Missing a Sunday filled with tension and fear of vampires, Aurora begins her day again on a sunny Monday. The day Aurora had to return to her office as the chief director. But Aurora is still afraid to go back to work, being in her room as if to be the only safe place for Aurora.
The fear is difficult to disappear even though Diego has done strict security for their home, now every corner outside the Aurora house looks full of silver lining. Being in the office with strange friends remains the thing that gives Aurora goosebumps, although her anxiety about Arion being a vampire is not proven. This makes Aurora reluctant to go to work.
"Aurora!! it's eight and a half, aren't you late?" diego asked Aurora with a slight shout, Aurora still did not want to get out of her room.
The voice Aurora had expected would be heard with the exact same sentence as her mind, but Aurora was still reluctant to get out of her bed. Aurora is already very familiar with Diego's behavior if she is always late for work.
"Haah, that kid, I told you I'd give him some weapons to fight vampires" Diego muttered as he walked to the second floor where Aurora's room was.
When Diego opens the door to Aurora's room, Diego sees Aurora sitting on the bed hugging her legs. His body was covered by a blanket and leaving only part of his face for him to look around, Diego was surprised to see Aurora covering herself with the blanket.
"Aurora, what's wrong?!" ask Diego to panic
"There's a daddy~ vampire!!" aurora replied in fear, Diego sighed as he walked closer to Aurora.
"If Jerome really wanted to suck your blood, he must have done it from the first time you met" Diego chanted as he removed the blanket wrapped around Aurora's body
"Yes, what?! I'm telling you, just let Aurora go out and make a lot of chances for that vampire to suck Aurora's blood. Is that?!" somewhat snapping at Aurora saying so, she sounded very annoyed at her father.
"Now, take this" Diego replied as he gave away some things made of silver
There was a ball - a silver ball, a small stick that was also made of silver, and lastly was a garlic spray. All of the objects are believed by Diego can make the vampire away from Aurora, with full doubt Aurora received objects given Diego.
"It can make you avoid vampires" Diego said so convincingly, but Diego's high confidence is not directly proportional to Aurora who seems so dubious of Diego's words.
"Dad...sure? he's a vampire, his movements can be very fast and invisible! he could have suddenly appeared behind me and then turned.." Uncompleted Aurora said, Diego cut him.
"It won't happen if your neck smells of onions!" diego's exclaims chimed in on Aurora's words
A silly idea from Diego managed to make Aurora upset, but Diego was also upset because Aurora still had doubts about everything that Diego had prepared well. Diego, who feels eloquent in dealing with vampires, is certainly very confident in his ability to protect Aurora.
"Dad want me to wear this garlic water perfume?!! aurora was so upset
"What do you want again, right? if you don't work, what will we eat?" timpal Diego sounds sad
"Dad really love me not really?!!!" aurora snaps so mad at Diego
After a debate between father and son that was so excited, in the end Aurora was willing to go to work. With all the anti-vampire equipment Diego gave Aurora, Aurora has the courage to step out of her safe zone. After saying goodbye to Diego and receiving little advice on the use of Diego's anti-vampire objects, Aurora walked with great caution to his office.
Aurora's body scent is now really the smell of onions after a few sprays of onion liquid he sprayed on her neck. Even so afraid Aurora also sprayed on all parts of her skin that was not covered by cloth, the reason the beautiful girl was difficult to think clearly. His fear makes Aurora like not a former journalist who has many references to any news.
Along the way to the office when Aurora did not see Jerome's whereabouts at all, she thought that Jerome was afraid to meet him under the scorching sun since he knew Jerome's true figure. Aurora could breathe a sigh of relief when she reached the front gate of the office, but that calmness did not last long as he remembered that today he had come home and passed the same path at sunset.
"Good morning Aurora" said one of the middle-aged men who worked as a building guard to Aurora, getting a normal greeting that made Aurora surprised.
"Huh? what did you say?" aurora asked in a shocked tone, for a moment the building guard who greeted Aurora fell silent with a confused face.
"I said good morning Aurora, is something wrong?" asked the man, Aurora was speechless staring at the building guard who was looking at her confusedly.
"Why? he is older than you, when he says hello it will be more polite if you reply as usual" a younger man who also works as a building guard chimed in the silence between the middle-aged man and Aurora.
"Huh? eeh sorry! I'm just confused! Good morning sir!" aurora
"I've told you, it's better not to greet him" the younger man told the middle-aged man
The words of the young building guard man made Aurora upset, all this time between the man and Aurora had a bad relationship. The middle-aged man only laughed a little while allowing Aurora to enter immediately, although he felt something was awkward but Aurora decided to think about it later.
Inside the building Aurora met her friends when she was a journalist, they greeted each other and asked why Aurora arrived to be a director. Amid the chatter between Aurora and her office friends at the time, it was so felt if the former boss talked Aurora behind him. The polite attitude that Aurora had been getting, suddenly disappeared just like the attitude that Aurora thought on the first day she worked as the main director.
Aurora did not respond so much to the slanted comments of her former superior, she decided to walk back to the main director's room after finishing chatting with her friends. Inside the main director's room, Aurora saw Revana standing with both hands folded and a sharp gaze.
"Morning... Revana.." said Aurora.
"What time is it, why did it just come?!" kind of snapped at Revana back then
"Huhuh? eeh I.." Aurora did not finish answering, Revana immediately turned her back to Aurora.
"Haah~, why did Mr Arion ask me to be your secretary? though I have painstakingly signed up to become secretary to Mr. Arion replacing Danilson, but my fate is now even working for young women inexperienced and in a small office like this~" it sounded sad and so sorry Revana said it
A new surprise for Aurora, all the strangeness in her coworker is gone. All returned to normal, although for a moment Aurora was a little regretful if she remembered the attitude of some people who did not like her would finally return she received. The day begins to be tinged with some annoying things, at least it's better for Aurora than having to work with a weirdo acting like a robot.
"Hey, you're young but already the chief director. What do you offer to Mr Arion? why is Mr Arion interested in you?" revana asked sarcastically, Aurora sighed while holding her forehead.
"I didn't offer him anything and I'm not interested in him, if you want you can just ask Arion to move you to serve again in Gervaso Tower" Aurora replied flatly
"God! not polite!! call Mr. Arion with the word 'master', you should also call me with the word miss because I am older than you even though you are the director here!!" revana Benthic
Amidst the conversation between the two, suddenly someone opened the door of the director room without knocking it first. Aurora and Revana turned to look at the door that began to open slowly, how surprised Aurora was when she found out that Jerome opened the door. Aurora's body immediately trembled, her hair standing on end, and cold sweat began to drench her back.
"Hey!! who areyou?!! as if to enter into.." Unfinished Revana said, Jerome looked at Revana with a sharp glare that was so terrible.
"Shut up and get out!" jerome snapped at that moment, Revana was instantly speechless and frightened.
Slowly Revana walks out of the room, Aurora asks Revana not to leave her but Revana is too scared to be there. As soon as Revana came out, the door was heard shut. Now only Aurora and Jerome are left in the room, there is only a window where Aurora can run from Jerome's catch but considering this is the second floor then jumping from the window is the umpteenth choice for Aurora.
"Ma... What do you want?!" aurora asked with a clash despite her trembling voice
The two are now looking at each other, the beautiful girl who owns the holy blood and the good-looking vampire is back to meet even though the relationship is starting to deteriorate. Aurora brings her fears to Jerome's face, which makes Jerome sad because he has no ill intentions for Aurora.
"I just want to talk to you, Aurora" replied Jerome whose voice sounded soft so Aurora wouldn't panic any more, regardless of Jerome's words immediately Aurora took out a small stick of silver and some silver balls that Diego had previously given her.
"Go you, Vampire!! I don't want to be your meal!!" yelling Aurora again
"Please listen to me, I'm not interested in sucking your blood. I just want to talk to you" Jerome said
"I don't trust you vampires!! you must be bloodthirsty right now, right?! why me?! why am I being nice to you?!!" still with a snatch Aurora said it
Every word Aurora spoke was always accompanied by the throwing of a silver ball at Jerome's body, all his strength he put in order to be right on target and able to make Jerome leave because he was unable to survive.
"Listen to me first!! I'm not.." Jerome said, Aurora threw the silver balls at Jerome.
The balls that hit Jerome's body made Jerome's body emit smoke as it burned, Jerome groaned in pain every ball the silver ball hit him. The more convinced Aurora is that Jerome is a vampire, the more fear envelops her.
The more brutal Aurora threw all the silver balls towards Jerome, but Jerome just kept trying to avoid all the throws without changing his position at that time. By the point Aurora had run out of silver balls, seeing that her weapon was up, Aurora thought of going through Jerome to get out through the door. Aurora threatens Jerome by pointing a silver wand at Jerome, but Jerome is still silent and asks Aurora to calm down with the gesture of his hand.
"Happy? now shut up and let me talk, okay?" ask Jerome
"No!! I don't want to talk to vampires!! get out of there!!" aurora answered with a glance
"Come on Aurora, I just want to talk to you" Jerome said forcefully, Aurora shook her head a few times and was seen crying.
"Please..~ please let me go. I don't want to be your meal." said Aurora with tears rushing out of her eyes, seeing the crying Aurora makes Jerome feel guilty but Jerome must still force Aurora to stay there and chat with him.
"I.. I should have believed Arion said. I should have left you and never met you again...? why are you being mean to me...? why Jerome? though I believe in you that you are a good person...why are you targeting me for you to make a meal...? you're evil." Aurora said it.
The tears of the beautiful girl who owns the holy blood make Jerome feel sad and disappointed by the fact that he is a vampire who managed to make Aurora fear will be a meal for him. Jerome recalls how his initial encounter with Aurora, the girl he helped, turned out to be the girl who was able to pass on the descendants of vampires.
Jerome is so sincere to be friends with Aurora, Aurora's kindness makes Jerome feel comfortable to always be on Aurora's side. But he could not avoid it when the scent of onion that Aurora brought managed to uncover his true figure, his disappointment was deep and Jerome wanted Aurora to realize that she would not make Aurora a meal so that she would survive in this human world.
Jerome regrets that he has been a source of fear for Aurora, but he resigned when his body felt the heat burn silver so that Aurora no longer felt that his presence was a frightening threat to Aurora.
"I'm sorry... Aurora..." Jerome's mumbling arrived amidst Aurora's cries at that moment.
Aurora who listened to Jerome's murmur was surprised, instantly her eyes steady Jerome who looks so sorry has made Aurora scared. Suddenly Jerome changed his figure into a human half-bat in front of Aurora, seeing the creepy figure made Aurora silent because of shock.
"Je..ro.me.." murmured Aurora in shock at the sight of the figure.
Jerome quickly moved forward and crashed into Aurora's body and hugged her and carried Aurora out of the room through the windowpanes, both of whom flew into the clear blue sky that morning. Because it was too shocked, Aurora could not do anything and could only resign if this was the end of her life.
Aurora's eyes looked blankly at the sky in the arms of Jerome's half-bat muscular body, the contents in his brain just when this was about to end, whether it would be very sick to die from being bitten by a vampire, whether it would be so sick to die from being bitten by a vampire, and what would his father do if he died....
All the daydreaming came to a halt when Jerome landed in the lush jungle, Jerome let go of his embrace and allowed Aurora to stand on her own feet. Jerome slowly took a few steps back and let Aurora see her true figure, and Aurora sat down as her legs were no longer strong enough to hold her weight.
"Congratulations..dwell...." murmured Aurora sounded so resignedly staring at her last days in the world.
