Making a Game in High School

Making a Game in High School
Chapter 30: Interview

A female host had called me to enter her show, a sofa had been provided there and I sat down after she invited her.

Because of a request I show up wearing my usual uniform.

"Thank you for coming to the studio, your name is Tora, you are the leader of the company that has recently attracted the attention of many people, how do you describe those feelings?"

"I feel happy that our name can start to be known by many people, I'm sure my friends also feel that way, thanks to them also our game can be launched."

"So, before many people doubted that a game like this was made by high school students, now I'm sure after seeing this live, everyone will be sure."

I laughed a little to answer.

"We've been looking for a little fact about you, that you're an accomplished student especially you're the son of a well-known game maker.. people even say that you have certain connections in order to get to this stage."

"I think everyone was overreacting, we haven't reached the stage we wanted to be even if we didn't become champions in the game, we're definitely not a high enough company... if we have a connection instead of being champions one, what is it?"

The host laughed a little.

"It's true, if you have a connection why not become a champion one only. You hear, all the accusations are false."

The host turned his spirit emotions to the front of the camera. This was made to melt the atmosphere to create a pleasant conversation and from here the thing that was bothering me started.

"I heard that your father ended his life because of a game, we previously mourned even your mother also with the heart to leave you and your sister, is there something conveyed to it?"

"I don't want to say anything, which is clear whether my sister and I have forgotten about it and chose to open a new page, and therefore also I can choose games as our next life goal."

"Let's clap to encourage him."

I smiled a little.

"Then to last can you tell me what kind of plan for your company?"

"We're producing a game for the Magic School Assassin novel, I hope many people will support it after its release."

"We're really looking forward to it, then see you again at the next event."

I leaned my shoulders as I sighed softly before turning my eyes towards the host, she is a woman in her 40s but she has a pretty face with black hair.

"Mom's acting is pretty impressive, if they know that you abandoned your own children then it would be quite a scandal isn't it?"

"That's how, mom doesn't care about us then we also feel that way, then I'm retreating."

I was about to walk away but the host stopped me.

"Let's talk for a minute."

"There's nothing to say, I told you either I or Tiara we've both opened a new leaf, even if mom tries to take us, we'll both definitely reject it, compared to us rich husbands it can make you happy."

"Wait."

I don't need his regrets.

If only he hadn't left us even though we lived a simple life at least my father would still be alive today.

I walked outside the studio while thinking about it.

If only I could find a time machine would I be able to go back in time, then change everything?

Of course not.

Even what happened in the past will never change and the present is just a struggle for the future.

When I opened the door, a blinding light hit my face and there everyone I knew was standing waiting for me.

"It's a good interview" Albert said.

"What are you doing here?"

"Today Rin invites us to celebrate the celebration of his second printed volume, let's go."

"True sister."

"Good, good."

My hand pulled Tiara to move following the others.
