The exhausting afternoon for Aurora began again, this time not her tired body but her mind. As Arion's words pierced through the defense in Aurora's head of her judgment of Jerome, Aurora's mind began to dilemma and thought through each of Arion's words carefully. Letting her logic play out and ignoring her feelings, Aurora Varsha closed her eyes in search of calmness.
"Who's worse, Aurora? I'm the one who just wants to rebuild my race or the one who wants to use holy blood to make him live more eternally than he should?" asked Arion still with his arrogant sitting style that pressed Aurora, Aurora felt worried at once.
Aurora's trust in Jerome is beginning to crumble, the true question of the good-natured vampire who has always been there for her and even that day has given her a beautiful gift as well as proof of protection to her is that the evil vampire is starting to rage. His heart wanted to refuse but the reality that Arion uttered was not something that could be underestimated. Aurora hates her day, which is more annoying than everyone who acts like a robot.
Watching Aurora and Arion arguing with Diego, Arion calls his daughter the girl who owns the holy blood, making him unexpected about the fact about his son. Diego realizes that it makes Aurora a target for the vampire race. Hearing Arion's question about who's more sinister between him and Jerome enrages Diego, none of them is good for Aurora for Diego.
"You're just as bad, I don't want to give up my son either to you or to Jerome!" somewhat snapping Diego answers Arion's question after previously only listening to Aurora and Arion arguing.
"You don't want to see Aurora get married, Diego?" ask Arion
"I want to see her get married, but not in a vampire race like you! Containing a child of vampires will certainly torture him, I do not want to see my son tormented" Diego replied firmly
No father wants his daughter to marry a vampire, and neither does Diego. His interest in the vampire world is only limited to finding the truth that the figure is real and exists in the world. "This book is a legendary book created by a human race that researches all things vampire! it's a book you lost hundreds of years ago, how do you have this book?" exclaim Diego amazed.
Seeing Diego with enthusiasm makes Arion like having a chance to influence Aurora through Diego. Arion knew very well the beautiful girl who owned the holy blood of his target was very loving to his father, a good opportunity to make Diego was on his side.
Arion.the handsome vampire who is very rich is always doing a cunning way with the power he has. He will not let anyone who gets in the way of his desire to get something he wants.
"It belongs to my mother and it's the only valid vampire book left in the world, where you can find a way to defeat vampires even if you're a human race. Because of the book there was a rare occurrence where my clan and the Jerome clan worked together to exterminate the book from the earth" Arion replied firmly without the slightest hesitation, arion sighed for a moment before he continued his story.
"The book was built by Jerome's grandfather along with a human, for the vampire race what Jerome's grandfather did was betrayal. For the treason, both clans handed down the punishment to Jerome's grandfather who was found guilty. It's the only clan-to-clan collaboration that has ever happened in the vampire world, Jerome certainly knows that history" Arion said
Hearing if the book has a way to defeat the vampires, Aurora is shocked. Information obtained by Aurora from Jerome is that the human race will never be able to defeat the vampire race, Jerome seemed to explain that Aurora can only resign when she became the target of vampires.
Jerome's anger with his true form in the hills that morning made Aurora suspect that it was only a proof that vampires were so powerful and Aurora would not be able to fight back, and the charade was performed by Jerome just as a tool to scare Aurora.
With her thoughts in mind, Aurora desperately wants Jerome by her side. Aurora hopes that Jerome can read her mind and prove that everything Arion says is a lie. Aurora still hopes that Jerome is a sincere and kind vampire, Aurora even hopes that Arion can have the same sincerity as Jerome. The battle of the two handsome vampires was not something Aurora wanted.
"What does Jerome say if your race can never defeat the vampire race? if that's true, then Jerome is lying to you" Arion chirped into a momentary silence between the three of them.
"Maybe Jerome doesn't know about this book" Aurora's chiming sounded like mumbling
The vampire's laughter echoed in Aurora varsha's guest room. Without responding to anything Aurora said, Arion seemed to affirm her answer with that laugh.
"Arion... Why did you give me this book?" ask Diego who's increasingly interested in vampire history.
"Because I want to have Aurora's trust, I want her to be my companion and if I'm anything like her... I want Aurora to have the power to kill me. Is that worth it, Aurora?" arion's reply sounded so sincere, Arion's sincerity increasingly made Aurora worried about who was actually having evil intentions on her.
Silence ensued, the three went silent for a while. Arion with his ambition to make Aurora believe him decides to give Aurora a moment to think, Arion believes Aurora is worried at the moment.
Arion now began to soften, his sentence began to be soft to be heard even the vampire's eyes were almost shady for Aurora. While Diego is busy reading Arion's book seriously, Aurora thinks about the woman's luck that handsome men are after. Of course it's a woman's wish, but if the target is a vampire just for the sake of the holy blood that the woman has is a sad thing.
"I.. don't know who is evil among you." murmured Aurora at that time, she was very worried about all the reality that happened in succession - also on the same day.
"I see, believing in a vampire is not easy what else you are human. But think about it - well Aurora, I'm sure you can sort out who is right and wrong in this case" Arion said, standing up from his seat, prepare to go home as it feels enough to convince Aurora.
"Aurora, I don't know what to say. But please don't stay away from me, I. feel the strange vibrations that are in my heart. said Danilson I. fall in love with you" Arion said at the time.
The love statement from Arion surprised Aurora, never thought in her life would be loved by a creature of different races like this. Arion is a vampire with privileges and needs that are certainly different from Aurora who is a human, Aurora should be wary of Arion because vampires need blood to survive.
"Arion.I won't stay away from you if you comply with my request." said Aurora, bowing her gaze.
Arion was happy to hear the opportunity that Aurora gave him even though Aurora had special conditions, but for Arion who had fallen in love with Aurora then any conditions would be met by him. At that instant Arion walked up to Aurora, knelt down, then clasped both hands of Aurora with both hands, the attitude Arion showed in front of Aurora made her surprised.
"Whatever Aurora is, just so you give me a chance to be close to you" Arion said
Arion's change of attitude leaves Aurora confused, from the beginning Aurora suspected that Arion would be furious towards her but when Arion knelt down and clasped her hand Aurora could not find an answer to Arion's attitude that turned soft on her.
"Eeh. ii. yes, listen to me, okay? I don't want any bargaining" said Aurora, but Arion nodded her head.
"First, I don't want to see you hypnotizing me for whatever reason you are. Second, I want to live a free life away from your control. You can meet me whenever you want as long as I am free, if you love me. I hope you show it sincerely, not in your own way" Aurora said.
Hearing Aurora's request makes Arion more happy because for him the conditions requested by Aurora is very light, but different from Diego who does not want to see his son close to vampires. Diego seems to disagree with what Aurora said, with Diego immediately holding both Aurora and Arion's hands.
"If he's any, Dad can teach me how to kill him, right? after all we have the weakness of the vampire race from the book that Arion gave us" Aurora replied without burden
"But.." Unfinished Diego said, Arion suddenly gave something that made Aurora's hand feel so hot.
Aurora pulls her hands together and is shocked to look at Arion, but Arion pulls back both of Aurora's hands and clasps them tightly.
"Ario!! what are you doing?!!" aurora Banging
"Ario!! don't be the same as my son!!" snapped Diego
But Arion shook and kept still while holding Aurora's hands, when it was so hot that Aurora's hands to the point that Aurora felt no longer strong enough to withstand the heat. Aurora violently pushes Arion to the point of throwing Arion into the wall, the sight of which leaves Aurora and Diego shocked. How could Aurora possibly push Arion so powerfully
"Uhuk.aah, well so. You already have the power to cast the vampire race, Aurora. At least you can hurt me with that power if you feel threatened by me or Jerome" Arion said with a slight moaning in pain, Aurora was surprised that it turned out that Arion gave her the power to fight the vampire race.
That was the way that Arion chose to further draw Aurora's sympathy and attention in order for Aurora to believe him, not only does Arion tell him how to defeat the vampires, but he also gives Aurora special abilities so that she has a chance to fight back if Arion or Jerome attack Aurora at any time.
After a little talk, Arion said goodbye to go home. Aurora expressed her desire to resign from her company now and asked Arion to act like a human in general, Aurora did not want to go back to see people influenced by Arion's hypnosis to spy on him.
Although Arion initially felt heavy hearted to accept Aurora's resignation request, but in the end Arion accepted the request. Aurora does not drive Arion and asks Diego to tell Jerome who is still waiting outside the house for him to come home, Aurora wants to calm her mind before meeting the vampires again. The morning after breakfast with Diego, Aurora bids to find a new job to support their family life. Diego asks Aurora to stay home and let Diego find a job. But because of his affection for the father, Aurora did not want her father insulted by people out there because of his thoughts about vampires that made Diego considered crazy.
His decision to resign made Aurora have to go back to find a job that is difficult to get. Until finally when it was noon in the heat so hot, Aurora finally got a job as a reporter for the local media there. Although happy, but Aurora must again start all her career from scratch.
With a hot side, Aurora decided to rest in a park with a glass of iced coffee to relieve her body heat that was felt to be excessive. Hoping that news would come to him, Aurora glanced right-left looking for something that might be used as her first news material after being accepted as a freelance employee of one of the local media offices.
But his eyes were fixed on a tree, where Aurora was like seeing someone hiding behind her. Slowly Aurora got up from her seat and walked up to the suspicious tree, Aurora circled the tree but she saw no one there. Until suddenly, Jerome came down from the top of the tree and surprised Aurora.
"Baaa!!" jerome shouted to Aurora
"Yahoo!!!" aurora shouted and accidentally slapped Jerome's face until Jerome slammed into the ground.
Jerome was surprised when Aurora's small, tapering hand was able to make him slam, for a moment Jerome was silent and looked at Aurora who was also surprised why she could make Jerome slam like that. Then he remembered the power given by Arion to him, it turned out that Arion really gave power to Aurora to fight vampires.
"Arion's power?" jerome asked as he tried to get up with a groan of pain
"I'm sorry Jerome, I didn't know that power would be permanent!" aurora said in a panic, Jerome gave a gesture saying he was fine.
"You're so nervous, I'm a reflex!" aurora said in an annoyed tone, Jerome just laughed at Aurora's annoyance at him.
Aurora behaves as usual towards Jerome, not even realizing that she should be wary of Jerome after the explanation that Arion gave. Being near Jerome always makes Aurora comfortable and safe.
It is hard for Aurora to believe that Jerome is an evil vampire.
"It's okay, I deserve it. I'm with you being accepted as a new reporter at a local media company, am I right?" jerome asked with a slight laugh
"Eeh.. are you following me?" suspiciously Aurora asked, Jerome shook his head.
"The satpam you work for is my friend, we both love paintings and I just happened to meet him during lunch break. He said there was an angel who entered to be a new journalist, an angel who became a journalist of course only you" replied Jerome
"really?" aurora continued to be suspicious
"Of course, I'm not kidding about the heresy." not yet finished Jerome said, Aurora cut in.
"It's not about that, but about trailing me" Aurora's chimpanzee sounded a little angry, for a moment Jerome fell silent and read what Aurora was really thinking.
"Don't try to read my mind, Jerome!!" aurora snapped, Aurora's anger making Jerome regret.
Nothing is different from the two, Aurora and Jerome are still two people who are comfortable with their closeness.
"Well, I was tailing you, but about my friend. He told me that there was a new reporter, I was only sure it was you because you said you wanted to escape Arion's supervision" Jerome said regretfully, Aurora sighed at Jerome's words.
"Why are you following me?" ask Aurora
"I just want to help you find the news like you used to" Jerome replied
"I don't need.." - timpal Aurora.
"Come on, Aurora. I've lived for hundreds of years and honestly I'm tired of living, you're the only source of excitement in my life. Can ya?" pleading with Pinta Jerome, Aurora looked at Jerome sharply and went back to thinking about what Jerome was planning for her.
But Aurora did not get any answer, in the end Aurora accepted Jerome's request because it would be beneficial for her. His new boss will surely be happy if Aurora can bring a lot of good news to the company, in the end today being the first point of Aurora's closeness with Jerome.
