Darren's Disease

In a VIP treatment room St Hospital. Thomas, London, Jenny looks at the back of Emy who from last night seemed reluctant to move from the bed where Darren lay and still unconscious after escaping from his critical period.

His brain kept remembering and repeating when he saw Emy's reaction yesterday.

The flash back

Briana, Darwin, Jeffrey, and Jenny are being overwhelmed with anxiety. Because they have been waiting for two hours in front of the ER room but not yet seen a single medical officer who came out of there. Inwardly, they were unceasingly praying that Darren would be able to get through his critical period.

Jenny who was sitting on one of the benches waiting to see the figure of Emy and Addy from the end of the hall that seemed to get closer with her quick steps.

"Briana, how's he doing? Why would that happen to him?" emy asked with a feeling so anxious that she could not shed tears.

"He's being treated by a doctor. Let's just pray that everything will be fine,"

"Me and Darwin just got back from the doctor's office dealing with Darren. Darren.. turned out to have chronic kidney failure, and his chances of living are not long" said Briana, followed by sobs that are increasingly broken.

"Isn't that Natalie's sister?" Jenny wondered more when she saw the woman who doubles as an assistant and friend Darren was crying sobbing on the park bench.

Jeffrey immediately dribbled his green bead, following the direction where Jenny's gaze was headed but there was no more response from him.

"Sister Natalie?" Natalie gasps when she realizes the existence of Jenny who has been around since when. He hurriedly swept away the tears that soaked his face and reviewed a slight forced smile to cover up the sadness on his face.

"Miss Jenny? What are you doing here?" ask Natalie who immediately moved from her seat. Actually, he already knew the reason Jenny was at the Hospital where she was on foot at this time.

"Mr Jeffrey? You're here too?" greet Natalie back who just realized the existence of Jeffrey who also just came.

Jeffrey just nodded slightly as he frowned. Having amnesia makes it a little difficult to adapt to people who seem new to him.

"I told you, just call me Jenny, aren't we friends?" jenny's protest didn't seem to like it. Natalie smiled only.

"We just got out of the room where Darren was being treated and we intend to go home first. What's Natalie doing here?" natalie's countenance immediately turned sad when she heard Darren's name. Instead of answering Jenny's questions immediately, she asked back.

"May I know, how is Mr Darren doing now?" ask Natalie to hesitate. He returned unable to hold back tears. From his face was a huge worry.

"If you're so worried about him, look at him now, he's in need of a lot of support from the people closest to him right now," said Jenny who can indeed capture what kind of feelings are growing in Natalie's heart for Darren.
