Marriage Contract Jeff And Jenn

Marriage Contract Jeff And Jenn
Meet Old Friends

Briana flinched when she saw Jenny's body begin to give a small gesture that signaled her consciousness was beginning to return. Jenny's narrow forehead shriveled and her pretty eyes blinked as her retina began to work capturing the light biases of the room lights.

"Thank God, are you finally awake? " ask Briana to Jenny.

Jenny frowned, trying to remember what happened. He looked at the face of a woman about the same age as his mother, Emy. The cliches of events a few hours ago started popping up regularly in his mind, a sign that there was nothing wrong with the girl's brain and memory.

"Mrs, are you okay? Sorry I pushed you because I almost got hit by a car earlier," Jenny said sincerely.

Briana was really stunned to find the attitude of the girl in front of her. How could he still have time to ask the circumstances of others while his condition is worse at this time.

"I'm very well, it's all because you helped me, thank you," Briana replied smiling warmly and gratefully.

"Thank God" Jenny replied. Occasionally he seemed to be frowning from the throbbing in his head.

"I'll call the doctor to check on you first huh," Briana said then she exited the room. A moment later he returned with a male Doctor who looked younger than him.

The man wearing the white suit started doing a basic check on Jenny.

"Thankfully, the patient only had minor injuries, so there was nothing to worry about. The wound on his head also did not hurt his brain. Tomorrow the patient can also go straight home," explained the Doctor with a friendly.

"But why did he become unconscious?" briana asked Dr. Hadley who was none other than her own biological sister.

"It could have happened because the patient was in mild shock" explained Dr. Hadley again.

The next day, after Jenny is really in a state of improvement, Briana intends to take Jenny to the city of Cambridge.

"Thank you Madam, once again I have troubled you. You paid the hospital fee and now you're dropping me off" Jenny told Briana.

"Good girl, why are you so unrelenting to thank me? I should be the one to thank. Everything I do is my duty, and stop calling me madam. Call me aunt Briana," said Briana who increasingly rolling time of love and comfort with Jenny getting bigger.

"Good aunt," Jenny smiled as she nodded her head.

°°°

A woman who is almost 50 years old appears to be working as an Office Girl. Sweeps, handlers, mops, cleaning cloth, and other hygiene support tools seemed to accompany him. The marble-lined corridor floor of the apartment already looks clean and shiny.

She's Emy, Jenny's birth mother. In between his work, he was seen several times checking the phone stored in his uniform pocket. Surat-gurat angst was faintly visible on his face. Indeed, when asked whose heart always has a strong inner bond, then a Mother is the answer other than Father.

Yes, since yesterday he couldn't contact Jenny, his daughter. Last night he kept calling the daughter's cell phone number, but only the voice of the operator's machine answered. A mother's heart was in turmoil for no reason.

Time continues to roll, it does not feel the day is approaching the afternoon, working hours are also time to end. Emy goes into a house that is not so big with the cost of rent every month.

He sighed violently after being greeted with the sight that had been his meal these past few years.

"Can't you stop Addy's bad habit?" emy asked her husband who was sitting on the floor and leaning on the sofa with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

Addy just bowed as if he was carrying a chunk of stone that made it heavy to just lift his head. The lines of frustration were so visible on his face.

"That drink can't help you rise from the brink. Be more enthusiastic in life," said Emy.

A few years ago, Addy had a business in the field of food but went bankrupt. Several times he tried to get up and started to re-start his efforts from the beginning, but again failed. That's the reason that makes him what he is now.

"I'm sorry, because I'm not a dick to be a husband," confounded Addy with a heavy head due to the influence of liquor.

Emy just took a deep breath.

"Please stop drinking. It's not very good for your health" Emy said, wiping a bottle of drink from Addy's hand and throwing it in the trash. Then he brought Addy into the room and laid his body on the bed and covered his body with a thick blanket to the chest.

Emy looked at Addy's face which looked very tangled with a sideburn that began to settle on his face. The woman was trying to understand the situation of the husband, but sometimes she felt tired of facing the attitude of despair of her husband.

The sound of the doorbell distracts Emy. The woman immediately went to the door and opened it.

"Darling, what's wrong with your head? You seem to be hurt? Are you all right? Why did you come without calling Mama first heumm?" a barrage of questions just popped out of Emy's lips. Anxiety was clearly on his face.

"Mom, where should I answer your question first? Am I confused?"jenny said chuckling.

"Mama misses you so much, baby, from yesterday you can't be reached, it makes me anxious" said Emy, hugging her daughter's little body carefully.

"Jenny misses you a lot too Ma" Jenny said.

"Let's go in first, the temperature outside is low at this time," asked Emy.

"Didn't you let this old friend of yours come in, too, Emy?" Sela Briana whose existence has not been realized by Emy since.

A pair of blue netra Emy immediately boughtak when he saw the whereabouts of Briana.

"Briana? Howareyou? I miss you so much" said Emy who immediately splashed in the arms of Briana who was also greeted enthusiastically by Briana.

"I'm very good. Where have you been all this time? I've been looking for you but you're like you're lost in the earth, you friend, you don't have a heart" Briana said after letting go of her hug.

"Ma, we should go in first, just talk inside, like Auntie Briana if you have to stand outside for a long time" said Jenny after setting aside her surprise. He also did not expect that the person he helped yesterday was the old friend of the mother.

Eventually the three men entered the house. After talking for a long time, Jenny decided to rest in the room she used to live in when visiting her Mama's house. Until now only Briana and Emy are in the living room.

The two friends are still letting go of each other by discussing some fragments of their life stories.

"Emy, I didn't even know that you remarried after your first husband died. Back then, after I came back from Paris I tried to come to you but you've moved. Your phone number can't even be reached" Briana told me.

"At that time, I sold my house for medical treatment in Birmingham and rented a house. My phone went missing on the way to town and when I came back to see you, it turned out you didn't live in your old house" Emy looked sad.

Thomas, the father of Jenny, is Emy's second husband. During treatment for cervical cancer, Emy met Thomas and they married. Although in the end their marriage bond had to run aground.

"Em, I want to apologize. Actually, Thomas died trying to save my son's life from a car crash" said Briana, who began to feel guilty and unwell.

"What?! Why such a coincidence? Does Jenny know?" ask Emy doesn't believe it.

Briana shook her head slowly.

"Yet. I haven't told him yet. Give me time, for now I can't tell him, I'm afraid he's disappointed in me" Briana said expectantly.

"Yes, although our status is not husband and wife anymore but I am also very sad to hear the news of my ex-husband's death. At that time, I was also very worried about Jenny's condition, which seemed to be hit by the loss of the father she loved so much,"

"Please, don't tell him that, because I will tell him myself, but not for now" said Briana.

"All right,"

"Thank you, yeah,"

"Bri?" call Emy who is now showing a sad face.

"Yes what's wrong?"

"My son, how is my son now? Is he growing up well? Did he trouble you and Darwin?" Emy asked with an eye patch that was getting wet. Implied a deep longing for the look on his face.
