The Strange Dinner Atmosphere

Afternoon at night with the sky that has been accompanied by the moon with its bright radiance. At the Varsha family home, Aurora prepares dinner for Diego as usual. The kitchen was a favorite for Diego and Aurora because it was there that they often spent time chatting, but there was a new scene in the house, the presence of Arion in the middle of the Varsha family is something that still feels strange. Of course, since both Diego and Aurora knew Arion's true vampire figure, having dinner with vampires was certainly not something Aurora and Diego had ever imagined.

In the dining room that becomes one with the kitchen, Diego and Arion sit together at the dining table facing each other even though the eyes and head of the handsome vampire is also richly focused on Aurora who is cooking. The line of Arion's lips was on the line with the gaze of his eyes that began to sparkle, it was realized by Diego and immediately made Diego feel uncomfortable with Arion's behavior, Arion, The mere princess of the puppet being stared at by a vampire figure greatly made Diego feel uncomfortable.

"Can you stop staring at my daughter like that, Arion?!" said Diego was upset

Diego won't give Arion a chance to stare at Aurora for long, the fact that Diego does not like Arion because many things that make Diego feel Aurora will not be happy when it comes to Arion.

"Heah... Diego, do you expect me to look at your old face?" timpal Arion with a satirical tone

Arion's answer certainly upset Diego, Arion is a vampire figure who looks kind and gentle only on Aurora for Diego.

"That's not what I mean!!" snapped Diego

cooking in a rowdy atmosphere would ruin Aurora's mood, she only cared about herself. And if Diego and Arion make an uproar Aurora will immediately stop them. Aurora did not want the taste of her cooking to be messed up due to her bad mood.

"I'm just quiet, but your father started this fight" Arion said

"I'm just asking you to stop looking at my daughter with that weird smile of yours!" timpal Diego

"Enough!! duuh~" cried Aurora

In the end, everything was silent until Aurora finished cooking, Aurora took her food to the dining table and served it on the table. Once neatly arranged, Aurora immediately sat down with Diego and Arion. It was silent for a while, until the sound of Aurora's breath could be heard breaking the silence in the dining room.

"Are you not eating, Arion?" ask Aurora

Dinner alone with Diego and leaving Arion who only looked at himself without enjoying the food he made felt so strange to Aurora.

"Vampires don't need human food, Aurora" replied Arion with a warm-looking smile

"He needs your blood, Aurora! we better get rid of it right now, who's gonna guarantee he won't attack you when night falls?!" timpal Diego is still with his attitude

"Dad, stop. If Arion wants to, he's been attacking me ever since. I'm sure Arion is a good vampire" Aurora said

"That's right Diego, don't mind my whereabouts" Arion said without burden after feeling praised by the girl he liked

"Where can it be!! huh! being in the middle of a vampire I never imagined my whole life!" diego snapped and he began to eat the dinner that Aurora had made.

The atmosphere of dinner at the Varsha family home was quiet and silent, only a few vehicles that happened to pass by and also the sound of people walking in front of the house. Diego is busy eating but his eyes are constantly staring at Arion suspiciously, while Arion still continues to look at Aurora's face with a smile full of meaning. Twenty minutes passed, Diego and Aurora finished with their dinner. Amidst the silence, Aurora slowly turned her gaze to look at Arion.

"Arion, there's something I want to ask you" Aurora chirped in silence

"Ask me, I'll answer as I can" Arion happily accepted Aurora's request

"Do you know where... Jerome's gone?" aurora asked, just then Arion's smile slowly disappeared but she just fell silent

Of course Aurora's questions leave Arion speechless, the vampire's jealousy suddenly reappears for his eternal rival as he feels he's been one step ahead since Jerome disappeared. While Aurora can't stop to think of Jerome whose existence she didn't know for a long time, Aurora believes Arion must have known Jerome's whereabouts given they were vampires.

"Why silence, Arion? do you know anything?" diego asked, the sound of Arion's breath sounded heavy.

"That's old history, but it's possible that he'll go back there to control himself" Arion replied coldly

"Where?" ask Aurora to press

Arion gazes at Aurora's face before finally giving the answer he knows, Arion feels that currently obeying all of Aurora's wishes is the right decision to draw sympathy towards her.

"In ancient times both clans had castles as gathering places for clan members scattered around the world, the castle was also home to all clan members" Arion replied

"The castle has a special magic that is active until now, which is why all the technology that existed until now could not be used to find the existence of the castle. I also do not know the exact position of the castle if using the world map, I went there using my instinct as a vampire" replied Arion

"How can I meet him?" aurora asked, hearing the question made Arion speechless as he turned his gaze to look at Aurora.

"A bad idea to meet him, Aurora. Right now I'm sure he's in that castle trying to control himself after receiving holy blood from you, if he fails then this world will be shocked by a murderous figure called a vampire. You should first understand how dangerous the action you took before, preparing for his arrival is the most important thing at this time" Arion replied trying to convince Aurora.

"I agree, Jerome could have lost control and he would have taken dangerous actions to prey on the humans out there. Right now only we know about what dangers are threatening humanity, it is only natural that we prepare with all possibilities" Diego agreed to what Arion said, for a moment Aurora was silent but clearly visible from the look on her face if she disagreed with Diego and Arion.

"Maybe you are right." murmured Aurora, the answer that went against her heart.

For Jerome, Aurora always relied on her feelings rather than logic. Her time with Jerome was too much of a good thing for them to do, even with the original vampire figure that Jerome never really made Aurora feel that Jerome was an evil vampire.

"Would you rest, I'd keep you in the middle of the night to watch Jerome attack us while you're asleep" Arion said sarcastically.

"What about you? are you not sleeping?" aurora asked with a slightly irritated heart, Arion's suspicion towards Jerome greatly irritated Aurora but she chose to hide it from Arion.

"Vampires don't need sleep, Aurora. Next time I'll tell you about our vampire habits in more detail, but I'm sure you're tired of it all" Arion replied gently to please Aurora.

"Yes, you strange creature. Good evening everyone" Aurora said as she tidied the dishes from the dining table and took them to the kitchen sink.

After taking care of everything, Aurora went to her room. Diego and Arion are still sitting opposite each other in the dining room, as if they are the same - waiting for Aurora to be around to talk to each other.

Arion with his unchanged appearance sat in the haughty style of the rich young CEO, even just to accompany a simple dinner at home belonging to Aurora alone Arion still wearing his suit fully. Sitting alone with Diego who shows a dislike expression does not make Arion intimidated.

"Is Jerome really going to attack mankind, Arion? I know you and him are scrambling to get Aurora, which is why I can't trust you" Diego asked relying on his instincts.

"That is the worst possibility, I don't know how powerful the influence of holy blood is for our lust to withstand the thirst for human blood. Never mind you, I am also a fellow vampire who is also worried about everything that happens" replied Arion

"Then what's your plan? taking refuge in the Aurora is not an option, is it?" ask Diego

"When pressed I might ask Aurora to give her blood even if it's just one or two drops, at least I have a power that is not far from Jerome" Arion replied

"You think I'm gonna.." Diego hasn't finished saying, Arion cut in.

"If so I will be killed easily by him and you will lose the main force to hold Jerome" Arion said, leaving Diego speechless.

Gaining a golden opportunity to step into the Varsha family makes Arion use his full abilities to make Aurora and Diego dependent on him.

"Remember only I can give Jerome the pressure, no human power can kill a vampire. I hope you can understand your position as food for us, the vampires" Arion said as he stood up from his seat

"Tu.. wait! where are you going, Arion?! our conversation is not over!!" diego snapped when he saw Arion walking to leave Diego in the dining room, but Arion did not care and continued to walk until the exit of the dining room.

Arion continued to walk into the living room of the house, where Arion closed the door and also locked it so that no one could enter the house. Slowly Arion opened the window and went out through the window, when Arion's feet were about to touch the ground - coming out the wings from Arion's back and he flew into the sky.

Like the speed of light, Arion flew with a powerful flap of his wings towards somewhere, a dense forest with towering, dark trees became Arion's goal that night, a slight refraction of light illuminates the ground in the forest that is successfully penetrated through the gaps of leafy leaves. The howling sounds of coyotes and many wild animals are clear to Arion who has a very sharp hearing ability. Out of shock, Arion immediately reacted to avoid the huge black figure. But Arion's speed was lost away from that figure and Arion was quickly caught and thrown into the ground. Arion also moaned in pain because of the impact of the big black figure, slowly the forest - the forest became a magnificent castle with ancient European nuances. Not only that, the mud land that was previously the place where Arion fell is now turned into tiles made of rocks.

"Would you come here?!" snapped the huge black figure at Arion

"I want to see how you are, Jerome" replied Arion

The big tall black figure was Jerome who was still in his half-bat human form, a burly body with fiery red eyes and also huge wings that seemed to flap - flapping that made Jerome not touch the ground at that time. Jerome was still unable to control his strength!!!
