Chapter 12 The Hidden Desire

The next day, in the early hours of the morning Love went alone on a plane back to his hometown. Rent a car and go to a store where he used to work part-time.

When it arrived right in front of the store, Love saw the store was closed. The shop building looked old and no new tenants were replacing it.

Love can only ask the store around him, but no one knows where the previous store owner moved. The information that you can, is just the fact that the store has been closed since 5 years ago.

Love stood in front of the store. He remained silent for a long time, wearing only a mask and glasses, unaware that people were beginning to look at him.

"Surprisingly.why do I feel, if there's something important I've forgotten. It happened 5 years ago, as someone had planned, and the owner of this store was the only clue left, and it went somewhere." 

The people around him had already started to realize his figure, but Love was still speechless thinking about his problem.

"Now how do I look for another clue" muttered Love.

Two school students were seen whispering. "That's love, right?"

"I think it is, but not that big brother anymore in Jakarta."

"I heard that Brother was in trouble while filming in Europe."

"Sst I want a picture of that brother first, ntar I uploaded it to my ig." 

Aware of his condition starting in the photos of people around him, he rushed back into his car and immediately moved to leave.

Tired of searching, he returned empty-handed. It was getting dark at about 8 pm and finally he arrived at the airport, the flight for 2 times made him feel tired.

Rangga was waiting for the arrival of Love, he deliberately came to take her back home.

From a distance they had already looked at each other, but Love ignored the man and deliberately sped up her footsteps to avoid Rangga.

"Hey why are you ignoring me? I came here on purpose to take you back home," said Rangga, following Love's steps.

Love ignored him and accelerated his footsteps. Finally Rangga grabbed Love's hand to stop him.

"Let go of my hand!" love with annoyance.

"OK I'll get out, but answer first why are you mad at me?"

Love tries to hold back its emotions. "Well, if you don't understand, I'll explain."

The people at the airport started looking towards the two of them. Rangga, who was aware of the condition of those who were being seen by many people, immediately brought Love into his car.

"Tu-wait, let go of my hand first" said Love.

On the way, Rangga deliberately stopped his car on the side of the road, to listen to what they had previously discussed.

"Explain to me now!"

The atmosphere was silent and only the two of them were in the car. Love felt awkward, because before he had never been alone with any man other than Rangga.

The first time they were both when Cinta was conscious of her coma. At that time Rangga carried him up to the bed because he fell while stretching. Remembering the incident made his heart beat uncharacteristically.

"Why are you quiet? Do you want to pull your words?" ask Rangga.

"Bu-not so. This atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable..," replied Shy love.

Realizing where the words of Love, Ranggapun also felt embarrassed and finally got out of his car.

After calming each other's hearts and minds, Rangga re-entered his car.

"Now explain, why are you mad at me? What have I done?" ask Rangga.

"It's just a trivial matter. No need to explain" he said.

"While trivial, I still want to hear it. Every problem must be solved well, if there will be no misunderstanding later." 

"I'm sorry I didn't know you were replying to that message. Look at this, I think you're just reading it." While showing the conversation on his phone, it looks just a message that he sent to Love, without any other reply.

Cinta also showed a conversation on her phone, where it was seen that Rangga had read the contents of his message but did not reply.

Rangga suspected that someone was fiddling with him, deliberately reading and removing messages from Love without him knowing. Ranggapun finally convinced Love that he did not read the contents of the message at all, let alone delete the message.

"Now are you still mad at me?" ask Rangga.

"If it turns out to be misunderstanding. There's no reason for me to be mad at you" said Love.

Smiling hearing his answer. "You're angry about that, do you like me?" asked Rangga expectantly.

"That's impossible, I'm not mad at you" replied Love with a red face.

"Haha but your face says another," said Rangga who deliberately teased him.

Love does not know what else to say, wrong behavior in front of a man is a new thing for him. "That-that's…." 

"Have let's bet with this, he likes me or not I'll know soon enough," said Rangga.

Rangga took the initiative to bring his face closer to the face of Love, as if to kiss her red lips. 

Love spontaneously bit her lower lip, while looking at the face of Rangga who was very close to her face. His heart was racing as if the man in front of him could hear his heartbeat.

"I think I'm right" said Rangga.

Ranggapun returned to his seat with a smile, while Cinta just fell silent. Crossed his mind. "Did I really like Rangga?"

Rangga finally drove Cinta home with a flowery heart. Feeling that the victory flag is in his hands and Randi who is his rival has lost terribly.

Arriving in front of the house of Love, because of shame he immediately went out without saying goodbye to Rangga and immediately ran into his house.

"Sister is home" said Tina.

Love immediately enters her room and ignores Tina and Razi, who are watching TV.

"What's wrong with Love?" mumbling Tina.

"Dad must have said something to mom" Razi said as he ate his snack.

"How does a kid like you know?"

"How does an adult like Big Brother, not know about that," Razi replied with a cynical smile.

"Ah this kid's way of talking, sometimes sucks," Tina thought.

Love immediately lay on her bed and covered her red face with a blanket. "What have I done." Kicking his blanket.

"He must think I like him. Why didn't I push him, he must have misunderstood." 

"But what's wrong with me? Just like that, I can misbehave in front of him."

Because of this Love forgot the reason he went to his hometown.
