes from both of Kiran's beads.

Kiran did not reply, her mouth as if it was locked. However, his eyes were so sharp towards the worn out photo in his hand . As hard as Kiran tried to do well, but still her heart could not lie. He was very angry when he saw his face.

"Anything bad he's still your father, Ran. Don't harbor hatred that will only make you suffer." Helena said.

Helena felt sad to see the look of anger from Kiran's face. In fact, usually his daughter-in-law never angry or cynical face like this.

"How could I not hate him, Ma? Because she's a mother who has to work hard for me and also my sister Bagas. Even Mother had hidden her illness and died," replied Kiran her breathing hunting along with a furious wave on her chest.

"Hey don't talk like that, Kiran! Your mother is gone because it was her destiny. Don't blame something you don't know why!" Helena continued this time her gaze was so serious. Because, he did not want Kiran to fall into the hole of hatred.

"But..." Kiran's words stopped. She was silent as Helena cupped her cheeks together. Kiran was stunned, she was astonished when she got a sharp look from Helena.

"You're a good woman, Ran. So don't turn yourself into evil just because of this, remember! No matter how much you hate it, nothing changes. Your mother and sister won't be back!"

Kiran was silent as she stared fixedly at Helena's face. His breathing began to stretch as well as his heart that had become calmer.

"M...Ma, I..."

"Mom knows what it's like to be in your position. Remember, Son! Hatred will not change anything. It is precisely because of hatred that your life will suffer."

Kiran let out a long breath, after hearing Helena's words. Although his heart was still ungodly, but he tried to obey the words of his father-in-law.

"M..Sorry, Ma. I didn't mean to.

"Don't apologize to Mom! You're not wrong."

Kiran nodded her head. Then she hugged Helena. Kiran closed her eyes. His heart slowly began to calm down as he felt a gentle swipe of Helena's hand on his back.

"Now don't cry anymore! Don't because of this you shed tears."

"Yes Ma,"

"Yes, it's back to your room now. Rest up! Let Mama be with Daddy who looks after Arka."

"Are you not tired? My mom just arrived. Better Mama and Dad take a break let me take care of Arka."

"It's okay - what. Darren said you're still in the process of recovery, so you have to rest a lot."

Kiran who was feeling tired finally nodded. She was so grateful that her in-laws were so kind and never demanded anything from her.

"Thank you very much, Mah. I am lucky to be a part of this family. Thank you also because Mom and Dad accepted me sincerely."

"Mama should thank you, Ran. Because of you, now Darren has changed. He no longer behaves like he used to."

Kiran smiled, after which she returned to tidying up some of the items in the box. Kiran let out a long breath, this time hoping not to meet her father.

After saying goodbye to Helena, Kiran headed to her own room. Kiran walked gontai towards her room. His strength seemed to be drained away after he cried a moment ago.

Arriving at Kiran's room sat on the edge of the bed. He exhaled a long breath and then placed his late mother's box on the nightstand.

"Mom, I miss you so much." murmured Kiran. His eyes warmed up and glazed again.

Kiran lowered her head, her shoulders trembling softly as her sobs returned. It felt like Kiran could not help but endure such a deep sadness in her heart. In fact, having heard the advice of Helena, he still could not control himself.

Chequek!

The sound of the door opening. Kiran who was still crying hurriedly wiped her tears. Kiran let out a slow breath and smiled and stared at the door.

"Well, how come you've come home, Mom? Is it still noon?" kiran said after she saw Darren enter the room.

"So your mother said you were crying. What's up, hm?" ask Darren without answering Helena's question first. Darren looked worried, especially after he saw Kiran's puffy eyes.

"A...I'm not crying, Mom. I just..." Kiran snapped her words. He was reflexively silent as Darren stared at him intensely and fully inquiringly.

"Mama can't lie, Ran. After all just by looking at your face, I also know that you just cried" Darren said. He loosened his tie and sat down beside Kiran.

Kiran said nothing. He looked down and avoided Darren's gaze.

"Let's look here!" Darren said as he held onto Kiran's shoulders. Darren smiled sweetly. He raised Kiran's chin to be more free to look at her beautiful face.

"Mas, I'm going to the bathroom first. From this morning I haven't had a bath" said Kiran, who tried to avoid Darren.

"I know, you just want to avoid me, right?" Darren smiled gently. Afterwards, he kissed both of Kiran's cheeks.

"M...Excuse me. I didn't mean to avoid you, did I? I just..."

"It's okay, I get it." Darren said cutting Kiran's words.

Kiran smiled faintly and then nodded. He also touched Darren's hand which was cupping his cheeks. Kiran's heart warms, she is happy because she is surrounded by people who love her so much.

"If there's anything - just say it! Never hold it alone! If you don't want to tell me, you can tell Mama. I was hurt when you were silent - silently crying behind me, Ran." Darren said as he pulled Kiran into his arms.

Kiran's lips twitched withstanding the cry that was ready to slide. Kiran returned Darren's hug. And rested his head.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you, Mom. I just don't want you to have more thoughts because of me" replied Kiran.

"I think more and more that you're crying silently, honey. I don't feel good about being a husband when I see you" said Darren Lirih. He kissed Kiran on the top of his head and then took off his embrace.

"Don't talk like that, Mom! You're a good husband to me,"

"really? Promise me not to cry behind my back. Tell me everything you feel for me!"
