Episode 6: The Right Choice

6. The Right Choice

“Life is a matter of choices and every choice make you,” – John C. Maxwells.

“What do you mean ask us to join him?” alvian asked as he crossed his arms. He took a deep breath and shook slowly.

“She just explained that she needs people like us. He also said that they have the same fate and abilities but not the same. The rest, he did not explain anything,” Alice replied with a straight look.

“Similar but not the same?” Alvian repeated the sentence. Alice simply nodded and instantly Alvian gave a faint grin.

“What's your grin?” alice asked, pulling her next to her eyebrow. Instantly he had a bad feeling. “Do not-don't you ..”

“Let's follow the game, Lice,” says Alvian sure. He leaned against the sofa with

he made both his arms as a head pillow.  “That means in this world not only we will have strange abilities.”

“Vian ..” Alice bit her lower lip and shook her head slowly. He had expected that Alvian would talk like that. “I .. do not want.”

“Why?” Alvian so re-enforced his back and observed the movements of his twin sister who was slightly agitated.

“I can't ... You know myself I'm weak, right?” alice asked with a bitter smile. “Every time I use this power, I can still hear clearly

those screams. They always berate us, Alvian!”

Alvian was stunned and finally understood. It seemed that Alice was still afraid of herself and was always in the past. Indeed, however, the treatment they received in the past suffering is very difficult to forget.

“I also never thought that we were getting in touch with all of this. Facing the monster again and dealing with this power. Are we really the damned child?” ask Alice annoyed. A pair of her emerald irises flashed, holding back the salty hairs that would fall on both of her cheeks.

Alvian finally sighed and turned to sit next to Alice. He stroked Alice's back which shook slowly. The girl was holding back the overflowing emotions.

“I understand how you feel. I also often imagined that suffering. After all, the wound is indeed very difficult to forget,” said Alvian calmly. Alice shook her head slowly as Alvian stroked her even more.

“Then, we should have rejected the offer, right? Why did we come all the way here if it was the same in the end?” alice asked who brushed off Alvian's hand. He even pulled the collar of his twin brother. “Say, do you want us to be reviled like that again, huh?!”

“Alice,” Alvian took Alice's hand off her collar and took a deep breath. “One thing you need to remember back .. we are indeed out of there to be free from suffering. But there is also one important thing you forget.”

“What?” Alice looked at him dislikeingly.

“We are also looking for identity,” Alvian smiled warmly and stroked the head of her twin sister. This was also the way he often did to calm Alice's emotions like this. “For what power does this exist? Are we really damned? That was also one of your questions all along, right?”

“Vian ..” Alice surprised and whining. “But ... but I ..”

“There are still many in this world that I don't understand, Alice,” muttered Alvian quietly. Then he smiled wryly. “Actually, I also do not want .. but ..

got to find out the truth, don't you?”

“But ... can't we be normal children?” exclaim Alice. Cry broke. “I

“You can Alice. No. .. not you. But you and I. You are not alone. I'm always by your side,” said Alvian seriously. He pulled Alice's body

he looked surprised and hugged her.

“Vian ..”

“Basically, we have indeed been born with this power. If it turns out that our way of life is like this, we cannot refuse. One important thing you need

understand is accept yourself, Lice. Accept yourself, accept your strength, and live your destiny.”

Alice nodded in silence. The issue grew increasingly violent and sounded raucous in Alvian's ears. The man did not expect that it would be too hard for Alice to accept herself.

“You are not weak. Don't be afraid of yourself. The more you fear, the more power it will take over your mind,” Alvian said in the embrace. As soon as his gaze became sharp, so did his words, “If you are afraid, I will protect you always. I swear I won't let that power control you again. Never will be.”

Alvian bit his lower lip and his body trembled faintly. The thought always bothered her, especially when Alice was in her arms. The sea of blood, the corpses that were strewn about, and the figure of the little girl standing in the midst of the chaos. With flaming red eyes, that smile always overshadowed Alvian's bad thoughts.

“I have protected you well, right, Kak?”

Alvian shook his head quickly and hurriedly took off the hug. He stared back at the doubtful emerald iris. “Trust me. We can go through everything.”

“Vian ..” Alice took a deep breath and smiled wistfully. “Good. Let's try to accept and be strong. I ... also do not want to be weak continue.”

Alvian nodded happily. She wiped Alice's tears and smiled happily. Alice is more calm. Even though the man knew it would take time for Alice

to accept himself.

“We will definitely get the answer. Lucas must have a clue ... what has indeed happened to us,” Alvian said as he clenched his five fingers. Her lips revealed a confident smile.

Alice once again just nodded. If Alvian is determined to move forward, Alice must follow him. Although deep down the girl still had doubts, but more important for her was her twin brother. Alice would never let the man fight on his own. It never will.

“So, where does Lucas promise his place?” tanya Alvian switched the topic. He got up from the sofa and brought two empty cups to the laundry sink.

“Kok you know?” alice asked confused. Then he put on a disgusted face and hurriedly snatched his jacket. “You open my jacket, huh? Ih, you ..!”

“Not that weird, really! I just want to see that shirt tear,” says Alvian fast. His twin sister is often strange-minded if Alvian is not quick to give an explanation. Alvian clearly did not mean that.

“He gave me the coordinates of the place but did not tell me the real place,” Alice replied as she took out the paper. “Later I will check using the application only.”

“When did he meet?” tanya Alvian finished washing the glasses. He walked up to Alice, who was sitting back on the sofa and glanced at the hologram of his sister.

“Front Saturday at two noon.”

Alvian grinned thinly and stroked his chin. “Good. Let's look forward to what was planned

this universe.”
