Finally Want to Talk

The door opened a little wide and she found Jessy lying on the bed. Feeling bad to disturb his best friend was resting but he kept his feet on the bed after closing the room door again.

"Jessy." Call her slowly who is standing next to the bed. "Jessy it's me Lanny." Lanny sits on the bed beside Jessy lying down.

Jessy opened her eyes slowly and turned her eyes aside to see who woke her up. Lanny smiled warmly at him and Jessy also gave a small smile to Lanny.

"How are you ? I'm sorry, because I just saw you, Jessy." Speak in a soft tone.

Jessy did not answer the question Lanny was asking, she just kept quiet and stared at just any place. Lanny feels sorry for her best friend, usually Jessy always answers what is asked of her. The woman who was once friendly and easy to smile is now not like Jessy who Lanny knew before.

Lanny touched Jessy's hand gently to have the woman before her talk. "Jessy. Are you mad at me because I just came to see you ?." Ask Lanny again who tried to get Jessy to talk.

Still no answer from Jessy, she still faithfully stared the other way in silence. Lanny is made to not understand and tangents how else to get Jessy to talk to her.

"alright. If you don't want to talk to me, that's okay. I love you Jessy. I'm going home." He said as he hugged Jessy tightly and then moved from his seat to get out of Jessy's room. But just now Lanny wanted to step towards the door of the room, suddenly Jessy's voice stopped her steps.

"Don't go, Lanny." Jessy's voice sounded a little raucous. Lanny also pulled both corners of her lips when she heard a voice from Jessy's mouth and Lanny was quick to turn her body to face Jessy who was still in bed.

It looks like Lanny is down the stairs, somehow she chatted with Jessy so she forgot the time even now it's 8 pm. Downstairs, Lanny meets Jessy's parents who are still sitting in the family room watching a television show.

"Uncle, Aunt. Lanny said to go home first." He said goodbye to his best friend's parents.

"No need for aunty. Someone's picking up Lanny up ahead."

"alright. You be careful on the road. Come by here again Lanny."

"Yes Aunt. Lanny will play around again here. See you soon Uncle, Aunt." Lanny hugged Leo and Olive alternately and then stepped her feet towards the front door.

How do I get home. It's 8pm now there's definitely no cab around here. I also don't want to trouble Jessy's family. He muttered as he walked out of Jessy's fence.

Lanny watches the watch on her left wrist, and looks to the right and left if there is a taxi passing by but most of the traffic is all private cars.

Lanny decided to walk to the front near the highway but suddenly she was startled by a loud horn from behind her. Lanny turns her body around and sees who is cloning her but the light of the car makes her eyes glare and can't see who is coming out of the car with.

Lanny retreated her footsteps in fear of who came to her, she had already squeezed her hand on the bag she was carrying.

"Miss Lanny." Said someone to him and his voice was not foreign to Lanny's ears.

The man walked up to Lanny who was like a frightened person, but Lanny's fear was instantly gone when she found out who the person was.

"Mr Juan." His reply was shocked and widened his two eyes.
