"Gift ... marry me!"
It's not wrong Andromeda said before, this obviously surprised Liz Nadiah.
Is that guy joking?
His pair of eyes moved to and fro, sweeping every detail of Andromeda's face - seeking the truth or just a joke.
And that's pretty hard to distinguish!
"I'm not kidding, Nadiah," Andromeda added as if he could read Liz Nadiah's expression. "I don't know exactly when that feeling came about." His eyes were still staring at the girl. "But obviously .. I've fallen in love. Fall in love with you."
Surprising for the second time.
And once again, Liz Nadiah was still trying to make a look - not yet willing to let out her voice. Because as long as he knew her, this man was always full of jokes. He was worried that Andromeda would suddenly laugh, if he took it seriously.
"I don't demand your belief in my feelings. I just need a little bit of your trust. I'm not playing a role. I really want you to be my sidekick, Nadiah."
Either because of Andromeda's increasingly soft gaze, or because of something else, Liz Nadiah was quite made to fret with that statement. A moment later, both of his clear eyes were dripping water droplets.
Andromeda was quite confused looking at him. "What makes you cry?" Next to his palm was raised sweeping the striped basins down on Liz Nadiah's cheeks.
Liz Nadiah shook her head thinly. "Andro, are you serious about what you're saying?" he asked without caring about the man's question before.
Andromeda smile. The hair that he combed neatly back looked shiny, although there was no sunlight highlighting, because the rain was quite heavy storming towards this afternoon. He began to lift his body, then slightly bent over grabbing the end of Liz Nadiah's shoulder leading him to stand up just like him.
"Only the magician can play with the invitation of marriage. And I'm not at all very powerful" Andromeda said.
The face that loomed before him was stared at by Liz Nadiah a little sour. Just asked, making a joke, he thought. What does a man have to do with marriage? This man ....
"So how? Are you ready?" andromeda asked for certainty.
Liz Nadiah should be happy with that. She is not the kind of woman who likes to talk.
At the thought of his decision, Kenan Lingga's face suddenly crossed his mind. Recalling how he rejected the man's marriage proposal a few months ago.
Then move back on his long wait for near the doctor's man in town. An empty wait, which seemed to be simply watered by attention - without certainty.
Then this time ... Andromeda .. how?
"So I'll agree!"
Liz Nadiah was flabbergasted this time. "W-what?"
"Yes, you shut up. It means you are willing to be my wife" Andromeda said with a slanted smile.
"But, Andro-"
"Alright, Nadiah. Tomorrow we fly to Canada to see my Momy and Dady." Without caring for Liz Nadiah's reply, Andromeda walked away, leaving the girl with a staggering face.
As the door closed from the inside, Andromeda fell silent for a moment. Tuck both palms into the pants pocket. Her lips flashed a funny, tickling smile, then seemed to turn into a small ruckus, as if satisfied with her act on the girl a moment ago. "I assure you, the couple in your marriage book .. It's just my name, not Kenan Lingga, or anyone!"
Another case with Andromeda, Liz Nadiah is still standing pat. Both of his hands were on both sides of his body. "Did I really accept Andromeda?" gamang.
Their introduction had not even taken many months in the calendar. He does not know exactly how the man's personality is. But ... why is he unable to say no, as firmly as when he rejected Kenan Lingga?
The goal has not been achieved until now.
"Tomorrow ... Canada ...?" Again Liz Nadiah muttered. "Will Andromeda seriously take me to his parents?"
Far away in the City S.
The black tuxedo complete with all its attributes, was still clad nicely in its body. The leaves on the paved road seemed to be scattered in fear, when the car driven by Kenan Lingga passed by at a speed close to the maximum.
"I'm sorry, Ma, Pa," he murmured grimly. "I had to do this. I just don't want to be stuck in a sorry cage later."
His expression was murky-between regret, dismay, and a flash of determination, packed in a single pulse on his face.
He just ran away from a meeting. The meeting between his family with the family of the woman he will be betrothed to.
His feelings suddenly chaotic, while tracing in the courtyard of a luxury restaurant that will bring him to meet the woman of choice of both parents.
Without thinking anymore, Kenan Lingga breezed away following his feelings without caring for his parents as well as the woman's family, who had been waiting for him inside the restaurant from an hour before.
One turn in front is tracked by the wheel of his car now. Then shortly stop in front of a one-story building that is straight facing a mini ball field. He stepped into the building after closing the door of his car.
Judging from its appearance, the building was like a base camp. Many scribbles are diverse, ranging from paintings to graffiti fill each wall. Cube-shaped wooden benches are placed separately at several points.
The flames inside an iron barrel greeted him in the middle of the room. Kenan Lingga threw his body on a mattress on the right side adjacent to the door.
"What brings you here, Doctor?" A man was sitting leisurely on a wooden bench not far from him, casually smoking his cigarette - smiling at Kenan Lingga who was clearly tangled.
With both hands he let it fold over his face, Kenan Lingga replied, "I just escaped."
The man smiled. Turn off his cigarette, which was only half left, to an ashtray near his foot. "It seems like your problem was quite weighty, until you came here in your expensive clothes."
"Don't make fun of me, Sam!" hardik Kenan Linga's. He then rose from his position lazily-sitting. "You can certainly imagine, how unpleasant it is to be forced to marry someone we don't expect." Followed by a rough swipe on his face.
The man with the name Samwise chuckled. "Looks like this friend of mine still can't forget that round-eyed doctor."
Kenan Lingga turned his head, looking at his best friend with a sharp look. "I think you're right, Sam."
Samwise walked casually towards him. He lowered his body and sat down with Kenan. "Did your gift belong to someone else?" tanyanya slightly turned to look at Kenan Lingga. Both hands he used to lock his bent knee.
Dark spray decorate the sweet level of Kenan Lingga. His palm stretched out to pick up a pack of empty cigarettes on the mat, which he then threw towards the flames. "I don't know about that, Sam," he added. "But a man asserted to me, that he and Nadiah .. will soon formalize their relationship in the marriage bond."
Samwise's forehead seemed to shrivel in response. "Will you?"
Kenan. "Yes, Sam," he said weakly and lowered his eyes. "But I'm not sure either. That guy is too mysterious for me to believe. And I'm also not sure if he's a good guy or not for Nadiah. I can't judge it with just one meeting. It was just a few moments before we spoke."
A smile returned to Samwise. His hand moved to pat the shoulders of Kenan Lingga field. "Make your disbelief a way to bring the woman back to your side" he suggested. "Take your gift back from him. Didn't you just say, that guy just said 'will'?"
Kenan Lingga nodded again. His head was still digesting every verse of Samwise's sentence. "That's right."
"Then it doesn't mean that your chances of getting it are closed" Samwise said. "Don't give in to uncertain circumstances. As long as the wedding ring hasn't tied them, you don't have to be afraid to fight for it."
Kenan Lingga's eyes were stunned staring at Samwise. His heart began to stir again. "You're right, Sam." Then turn his gaze to the fire that is not also extinguished in front of him. "I still have a chance" he muttered with a firm look.
"And you have to be fast!" sergeant Samwise is back.
"Yes!"
