The alexa POV

The day that all the WHS students were waiting for arrived. Every student who trains for the race is also ready in their respective fields, including me who represents my class in the ballet dance competition.

My best friends Gaby and Jenny are also busy practicing basketball. Even Gaby also took part in a singing competition to represent our class. I salute him, because he can split his time to practice basketball and sing.

This morning the three of us gathered in the cafeteria as usual. But this time we're not going to snack, but rather discuss the race we're taking, "What song are you going to bring tonight, Gaby?" ask Jenny.

"Well, I've considered it, I'll be performing 'Real Friends' by Camila Cabello." Gaby replied.

"I love that song." I said, "It taught me how important the loyalty of friends is, like you two." I continued, staring at Gaby and Jenny. They smiled warmly at me.

I stood up from the chair, walked over to the seats of my two best friends, then grabbed their shoulders, "I don't wanna lose you, girls! You guys mean everything for me."

"Just calm down, Alexa. Whatever happens, we'll always be together." Jenny replied and rested her head on my left shoulder.

"She's right." said Gaby, "We've been friends for a year, no one can divide our friendship." Gaby leaned on my shoulder.

"I don't want to be an air destroyer, but we have to practice for a moment, Alexa!" Fiona suddenly appeared and shouted at my ears from behind, leaving the three of us in shock.

I wanted to express my frustration to Fiona but I paused, given my not much time, "Yeah, sure. See yes, girls! " i say goodbye to both of them, then follow Fiona.

After training with the instructor, we were directed to practice independently. And that's what I'm doing right now.

I practiced without musical accompaniment, and focused on my footsteps followed by the movements of my hands. I moved around, as I had been taught before. I took training too seriously to be unaware of Livian's presence at the door.

"Good dance." Livian commented.

"L-Livian? What are you doing here?" I'm a little nervous.

"Look at you dancing ballet." she replied casually, then walked over to me and patted me on both shoulders, "You have my support, Alexa. I'm sure you can beat Bianca this afternoon."

Livian's support is very meaningful in my opinion. Without me noticing, I smiled warmly at him and I could no longer hold back, "Thanks, Liv. It means a lot to me." I said while hugging him.

"Song, Alexa. I can't... Breathe." said Livian, trying to escape from Alexa's embrace. Soon Alexa let go of her hug, "Sorry, I'm too excited" Alexa said with a slightly blushing cheek.

"Well, you almost gave me a heart attack."

"Heart attack?" ask Alexa to be confused.

Livian rounded her eyes, she almost revealed to Alexa that she had feelings for the blond girl.

"Eh, y-you know... I can't have a heart attack right now because I have to run a basketball game a few minutes from now." Livian made her alibi. Alexa just chuckles, "Go ahead, Liv. You want to ask for my support in your race, don't you?" alexa said while raising both eyebrows.

"Y-yeah, you're right." said Livian scratching her head that didn't itch, "I'm going to the field now. Wanna join me? "

Alexa smiled amusedly at Livian and nodded in agreement to Livian's invitation.

After the opening by the WHS cheerleaders, other competitions were officially opened.

Before Gaby and Jenny enter the basketball court, Alexa approaches them, "I'll always support you, girls!" alexa said, embracing the shoulders of her two best friends.

"We will do our best." Gaby said.

"Yep, Gaby also showed a lot of development during the exercise." Jenny chimed.

"Even if you doubted me from the start, I managed to prove that there was nothing you two should worry about." Gaby replied in defense of her.

Alexa and Jenny looked at each other, "We don't doubt you!" alexa and Jenny together.

"Yeah, whatever. Come on, Jenny, the game's about to start!" take Gaby and walk first to the field. Jenny puts both of her shoulders on Alexa and catches up with Gaby.

Alexa smiled warmly as she looked at the backs of her two best friends, I will do anything for you both, even though I have to give up my feelings for Alvin, inner Alexa.

As if knowing that Alexa was thinking about it, Alvin stood right next to Alexa in his basketball uniform, "You're lucky to have them, and they're lucky to have you, too" Alvin said, looking at Alexa's two best friends from a distance, "But you don't have to do everything for them." Alvin's two brown eyes were fixed on Alexa until the two's gazes met.

Whether he can read my mind, inner Alexa panicked.

"I know Jennifer likes Andy, and Andy likes you." continued Alvin, making Alexa breathe a sigh of relief, "If you also like Andy, don't hold your feelings, just express it."

Oh no, Alvin misrepresented Alexa's attitude, "A-I... I-I mean I don't feel anything at all about Andy."

Alvin frowned as he looked at Alexa, "Come on, Alexa. Don't I know you're lying?" alvin again. He really doesn't understand what Alexa means.

Alexa's intention is increasing to express her feelings for Alvin, "I'm not lying" Alexa said as she looked up to look up at Alvin who was taller than her. Both of his eyes looked at Alvin seriously, "How can I like someone else if I've liked you since I went to school at WHS?"

Well, you could say Alexa finally expressed her feelings on this historic day.

Silence enveloped them, Alvin did not dare to respond to Alexa's expression of feelings, "Tell me, Vin. How do I like other people?" alexa's voice almost resembles a whisper.

"Hey, Vin! Don't stay there! The game is about to start!" livian shouted from the field. Almost, inner Alvin. He left Alexa without a 'yes' or 'no' answer'.

As if nothing had happened, Alexa watched the basketball game and shouted the name of her best friend to support them, as if she were a cheerleaders.

"Come, Jennifer! Go, Gabriella! I believe in you guys! You can do it! Gos! Gos! Gos! " iksa shouted nonstop, making several pairs of eyes look at her in wonder.

While Fiona saw the scene was approaching Alexa, "Chill out, Girl! Don't make yourself the center of attention" Fiona said, patting one of Alexa's shoulders.

"Eh, Fiona. I didn't see you coming." said Alexa with a stupid grin, "Just let them look at me, I don't care. They'll have eyes." continued Alexa with the rest.

"As much as you are, Levin!" reply Fiona, patting her forehead softly. Alexa just chuckles.

Jenny scored many times until the position of Jenny's team is currently ranked 2nd on the scoreboard. Right now Jenny's team is taking advantage of their break, "You are all so awesome, guys! The five of you make our class proud." said Alexa as she and Fiona approached their five classmates on the sidelines.

"You can count on us." Fred replied as he blinked one eye, making Gaby snort angrily, "Or rather: you can count on Jenny. Because of him, this victory became possible." replied Gaby cynically.

"Can you stop being childish? " typical Nick is no less cynical.

Gaby, Fred and Nick also argue with each other, not to forget Joe who also heated up their debate. Jenny shook her head while smiling, "Guys, stopped! The four of you will humiliate me with this pointless debate."

Hearing the leader's reprimand, the four members silenced each other, "We better get back on the field, five minutes more game against Alvin's team immediately starts." continued Jenny.

"Relations... What's?! You guys going up against Alvin's team?" Alexa made it clear what she heard.

Jenny nodded, "Yes. Who do you think finished first in this basketball game?"

"At least it wasn't Andy who was the leader of that team." Jenny subconsciously said out loud what she was thinking.

Gaby and Alexa are just plain. But Joe, Fred, Nick and Fiona, the four teenagers are confused and don't know how they should respond to Jenny, "What happens if Andy is there the leader?" ask Fiona.

Jenny looked at Alexa and Gaby alternately, hinting she was in need of help. Alexa nodded as if she knew what Jenny was saying, "You know for yourself that Andy is Gaby's older brother, which is why Jenny is grateful that Andy is not the leader." explained Alexa.

"Here you go, don't bother with that." Gaby chimed in, "We have to get ready for the match. Shall we's? " said Gaby let her four friends.

At first Jenny was fine when she bounced the basketball, but seeing Andy trying to block her from scoring made Jenny nervous and let Andy take over the ball from her.

"Jenny, what are you doing, girl?!" exclaimed Gaby annoyed while shaking her waist, she tried to catch her breath. Gaby's sweat splashed on her forehead.

"I... Oh my God! What the-"

Soon Gaby cut Jenny's words, "Nevermind. I'm the one who took the ball." he went after Andy.

The match between the two teams was very intense. All members of Jenny's team are overwhelmed to face expert Alvin snatching the ball and putting it into the basketball hoop.

"...and Alvin Turner again scored 2 points for Alvin and 0 for his opponent. It's so awesome!" exclaim the basketball commentator. Of course the commentator supported Alvin's team, probably because of Alvin's popularity throughout the WHS.

Seeing that things were getting worse for Jenny's team, Gaby gathered her four friends to discuss, "Come on, Bloom. We have no time to discuss. " Joe grumbled.

Gaby just rolled her eyes lazily, then looked at Jenny, "If you can't control your feelings, it's better to stay away from Andy during the game."

"But-"

Gaby did not wait for Jenny's protest, she went back to chasing the ball that is now in Alvin's hands.

"Don't worry, Gaby! I won't hurt you." Alvin said as Gaby approached him.

"Huh, I don't need you to protect me." Gaby replied, taking the ball from Alvin's hand and bouncing it. He approached the basketball ring and...

"Wow! Gabriella Bloom scored 2 points. It's beyond belief at the moment each team's point of the series." the commentator's voice echoed again, while Gaby smiled obliquely and looked at Alvin.

Both of her black eye beads captured Livian's whereabouts right behind Alvin. Oh no, why don't I pay attention to Livian's presence, Gaby's inner. Seen by her, Livian raised both of her thumbs to Gaby as if saying 'great job!'

Ugh, focus, Gaby! Don't let Jenny down just because of Livian!

Gaby shook her head, then smiled at Livian before continuing the next round, "This brat will be the decider. Will Alvin's team win again this year or will new faces fill those wins?" said the commentator again, making the spirit of Gaby more passionate.

Gaby took advantage of the opportunity. He snatched the ball from Alvin's team and bounced it until the sound of the ball echoed throughout the basketball court. The sweat that was pouring out was no longer ignored by Gaby when he would score the last point.

If Livian hadn't prevented it, Gaby's plan would have gone well. Because of Livian, Gaby's shot into the ring was a bit missed so the basketball hit the edge of the ring and bounced back towards Gaby.

Instantly Gaby's head felt dizzy and she was still in shock because of the hit by the ball. A second later, everything around Gaby went dark.

Alexa is getting ready for a ballet race at 13:02 this afternoon, "Just calm down, Alexa. You can do it! " Livian cheers Alexa on the umpteenth time for today.

"I won't let you down!"

Even Alexa had not had a chance to smile, Fiona went backstage where Alexa and Livian were, "You should have seen Bianca earlier." Fiona said with a laugh, while Alexa and Livian looked at each other in confusion.

"He fell down and sprained his leg." continued Fiona again laughing out loud.

Hearing Fiona's explanation, Livian started laughing. While Alexa glanced at the two of them with her flat gaze, "I'm surprised by you guys. Is it very funny laughing at a man who-"

"David Fiona! How dare you laugh at me?!" suddenly Bianca appeared and shouted hysterically.

"N-that's not what I mean, Bianca. I-"

"Guys, relax." Alexa tries to mediate, but Bianca pushes him to the point where Alexa almost falls. Luckily Livian was there to help Alexa adjust her balance.

"Thanks again, Liv!" Alexa stood alone. Bianca's eyes staring at the scene looked back at Fiona, "I'll teach you a lesson!" he said again then pulled Fiona's right arm and walked away from the backstage.

"Don't mind them." said Livian, "Focus on the race."

Alexa nodded, then went up on stage. All eyes looked at him as the floodlights were on him. He began swinging both hands and both feet dancing when the song 'Keep On Dancing' was played.

Alexa dances according to what she has learned from her instructor. When it reaches the end of the song, Alexa also performs a ballet movement known as the 'Pirouette Movement'.

Coinciding with the completion of the song, Alexa landed both of her feet on the stage floor safely. A clap was heard from the entire audience, and Alexa bent over the ballet dancers to thank them.
