In the end, I really just grinned in response to the words of Aunt Vienna. The truth is that because now I am confused to respond with what kind of sentence.
Truly, there is no tranquilizing sentence that comes to my mind at this time other than the justification sentence that I have been deliberately holding back so as not to be voiced.
For some reason, there was a tremendous reluctance to respond to the words of others who commented on my relationship with Fabian.
"Re, take the meat! Meat that aunty roast delicious loh. Don't forget the chips!" Exclaimed Aunt Vienna who I immediately embraced with a polite smile. Then he passed by to rejoin the other adults. Right, no exception Father and Mother who also haha-hihi in the corner there.
I sighed, and realized that Bian was no longer next to me. My eyes are cringing. Go where is she??
Ignoring Bian, I began to circulate my gaze around. After further attention, apparently this is a garden party with a barbecue menu of seasoning beef, sausage and corn. A large table in the middle of the yard looks crowded because on it there are so many items and a variety of foods.
Spreading my eyes once more, as far as my eyes looked I seemed to see only two families attending this garden party. Surely my family is the host, and the Bian family is the invited guest.
Wonderful, why the hell is Dad so happy to make an event only with his family Bian? Why can you try that familiar? Though Father's friends in Jakarta are close there are also many. But why is it that only Bian's family seems so familiar??
A thousand questions about that fact instantly ambushed my head. I don't know, this mystery is quite confusing!
"Cobain, Brother?"
I then looked back. Struck for a moment to see the presence of Fabiola, the youngest brother of Bian, who had been behind my back for some time by thrusting freshly cooked grilled corn to me.
I smiled clumsyly. Then accept it awkwardly. "Thank you, yeah,"
Then, Fabiola nodded briefly before going back to his place in front of the grill.
I smiled at this grilled corn, which looked sweet because this grilled corn was Fabiola's gift.
And, in the end I decided to find a place that could be occupied to enjoy this grilled corn casually. From where I was standing not far from the glass door of the backyard, I saw Bian now sitting alone on the gazebo which was right on the edge of the small koi fish pond there.
I frowned, looking at him who seemed to be very busy with his phone, and nearby was only a glass of drink he had placed on the gazebo by his side without any companion food. After giving an unnecessary explanation, he seemed like he was less interested in this barbecue party. I don't know, but I think he was bored because just yesterday we both ate the same menu, maybe a little different in seasoning.
Without much thought, I decided to join him. There are no empty seats available anywhere near here. Then, without excuse or greeting him first, I just sat down next to him. Enjoy this grilled corn then calmly.
"Kok don't take me anyway?" Suddenly he made a sound, which of course attracted attention.
I glanced at him. Stay with my busy life; eat and enjoy the delicious corn roasted by Fabiola.
"Take it yourself. Have hands and feet too." My grunts were cranky with no guilt.
