The Arrival of Paula

Paula's headed for the beach, she wants to calm down there. On the beach he felt calmer, making it easier to make a decision.

Long Paula kept silent on the beach, Paula just sat hugging her knees. He's been in touch with Alex many times, but none of his calls have been answered. Not even the message he sent was read by Alex. Paula's calls and messages not being responded to at all by Alex make Paula even more sad.

Paula eventually contacts her mother-in-law, Alex's mother. Paula asks where Alex and his son are. His shame and prestige were thrown away for information about the whereabouts of his husband and son.

A few hours passed, after which Paula decided to return home. Before returning home, Paula booked her flight tomorrow.

Arriving home, Paula finds an envelope with the local court logo on the dining table as she is about to drink. In the envelope, Paula was curious and immediately opened the envelope.

Paula reads with trembling hands, in the letter containing the first court call of divorce. Alex has filed for divorce from Paula, a hearing will be held two days later.

Paula was shocked to drop the call. It turns out that her marriage to Alex is coming to an end. Not a single shred of thought would part with Alex.

Ever since Alex and Anton became friends in Junior High, they've been like family. Their closeness exceeds that of siblings. Support each other, share problems and always be together under any circumstances.

"Ary was married a few weeks ago" Alex said suddenly after the two fell silent for a long time.

"Continue?" ask Anton while biting the sandwich.

"Gue who broke his promise, I should have come to propose to him. But I got married first, so Ary accepted another man's proposal. If I hadn't been drunk and slept with Paula, I might have been her husband" Alex said.

"That means Ary's not your soul mate! Don't regret it, it has become your way of life. Love but not to have." replied Anton.

"Gue was disappointed, therefore my heart for Paula was closed. I don't know when my heart can be open to other than Ary." Alex breathed out violently, hoping to reduce the tightness in his chest.

"Udeehhhh! I want to go back to the office again, papi has been back and forth contacting! If I come to the office later, I can be fired as his son. Fired from work, I can still get fired again. If I'm fired as Papi Kusuma's son, there's no more bokap me!" anton said as he walked away from Alex.

Alex finally paid for all their orders. When it was over, Alex decided to go home. He wanted to play with his son, in order to forget the problems he was facing. Divorce and her heart problems are not resolved.

Alex drove his car at a moderate speed, it felt like he had not chatted with his son for a long time.

A few minutes later, Alex reached his home. He parked his car in the garage. After that, he put his foot into the house. Just as he had just opened the door, he was startled by a woman sitting in the living room.

"Why did you come here?" alex said with emotion.

"We need to talk, Lex!" paula said as soon as she heard Alex's voice.

"There's nothing more to talk about, you just have to attend the hearing in court" Alex replied walking over to Paula.

Alex deliberately approached Paula so that her voice did not bluster, because she said loudly when she was far away from Paula. Alex doesn't want Kevin to hear his parents' quarrel.

"What's my fault, you can divorce me!" ask Paula.

"What's your fault?! Ask yourself what you did until I divorced you!" answer Alex.

"Why don't you give me a chance to improve? Why?!"

"The opportunity is always there, it's just that you never use it well. You said you wanted to be free, right? Now I will set you free! I'm breaking the bond that exists between us. From now onwards you are free, you are not my wife anymore" Alex said at length.

"It can't be like that, I still love you. Give me one more chance, please!" Paula pleaded with tears.

"If you love me, you should always be by my side not by another man's side. Sorry Paula, I can't share mine with anyone else. So I better let you go, chase your dreams, pursue your ambitions. I'll give you a big compensation."

"You want money, don't you? I'll give you our house that lives for you. So will my cafe, I'll give you one" Alex said.

"I don't want a divorce! I want you!" shouted Paula hysterically.

"You better get out of here, before my parents come home!" alex's orders.

"No! Anyway I don't want to!" Paula is getting hysterical.

Seeing Paula hysterical, Alex orders her security guard to take Paula out of the house.

"Take him to the nearest hotel, sir!" alex said as he stroked his temple.
