Chapter 48 Clarification Part 1

The atmosphere of the night was so quiet, and the clanking of clockwork sounds, accompanied the awkwardness between Rangga and Zira who were sitting opposite each other on the sofa in his room. Rangga took out the letter from his pocket, he bowed for a while before throwing out various questions that he had endured long enough.

"What does this letter mean?" Rangga opened the letter and placed it on the table.

Zira grabbed the letter and looked at it with a smile. "This letter should have been in the hands of Mas 4 years ago, but for some reason this letter was not sent." 

After putting down the letter, Zira was silent for a while and the look on her face changed instantly. The highlight of his sad eyes made Rangga who had been bowed to look at him with a look of pity. 

"I'll tell you everything from the beginning. It used to be.." Zira started telling her story.

Flasbacks

Six years ago, a year before the wedding of Rangga and Zira. At night when heavy rain falls with lightning, he comes home drenched. The bad feeling he felt from earlier proved to be true, he found his mother lying covered in blood on the cold floor.

"Mother! Mama! What's going on?" tanyanya crying while holding her mother's body.

The mother, trying to endure the pain, held her daughter's cheek with a smile. "Don't cry.." she said.

"What's really going on? Who did this to my mom?" ask again.

"Stay away from the man. ja-shun Rangga..," said his mother who was dying. 

The hand that touched Zira's cheek began to feel cold and fell to the floor, his mother's breath stopped as the lightning roared so intensely. 

An unforgettable night by Zira, took the life of her mother and made her endure such a deep pain. The burning hatred and resentment made him lose his direction and purpose in life. The betrothal he initially refused and already existed before his mother's death, he accepted in order to avenge his rudimentary revenge.

When he is married to Rangga, he plans to make the man fall in love with him and take revenge by breaking his heart. The revenge he felt was more painful and torturous than the murder to dirty his hands.

After Zira tells her why she married Rangga.  The man was silent and still looking at his face. Zira who tried to read the look on Rangga's face, could not guess at all what was on his mind.

"After knowing Mas and conceiving our son, I realized that I was wrong. Slowly I began to fall in love with Mas, and undo my plans. But unfortunately it's too late, he threatened me and forced me to leave you, "he said.

"I wrote this letter so that Mas did not feel sad, but failed because he was discovered. He who killed my mother apparently likes you and is always near us." said Zira.

"If what you're saying is true, why would he let us be together?" ask Rangga flat.

"That's because he wanted Mas to have offspring. He knew that he couldn't give me that, so he let me dissolve into an underlying grudge. She planned to get rid of me after giving birth, but failed many times."

"Why are you here now?" ask Rangga again.

"He lured me away from Mas, The love of my twin sister who lives here was dragged into his victim. He fell into a coma saving me from the hit-and-run he had planned" Zira said.

"After that I took up the identity of Love and lived by her name, because she had no intention of letting go of eyewitnesses, so she tried to kill the Love that was actually me, which was me, that's why I lost my memory and also evidence of his crimes" he said.
