We'd Better Just End It

"What message do you want?" ask Alex to Tere.

Alex takes Tere to dinner where they usually eat. Because Alex doesn't know any other place that fits Tere's taste.

"As usual, my mom!" answer the spoiled Tere.

Although Tere looks attractive, but for Alex the cost alone. There is no woman more beautiful than Ary. For Alex, Ary is second to none.

They ordered the food as they always ate at the restaurant. There was nothing special about that day. They eat in silence until the food is gone.

"There's something I want to talk about, I hope you'll listen to it until it's over" Alex said as they finished their dinner.

"By the way, mom! Tere was ready to listen." Tere replied with a sweet smile.

"It's about us." Alex paused his words for a moment.

He wanted to see Tere's reaction. Tere who was still silent, was ready to listen to what Alex was going to say. Although Tere continues to pursue Alex, but Tere limits.

"We'd better finish this engagement, because until now I haven't been able to love you. I don't know why that feeling hasn't been present, even though we've been together for years. Maybe we should just be friends or brothers." Alex takes in as much air as possible, then exhales it slowly.

"You are beautiful, kind and loving. I'm sure you can get a man who loves you sincerely. A man who can make you happy later. And that man wasn't me" Alex said, ending the relationship with Tere.

"Tere can't, mas! Tere already loves Alex." Tere replied in tears.

"Feelings can't be forced, Tere. If only our hearts could be set to love whom. I definitely told you to love you. But my heart can't be told to anchor it to anyone" Alex told Tere.

"Because the heart can not be arranged, so Tere persisted waiting for Alex to accept Tere. Tere is still patiently waiting for Alex to love Tere." Tere said.

"Therefore, I do not want to hurt you more. We better end this. Not to get deeper in the wounds in your heart. Also so that I don't feel more guilty for always hurting you." Alex explained his wish.

"Look at the outside world, Tere! There are many people out there who love you sincerely. Don't hurt yourself, it's called self-torture! God will be angry if his people torture themselves." Alex tries to persuade Tere to end their engagement.

"If we end this engagement, we're not getting married. Surely both of our parents will be ashamed, ma'am!" Tere was looking for an excuse for Alex to drop his intentions.

"Nobody knows our engagement, Tere!" answer Alex.

"Who said nobody knows, my mom and Alex's mom have announced our engagement at their show. Many already know our engagement, ma'am! Where would our parents be, if we ended this engagement?" Tere still doesn't want to end.

"I don't want to repeat the same mistake. My first marriage failed, one of them because of one-sided love. Until whenever our relationship will never work" said Alex finally, it is one of the reasons he can not fully love Paula.

Alex loves Paula because of the flesh blood that connects them. While with Tere, Alex already considers Tere as his sister. Because Alex and Tere grew up together, it's like family.

"It hurts when a woman pursues the love of a man who has never seen her. I don't want you to get hurt, because you're already I consider a sister. You know, love can't be forced. So before we fall apart, we better end it now" Alex continued.

Tere's tears continued to flow incessantly. Tere cried until he could not speak. He listened to what Alex said.

Alex who could not bear to see Tere who continued to cry, finally gave Tere a drink as his hand continued to rub his back. Tere received the drink and drank it to the toilet. After Tere calms down, Alex takes Tere home.

Alex wants to ask Anton for help, because Alex feels confident that only Anton can help him.

"Call that person politely! Ask for help but can not respect people" said Anton remained focused on his HP.

"Antonius Nugroho, can I ask you a favor? Please comfort Tere, keep Tere from forgetting me." said Alex held back his regret.

"If you want to ask the police for help! I'm not a cop, so I'm sorry! You have the wrong address." replied Anton putting on a serious face.

An irritated Alex takes the pillow at Anton's feet and throws it at Anton.

Anton's voice falls to the floor, Karen slips out of Anton's hand, as Alex throws a pillow at her.

"Eh, I'm serious about asking for help, you know me!" alex said he was sitting on Anton's bedside.

"I'm really asking for help, you persuaded Tere to let me go. End our engagement. You entertain him too, the guy in this world is not just me. There are still you who love him sincerely" said Alex at length who made Anton become annoyed.
