A tense morning of several robbers at a famous private bank in the city center has not ended, gunshots are still heard clashing between the police and the robbers. Bullet shells so much scattered in the area outside the bank, dozens of parked police cars did not escape the attack launched by the robbers. Several policemen were seen lying covered in blood, the reporters managed to capture the moment from outside the bank area.

No less sad if you see the condition of the bank building which is a shelter for robbers, attacks through police shots aimed at the building to paralyze robbers. The result of the shot made the door, window, and plasterboard heavily damaged, the atmosphere was so gripping with the sound of alternating gunshots heard echoing.

At the scene of the crime, Jerome and Aurora are seen sitting leaning on a parked car not far from where the robbery occurred, they take cover from the possibility of stray bullets hitting them. But in the midst of the chaos, Jerome felt that Aurora could have been shot. Not to mention the fact that Jerome could not read the thoughts of the robbers, the oddity made Jerome unsure of being able to continue to make Aurora's position safe.

Usually every time a crime is committed and known to Jerome, he can always read the motives of the perpetrator with the special vampire abilities he has. Unlike the events of the day, there was not a bit of information that Jerome could read from the minds of the bank robbers who were not even known the number of perpetrators by Jerome.

"Aurora!! we're getting out of here!!" take Jerome by force, Jerome's hand pulls Aurora's arm and invites her to leave the place.

"Huh?! whyyy?! this is great news for me!!" timpal Aurora rejects Jerome's invitation

"This is different from the case we've dealt with!! there's something weird about those robbers!" jerome said a little screamed because his voice was covered by the sound of gunfire alternating.

"I have to keep covering it!! this can make me quickly move up the ranks!!" timpal Aurora is so stubborn

Having a new job as a journalist again makes Aurora ambitious to get exclusive news to improve her career. Whatever he thinks can be a field of money will always be breached by Aurora, especially the presence of Jerome who always protects and helps him in finding news makes him more confident to stay afloat covering the extraordinary event.

A moment after saying so, Aurora was about to raise her head again to point the camera towards the bank building which became a shelter for the robbers. Amid the noise of gunfire, Jerome still tried to invite Aurora to leave the place. Aurora doesn't hear what Jerome has to say until something unexpected happens.

A robber from behind a broken glass window shot a long barrel gun brutally, Aurora who saw herself also became the target immediately back down while protecting her head with both hands. Behind the car Aurora hopes she will be safe, but it turns out not when the robbers' indiscriminate shots are heard.

Bullet after bullet damaged and penetrated the various objects that were targeted, as well as the car where Aurora and Jerome were sheltering. Jerome saw shards of car windows slamming down on Aurora, the broken glass wounding Aurora's hand which she used to protect her head. Not wanting more shards of glass to hit the Aurora, Jerome swiftly carried Aurora away from the scene.

Actually Jerome could have turned into a form of vampire in order to save Aurora and bring Aurora away from the shooting location, but the number of eyes on the location made Jerome cancel his wishes. He could only protect the Aurora in a way as a human being.

"What are you doing?!! I have to take a picture!!" aurora snapped to Jerome when Jerome had taken Aurora far enough away from the dangerous place, slowly Jerome put Aurora's body in a grass in the middle of the park.

"Your hand is wounded, the robber is brutal! I can't let you be in such a dangerous place, Aurora!" tymbal Jerome with a clash as well

"That's why I let you be close to me!! if you can't protect me, why would I let you near me?!" aurora was furious at Jerome

"Aurora!! think safety!!" timpal Jerome also with a clash, Aurora immediately stood up to return to the place where the robbery occurred.

Just a few steps away, Aurora felt pain in both hands. When Aurora saw his hand, she realized that the broken glass had torn her skin. Jerome walked up to Aurora and clasped his hands together to check how badly Aurora was injured, how surprised Jerome was to see the many broken glass incisions that hit Aurora's hands. After seeing the wounds, Jerome's eyes slowly turned to look at Aurora's face with regret.

"Jerome.it's not your fault, you don't have to feel guilty like that" Aurora said as she felt Jerome's disappointment

"No. It's my fault, I'm by your side but you're still hurting.

"Jerome! that was unpredictable! you don't have to blame yourself like that! Aaaww.." said Aurora, the pain began to be felt in her hands. Blood also began to seep so profusely in each wide stroke, Jerome's hand holding both Aurora's hands suddenly shook.

The blood that flows from Aurora's body is blood that is different from other humans, blood is holy blood that if a vampire meal will taste very sweet even have the advantage of making vampires will be immortal. Jerome with the fact that he is a vampire is in big trouble seeing the blood coming out of Aurora's hands. The beautiful, jolly and kind girl he loved so much.

"Jerome?" chirping Aurora who felt that Jerome's body was shaking violently, Jerome immediately released Aurora's hand and turned to avoid eye-to-eye with Aurora. Not stopping there, Jerome even walked a few steps away from Aurora.

The strange attitude that Jerome showed in front of Aurora made Aurora ask - ask, what happened to Jerome until he was seen away from her and why she arrived - suddenly her body trembled. When Aurora wanted to get close to Jerome, Jerome's hand asked her not to approach.

"Jer..rome...you're fine?" aurora asked who was worried about Jerome's condition

"Aa.. I'm fine.." replied Jerome with a quivering voice.

"Be..really?" ask Aurora

"Don't come near!! i...difficulty to resist my lust because the smell of your blood is so delicious!! please stay away a little!!" jerome snapped so loudly, Aurora immediately shuddered at Jerome's words at that time.

Seeing the severe state of Aurora making Jerome regret the difficulty to help Aurora, the anger of her failure to read the situation that happened to the robbers made her angry. For the first time Jerome failed to become Aurora's protector and that left Jerome disappointed over her. The smell of holy blood was also not an easy thing for Jerome to conquer, now he had to fight with himself so as not to lose to his vampire lust.

As Aurora recalled that she had the blood Jerome and Arion wanted, her anxiety grew. Shadow that she would be eating Jerome suddenly implied, Aurora had a desire to run away and leave Jerome but her confidence in Jerome was not able to be tepis.

Jerome who chose to stay away made Aurora worry about Jerome's condition, seeing Jerome who shook violently because it held the appetite so as not to suck his blood made Aurora pity.  Aurora could only stand in silence while trying to cover her wounds, her eyes constantly staring at Jerome's back to guard if Jerome arrived to attack her.

"Bo. may I know what those two things are... Jerome?" tanya Aurora

"First, the robbers in the building had no thoughts at all, they moved like robots. I don't feel any emotions, no adrenaline, no mere fear. It was very different with the police who were their opponents" Jerome replied

Jerome's reply made Aurora immediately think that it was Arion's doing, but her thinking about Arion did not stop there. In her heart, Aurora asked about what purpose Arion had for bank robbery, while she was already rich for her own business by building the company GERVASO.

"I don't know what Arion wants if the people inside are Arion's men, or maybe we can conclude that they're under Arion's hypnotic influence" jerome chirps that answer the question in Aurora's heart, for a moment Aurora had forgotten Jerome's special ability to read the mind of his opponent.

"You can read someone's mind, too.?. or maybe because you're far from the robbers?" ask Aurora

"That can happen but usually I can solve it by focusing my ability on the one goal I want. For example, I can read the emotions of the police who were involved in the shootout" Jerome replied, slowly his voice began to tremble.

The face of a vampire with a human form now looks confused and disappointed, many questions that come to his mind. Jerome felt like he was being beaten with the failure he got that day.

"You've improved, Jerome?" aurora asked who felt that Jerome was not shaking too much, Jerome turned his body to look at Aurora.

"My vampire blood sometimes churns when it smells of human blood, I'm sorry I scared you" Jerome replied in a soft-sounding voice, Aurora can now breathe a sigh of relief.

"Then what's second, Jerome?" asked Aurora again curious, Jerome laughed and then stroked Aurora's head gently because now Jerome began to approach Aurora again.

"You. The smell of your blood made me unable to control my vampire appetite, but now it's fine. I'm fine already" Jerome replied with a smile looking at Aurora, Aurora's face flushed red getting the soft elution on her head from Jerome's hands.

At that time Aurora was only silent but her eyes continued to look at Jerome, not long before Jerome's hand he released from Aurora's head and turned back to look at the bank building where the robbery occurred. The sound of gunfire was still heard even though the intensity of the shot was not as dense as at the beginning, Jerome's forehead shriveled when he felt that there had been many casualties from the police.

"Jerome... What's wrong?" aurora asked breaking the silence between the two

"Aurora, this isn't a case you could possibly cover. You need to get out of here because I don't know what Arion's planning this time, there's been a lot of casualties. I must immediately resolve the mess that Arion caused" Jerome replied firmly

"You're sure it was an act... Arion?" asked Aurora who doubted Jerome's words, the question made Jerome realize if he seemed to corner Arion without clear evidence in front of Aurora. Jerome slowly turned back to stare at Aurora's face, with Aurora blankly staring at Jerome.

Aurora deliberately empties her mind so that Jerome answers her questions honestly, because Aurora believes that Jerome always answers everything according to the contents of Aurora's head. Whether it was to lie to her or to cover something up, but this time Aurora needed an honest answer from Jerome.

Jerome sighed after knowing Aurora had deliberately emptied her mind to test her honesty in terms of answering the question Aurora threw, with a smile Jerome looked at Aurora and prepared to answer as she was.

"You want to hear my answer without knowing what answer you want, right? you are a clever girl" praised Jerome at that time with a slight laugh, Aurora was annoyed to hear the praise because Jerome's words seemed to justify his suspicions all along if Jerome answered according to what he thought.

"There is no human being who has no emotion, if he has no emotion then the answer is only one, the person who was affected by Arion's hypnotism then he was the same as suspended animation and his body was controlled by Arion. That's why I suspect that Arion is behind this" Jerome replied trying to explain as much detail as possible on his suspicion

"But... Why did Arion do it?" aurora's audible question still doubted Jerome's words

"Kita will find out once I get valid evidence, I'll go inside to find out what happened and I'm asking you to go away from this place. I don't want you to be wretched, Aurora" Jerome asked Aurora

"But I can't let you take that dangerous path on your own." said Aurora, who was impressed to join Jerome in investigating.

"If this robbery was Arion's, I'm sure he'd want you to come in with me. If that happens it's the same as if we're trapped by a crude Arion trap" said Jerome, who is still trying to give understanding to Aurora who is so stubborn

"Then, let's run away with me!! you don't have to go inside" Aurora said with a slight clash to force Jerome

Although the couple is not a couple but the relationship between the two is so close, Jerome loves Aurora so much that he does not want to hurt the girl. Jerome even let go if his race went extinct in order to protect Aurora and did not want to give Aurora excruciating pain.

While Aurora who rarely has a close male friend because Diego who is so overprotective of her feels comfortable being near the jerome that she feels so sincere towards her. Although now worried about his condition due to his close proximity to the vampires that endanger Aurora, only Jerome was ever allowed by Diego to be close to Aurora.

"If I run away too, more innocent human lives will be killed. Only I can clean up this mess, understand Aurora" Jerome said, though Aurora's heavy heart finally wants to understand.

Jerome forces Aurora to promise that if she has to leave the place as far as possible no matter what, Aurora promises Jerome to leave. After tying the promise, Jerome asked Aurora to run away from the park. Aurora immediately turned around and was about to run away leaving Jerome there, but only a few steps Aurora turned back and looked at Jerome.

"Please promise not to push yourself" Aurora said, worried about Jerome's safety

With a nod of his head and a smile Jerome answered Aurora's words, after getting the answer Aurora turned back and then ran. Likewise with Jerome, with incredible speed when Jerome entered the bank building through the back door.
