Darwin's Threat

"Do you want to die? Can you lower the volume of your voice?" hardik Jullian who was embarrassed because some customers who were still in the cafe turned to Jullian.

"I don't know, actually you are plain or potato-brained" snorted Jullian who then continued his work.

The clock continues to spin on its axis, so that it does not feel the time of the clock home from work has arrived. Jullian invites Jenny to stop by to buy some food somewhere but she refuses. Remembering the last few days the mother seemed unwell made the girl want to go home soon.

"Do you want to die?! Don't mess up my apartment with those j*lang ladies," hardened Jeffrey who got increasingly upset.

"Come on, I just want to make your mood better" said Sammy.

Jeffrey seemed to take a very deep breath and exhaled violently. He wiped the canned drink from the table and gulped it down until it was left.

"Do you remember when I was kicked out of the house?" jeffrey asked Alvin and Sammy with a gaze that could not be separated from the empty drink can in his hand.

"Of course I still remember. You were a bum for two months and you even became an impromptu street singer in a city park" said Sammy was excited by the beaming face-to-face mimicry.

"Why do you look so happy when you tell that story, huh?!" jeffrey snorts to Sammy.

"Hehehe, I even had a lot of videos and photos when you were a bum" said Sammy, who further upset Jeffrey and threw an empty drink can into Sammy's face but missed.

"What's really going on? You're acting again?" alvin asked as he chewed on the snacks he had picked up from the fridge in Jeffrey's apartment.

"It looks like I'm going to be a bum again" said Jeffrey, and then laid his body down on the couch violently.

Jeffrey looked straight at the ceiling of the apartment. Her green lens was just staring straight at one point. His mind began to spin back into flashback a few days ago.

"If one day, the girl accepts this match, you have to accept it too" Darwin told Jeffrey.

"But Dad, why are you just following his decision? Why don't Daddy and Mommy hear my decision too? Jeffrey doesn't love him Dad, Mom. Shouldn't a marriage be based on mutual love? I'm 20 years old anyway. I'd be so ashamed if my friends would ever find out that I married young" Jeffrey protested at length with annoyance mixed with disappointment.

"Our decision is unanimous and irreversible, this is also for your good. Your mommy's pretty sure she's the right girl for you rather than your current boyfriend," Darwin's words upset Jeffrey even more.

"I will continue to oppose this matchmaking" Jeffrey said. It was as if he was ready to raise a war flag against his parents.

"Then do as you please, then Daddy will revoke all your facilities and smear your name from the list of families and heirs" threatened Darwin who never toyed with his words.

Instead of answering Alvin's question, Jeffrey turned his gaze to every corner of the living room in his apartment which immediately made him wrinkle the two ends of his eyebrows thick until they almost fused together.

"You two, until when are you gonna stay here?" jeffrey said in a calm tone but looked terrible.

"We're staying here tonight? We want to comfort you who are upset. Aren't we good friends?" say Sammy with pride.

"Do you want to destroy my apartment?! You guys are not entertaining but it just makes my mood worse!" jeffrey snapped annoyed after seeing the state of the living room was so messy. Packs of food and drink cans were scattered everywhere. Peanut skin that mounts on the table, the contents of snacks that scatter sweeping the floor to sweet liquid that spills on the carpet make Jeffrey's apartment like a house in a slum, smelly and dirty.

"Do you guys want to make a nest here?! huh uh?! I wonder, you guys are actually human or animal?!" the story of Jeffrey was unrelenting so that Alvin and Sammy's eardrums were grunting like there was a fly that would lay eggs in it.

Alvin and Sammy look inching to see Jeffrey who is like a starving lion. They were like poor little rabbits and begged the lion not to eat them.
