Dara responded to the question by nodding.
Dara kept thinking about who this man was with her now.
Why did he ask his grandfather Faozan's house.
But Dara did not want to take a headache, whoever the man was he had promised to take her home.
“Come Sir.. Let's go in.” invite Dara on the middle-aged man.
The man just nodded.
Dara walked with the man.. The man followed Dara to walk towards the door.
“Asalamualaikum.” while saying sallam Dara enter the house.. Because the door of the house is open.
“Waalaikum sallam.” sounds authentic from the inside of none other than the voice of her Mother Faozan.
Dara continued walking towards the living room accompanied by the half-old man.
As soon as he arrived in the living room, he was seen by Dara, his mother-in-law was watching tv.
“Bu.” Call Dara.
That made her mother-in-law look straight over... And how surprised he was to find his son-in-law came with a half-old man.
So surprised of her.. Until not a word came out of Faozan's mother's mouth.
The shock was not only felt by Faozan's mother.. But the man who came with Dara was equally surprised.. Until his steps stopped.
Dara looked at her Mother-in-law with a deep frown.
A moment later Dara wanted to ask her mother-in-law what happened.. However, Dara did not open her mouth... The presence of the husband stopped all of it.
“Honey you have pul...” Faozan did not have time to finish his words because he was also as shocked as his mother.
Dara was confused by that.
Moreover, neither Faozan nor the mother spoke.. Each one just stared at the man who came with Dara.
To overcome her confusion, Dara tried to ask Faozan.
“There's a sich.. How like Mom when you see this father you are very surprised.. Do you know him?.” Ask Dara to Faozan.. But slowly and with heart.
“Not only know her Ra.. But I know him very well.” The answer to Dara's question was Faozan's grandfather who had just come out of his room after taking a bath.
Dara looked at her mother.. Faozan & the man alternately.
From the way Faozan stared at her Dara began to understand one thing.. There was a dislike towards the man.
Different from the look of his mother-in-law towards the man.. Her mother-in-law was more likely to look embarrassed.
There Dara began to guess her own hell.. That man is Faozan's father.
Dara also began to remember their conversation while on the way.
How the story of the man added again the gaze of his husband who looks not like the man.
Dara remembers clearly.. When they were still dating where Faozan was invited by his sister Vina to his father's house because it was Lebaran day.
Arriving at his father's house, Faozan did not enter at all, even greeting the father was not.
He was just waiting outside the house and calling Dara.. Dara's belief grew stronger that the man must have been Faozan's father.
Because Dara was just speechless with her own thoughts her grandfather Faozan began to ask.
“Where did you meet Johan Ra?.” His grandfather's question made Dara stop his thoughts.
“News his long grandfather.” sahut Dara later.
“Away will tell.. But can you all sit down first.” continued Dara again.. Because it was a shock that everyone just stood up.
Heard Dara's words.. Everyone started to sit down.. Except the guy who came with Dara.. He's still standing.
“Pak please sit first.” Dara told the man.
The man hesitantly began to sit down with a half-down face.
“ Gini cake.. This father had an accident in front of the hospital a few days ago, and the RS could not contact his family.. And when I asked this father he said his house in Mataram.. I can't take her that far.. That's why I brought him here.. So that Ozan can deliver him home.” explained Dara frankly.
“True people said.. In this world there is no such thing as a coincidence. Everything that happens is God's will.. Maybe if it is not like this until whenever Johan will never know if the woman who wants to help her is none other than her own daughter-in-law.” His grandfather Faozan started telling Dara the truth.
Dara looked again.. Look at that lekaki.. The man looked at Dara very closely.
In his heart he was very grateful that his son was married.. And got a really amazing woman.
“So Dara's his wife Ozan?.” The man named Johan asked Grandpa Faozan.
“True Johan.. She is Faozan's wife.. That means he's your son-in-law, too.. You are lucky because your daughter-in-law is a very good person. Otherwise you will never know.. if your son has been married.” explained his grandfather Faozan.
“My true father is very grateful because Faozan got a wife who is as good as Dara.. Without him I don't know what will happen to me.” said Faozan's father.
“Bapak need not say that.. This has all been the provision above.. But really I did not expect to meet my Father-in-law in this situation.” explained Dara.
Not a little was ever caught in his mind.if he would meet his father-in-law in the current circumstances.
Dara had asked Faozan to meet her father-in-law.. But then Faozan refused.
Of course Faozan refused because Faozan did not like his father.. All this time only contact him if there's a want.. And if he comes to his father's house even his stepmother was immediately angry angry fear if the child of her husband was willing to ask.. That's what makes Faozan lazy to his dad's house.
“Ozan do you really hate this same Mr. Mu.. Until the moment you get married, you do not tell Mr.”, said Faozan's father.. Looking at his son.
“Keep it bright, sir.. I never hated Father.. I just don't like the attitude of the Father who has always ignored us.. While when you need anything as much as possible we always try to meet the requests of the Father, including when you want to get married.Do not remember if the money you use is my money and sister Vina.. We sincerely give it to you sir.. But why every time I and Kak Vina there my wife always talk about us.. And you just keep quiet.. Even more defending the wife and son of the Father who was there.. What is the difference between us and the son of the father of the father's second wife?.” Faozan said firmly.. Even at length.
Faozan's words made his father speechless.. It's true that he's been unfair to them.
He works hard only for the wife and child of his second wife.. While the other kid is just he calls if he needs help.. If he wants to think clearly.. Vina.. Faozan & Rendy only grew up by her grandparents.. While his son from his second wife had intact parents.. Is that fair..
Which child will not be hurt if you have such a father.. It's not the same kid's name.. Both men and women want from the first wife or the second wife.
There is an ex-wife name.. But there won't be any ex-children.
Then why did his father forget all that.. Forgetting that the child needs the affection of his parents.
“I know even though I didn't experience what you were feeling.” Dara said as she stared fixedly at Faozan's face.
“I understand if you must feel very hurt.you were ignored by both your parents.Where at that time you all really need your parents.. But I often advise you.. Forget about your dark past.. Look at this moment.. You've proven that you can even without them.. Your mother is even with you now.. Then you can't do the same to your father.. Forgive and forget all.. Start a new page in your life with both your parents, although it is too late but at least your parents are still in this world.. God's mother still gives us a chance.. Just look at those whose parents are not sure many are sorry because they feel they cannot make their parents happy Dara continued to give understanding to Faozan.. Gently squeezing her husband's hand.
For a few seconds there was no reaction from Faozan.
For a moment he digested all of Dara's words.. A well-recognized truth by Faozan.
Yes, the wife is right.. As long as both of her parents are alive she should try her best to make her parents happy.
Faozan stared fixedly at Dara's face, then he smiled at a glance.. Dara also returned her smile.
“Still.” sahut Faozan later.
After saying thanks to Dara.. Faozan approached his father.
“Sorry Sir. if my words hurt the feelings of Mr.” said Faozan sincerely.
“The father must apologize for all this time has been unfair to you.. Your brother is even your sister.” saying his father Faozan hugged Faozan.
Dara took a breath of relief at the sight before her eyes at this time.
“Forget it all Mr.” replied Faozan as he was.
Then they let each other go.
“Sorry to Me.” Her mother Faozan began to say to her ex-husband.
“If only I had not been selfish.. Then our children will not be his victims.” continued his mother Faozan with regret.
“Not your fault in its entirety.” said his father Faozan.
“That was the fault of both of you who failed to be good parents.. But all that has happened will be better if you two improve yourself each.. And I just hope someday you two don't fail to be grandfathers and grandmothers to your grandchildren later.” His grandfather Faozan interrupted with those words.
“For Ozan & Dara.. Learn from your parents' mistakes.. Do not let your children will feel what is felt by Ozan.” continued his grandfather again.
“That Ozan has planted since he was a child.. He only has one hope that if he has a family later his children do not feel what he feels.. And as much as possible he will obey whatever the will of his son.” Dara who said that was Faozan's dream that he often expressed to Dara even when they were still dating.
“But Dara strongly denies loh kek.. He said it is not good if all the wishes of the child will be followed.it can make her spoiled and wrong way.”
“In this case Dara was right.. Being a good parent does not mean having to fulfill every wish of his child's child.” stressed his grandfather.
“Loh why?.” between Faozan.
How to be a good parent according to Dara?
