After two days of living in Emy and Addy's house, Jeffrey invites Jenny to live in his apartment. Jenny's blue bead swept through Jeffrey's lavish-looking apartment room. The use of colors with black and gray shades further deepen the masculine feel of a typical male room.
"Why are you still standing there? My room is right over there" said Jeffrey, who immediately caught Jenny's attention.
"Yes," Jenny answered briefly and then stepped into Jeffrey's room but her steps were stopped because the man who had the status of her husband pulled Jenny's back collar, making her body slightly staggered backward.
"Where are you going?" ask Jeffrey coldly.
"I want to put my things down" Jenny replied.
"Your room is over there?" Jeffrey pointed to the room at the very end of the corner.
"So we'll sleep separately? Phew! Thank goodness then. I can sleep peacefully," Jenny's inner self was relieved.
Without thinking, Jenny turned her body to the left and returned to move her legs to the room that would become her private room.
Jenny was immediately flabbergasted after opening the door of her room. He could not believe what he was seeing now. Even the tiny room in his house was much better than the room before him now.
"Are you wrong to give me a room? Isn't this a warehouse?" jenny asked in a disappointed tone.
"I'm not wrong, it's your room, indeed" Jeffrey said casually and then landed his body on the sofa. He deliberately wanted to teach the girl a lesson because because because of his theater, Jeffrey was forced to marry her.
"What?! But it's not worth a bed" Jenny protested.
"Whatever, you can sleep outside if you don't like it" Jeffrey said as he pleased.
"Please put the stuff down and come over here. There's something we need to talk about" Jeffrey said.
With resignation Jenny obeyed Jeffrey's words, occupying the warehouse as her room. His gaze went through the entire warehouse room. His lips were slightly scratched when he saw there was a thin mattress that was still worth using.
"Not too bad. I'll just clean up and tidy up this room later," Jenny told herself.
"Well, it turns out that from here I can see the cityscape," Jenny headed for the large glass window next to the room.
"All right! From today on you have to be stronger through your days than ever before Jenny. At least you have to remember Mommy Briana's kindness, so you have to be a little kind to her son who is very very very annoying," the blonde girl gave herself an injection of encouragement.
Then Jenny headed to the room where Jeffrey was.
"What do you want to talk about?" ask Jenny curious.
"I'm going to do a marriage contract deal," Jeffrey's reply instantly created a frown on both ends of Jenny's eyebrows.
"Marriage contract? The fathom?"
"You know that our marriage was a secret until we graduated college and I wanted to be divorced then. You have to agree to this deal" Jeffrey said firmly.
"Whatdidyou say? You think a wedding is just a game that means you're playing me, too" Jenny seemed to object.
"Ck! Did I not hear wrong? Who's playing who's your max? I'm just following the flow of the game you made yourself," Jeffrey screeched.
"I don't understand your max? What game have I made?"
"Don't act stupid. I already knew that you accepted this match for money. My mommy must have given you a lot of money. I didn't expect you to be a realistic woman" Jeffrey said.
Throwing a sentence that came out of Jeffrey's mouth that was none other than her husband immediately made Jenny stunned. Where does he know that from? Because at that time no one knew the conversation between him and Briana about money at that time. On the other hand, Jenny felt hurt when Jeffrey thought of her as a materialistic woman.
"Why should I be hurt? Isn't that how it is? I accepted this marriage for money. I have to be ready to accept the accusation, this is already the risk of my decision," Jenny's mind strengthened, although in fact she was very sad.
"Where do you know that?" ask Jenny trying hard.
"I heard it when you met my Mommy at the Coffee Shop. I heard clearly your conversation. So you don't have to work hard to stand up to cover up your ugliness" scorned Jeffrey who increasingly made Jenny's heart sliced.
"If Jefrrey had heard all of our conversations, she wouldn't have spoken like that. Let it be, I don't want to be pitied by this annoying guy either" Jenny said in her heart.
"I'm afraid both of our parents will be disappointed if they find out about this contract marriage agreement" Jenny said.
"Are you stupid?! This deal is only the two of us can figure it out" Jeffrey exclaimed. He certainly did not want to take the risk if his parents knew that his son made a crazy agreement.
"But..,"
"But what?" Jeffrey cut Jenny's speech.
"Don't tell me you mind because you started liking me?" continued Jeffrey who immediately made Jenny stunned.
"O dear young master Jeffrey Allison, why are you so confident? I don't even know what I like about you, you might say that. I feel like throwing up a rainbow in front of you" Jenny said.
Jeffrey is increasingly showing his jutek face because of Jenny's speech.
"Shut your mouth if you don't want me to slap my feet!"
"Remember as long as this contract marriage agreement lasts you have no right to forbid me from dealing with anyone, so the status of marital relations is only written on paper, other than that we are nobody," jeffrey toilet.
Jenny seemed to think, weighing up the decision whether she should accept or reject the rules made Jeffrey.
"You don't have to bother considering it, after all your decision isn't needed here because the absolute decision is in my hands. Some of our marriage is not the basis of mutual love but because it is for the benefit of each. You get the money you want, whereas I can keep my name from getting smeared off the family and heirs list. So there's nothing to lose if we finally get a divorce" Jeffrey explained at length.
"And there's another one" Jeffrey added.
"What else? Why so many rules?" lady Jenny. He had not even answered Jeffrey's words before.
"From today on, I no longer call upon the services of a maid to do all the housework,"
"Why indeed?"
"Why still ask? There you are, why do I call the maid again,"
"Being a maid in the husband's own house? It's tragic your fate, Jenny," Jenny's inner self who feels sorry for her life's destiny.
"Ehem!" Jenny cleared her throat to restore her inner tightness.
"That's not a problem for me, I can do all the homework, as long as you don't forbid me from going to college" Jenny replied confidently.
A while Jeffrey looked at Jenny with an unreadable spotlight that made the girl amazed.
"Why do you see me like that?
"I didn't expect to marry a girl like you. Why is my life so fucking shit?!" jeffrey's reply was cold.
"Whatever you say, I'd better get ready to go to college by noon soon, '" Jenny tried to divert the conversation, which hurt her even more.
"Pel all the floors in the room first before you leave" Jeffrey said.
"Can't it be later, class hours start if I mop the floor first" Jenny bargained.
"What do you think is here a fish market that can be bargained for? Do all my orders or I'll tell your mama that you're married for money? I'm sure your mama doesn't know about it yet" Jeffrey tweeted.
"Yes God! Why would he use that to threaten me? Nah! Mama should not know about the money, she can be sad if she knows what I use the money for, "inner Jenny riled.
"Well, I'll follow all your orders but please don't tell my mother about it" Jenny resigned.
"She's a really bad girl. Though I was just guessing it turns out my guess is right that Mama did not know about the money given Mommy. I'm sure the money was for fun" Jeffrey said.
"Start by mopping the room floor first. Remember the floor mop uses your hand and the mop resets by 3x. Never cheat because I've installed a hidden CCTV in every room" Jeffrey ordered as his employer to the maid. Actually Jeffrey lied about the CCTV.
The ringing sound on Jeffrey's phone caught his attention. Veronica's name appears to decorate the flat object screen.
"Hello," Jeffrey said after receiving a call request from Veronica and he deliberately activated the loudspeaker to let Jenny hear.
"Hello baby, you've set out to pick me up yet? I've been waiting for you, the class is about to begin," Veronica's voice sounded soft and spoiled across the phone.
"I'm leaving now" replied Jeffrey.
"Okay baby, I love you,"
Jeffrey glanced at Jenny at a glance before replying to Veronica's spoiled remark.
"I love you too" said Jeffrey full of lies. Honestly she said that sentence to make Jenny feel unappreciated as a wife.
Veronica who was across the phone could be sure she was jumping for joy at hearing Jeffrey say such a sweet sentence to her for the first time.
After the call ended, Jeffrey left the apartment disregarding Jenny who was still loyal with his stunned feelings.
Yes, Jenny who had heard Jeffrey's conversation with Veronica seemed flabbergasted.
"Well! I could have heard my husband say love to his girlfriend. It looks like my married life will be full of drama" Jenny said, smiling bitterly.
"I love you dear, I love you too.., really disgusting," sheckled Jenny while mimicking the conversation of Jeffrey and Veornica.
Of jealousy? It's not what Jenny feels but disappointment. Although there is no feeling of love or love in their current marriage bond, Jenny still hopes her status as a wife is appreciated.
