Full Night

MY EYES stopped closing. Unknowingly, my blanket blushed. In half a minute, my consciousness recovered. Just a moment ago, I felt that there was an oddity that kept me awake from deep. Between conscious and unconscious, I felt the sound of a strange sound, the sound of the growling of a savage beast! Until a few seconds later, the voice was still clearly ringing, echoing in the batok of my head.

Once struck by curiosity, I find out whether the sound is really real or just the tempias effect of dreamland. I hurried to get up to take a sitting position on the bed. My eyes rolled all over my bedroom. There's no one. There are no signs of the presence of any form. This room remains the same. Not much different than when I slept for hours. Even if something changes, perhaps only the aura is no longer bright.

Wall paint that is usually bright, suddenly turned pale. The chandelier ornaments that adorn the ceiling roof of the room are still able to repel the darkness, but—tak as usual—nyala the light scattered by the arrangement of the bulb lamp looks bristling. As if emitting a grim and gripping feel. However, I hurriedly dismissed that negative assumption. Perhaps, it was nothing more because my sense of sight had not recovered properly after waking up from sleep.

Besides, lately I've been too bothered with the sending of threatening canned letters that I often receive from pranksters. I'm trying to mafhum because it's already a risk of becoming a big businessman. Long before, I have often received similar threats, and at the end of the day everything was just empty. But I still can't lie to myself. Such things always affect my inner peace, entering into my subconscious to create nightmares when I fall asleep. Goddamn bum. You prankster!

The wood on which my bed rests creaked as I turned my seat 90 degrees. Slowly, I lowered my feet, landing both of his soles onto the surface of the tile. The cold immediately welcomed the bare skin of my feet. The hot temperature that controlled my body due to sleeping for hours was not able to resist the cold attack to make my breath was held back to respond to the sting that almost froze the skin of the soles of the feet.

Presumably the weather tonight has been after spreading cold throughout the room. Although the air conditioner also took part, it is not wrong if I mention that tonight the air does feel bone-piercing. The condition was also echoed by the fact that the temperature of the warm tea that filled my stainless cup had considerably decreased. When my lips touched the foliage solution, it no longer felt the hot liquid header even though my airtight cup was previously in a tightly closed condition.

Hiccups for a sip of free tea flowed into my esophageal cavity. At least the taste and fragrance is still quite satisfying my taste even though the warmth has disappeared. Instead, the coolness that it transmitted to my esophagus was able to overcome the thirst that arose after waking from sleep.

After putting the stainless cup back, I bend my fingers to rub the two eyelids that have not fully opened. Although not much help refresh the view, at least it is able to remove the remnants of sleepy sweat that dries in the corner of my eye. My own eyes must be closed for a moment so that my fingers are more flexible to do so.

After cleaning my eyelids, I reactivated my vision, but suddenly my heart surged. I'm flabbergasted. A pair of my eyes that had just opened were wide. A mysterious, dark creature suddenly appeared a few feet away from my bed.

Once I blinked to make sure that I was not hallucinating, but the figure never disappeared. It just seems to be getting more real. Slowly, the creature moved towards me. The heavy clattering of her footsteps jerked my beating heart. His eyes lit up like a flaming circle of fire. His raised eyebrows grinned sharply at me. On his ten fingers, sticking out sharp nails that glittered reflecting the illumination light.

While cold sweat started to melt on my left temple, I once again tried to close my eyes. At least a moment. I still hope that figure soon disappears from my sight. Wishing the form I was witnessing right now was completely unreal. Then, on the count of three, I opened my eyelids again. Thank goodness my guess was correct. The creature was completely wiped out as if it had been swallowed by the earth, or perhaps swallowed by my recovering consciousness.

Relieved, my breath was also stretched. Feeling calmer, I immediately raised my legs back up on the bed, turned 90 degrees in the original position and prepared to continue the rest. My right hand was trying to grab the blanket that had blurred when I woke up from sleep.

However, ...

My heart was shaken again. From under the covers, the black figure suddenly appeared again. This time he was not at my distance. My shock turned to panic as the creature's hands floated up to my face. His sharp nails flashed clawing at my face.

In that position, I could clearly see the face of the creepy black creature. Whether it is my hallucination or not, the appearance of the creature clearly does not resemble ordinary humans. His jaw protrudes like a dog, complete with a gaping snout and fangs ready to prey. As he stood up, the creature went down the bed and stepped closer to me.

"WHAT THE FUCK? YOU WHO?" My mouth is not clear. While both of my arms were trying to shift my body away from the creature.

"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" I cried, with the highest intonation, hoping that the creature would fear like my pet dog.

That thing doesn't budge. It's getting closer. His slow steps were dragged. Getting close. It's getting closer.

"Please... Forgive me... I still have a family..," I began to wander when I realized that the creature was fearless. "If you want my money, take whatever you want... But don't hurt me...." My words were in vain. That thing still doesn't budge. His footsteps, which were only a few centimeters from my position, also did not want to recede.

I began to step down as he stood right in front of me. Again, in a slow motion, the nails that had tore my skin were lifted into the air. Sayup-dyed, mouth growling. The teeth clashed against each other.

Meanwhile, the cold sweat that melted all over my face was already as big as corn seeds. My breath's stuck. My mouth is tightly clenched. No more harsh words came out of my mouth. In a situation like this, there was no other choice for me, other than to close my eyes. At least I was expecting two possibilities when I re-opened my eyes. It disappeared back, or I was just dreaming.

Suddenly, I felt my throat suffocate. When I opened my eyes again, the creature's hand grip knew it had perched on my neck. In an instant, the oxygen supply in my body was obstructed. I felt both balls of my eyes barely pop out of place as the creature began to lift its grip on my neck. Inevitably, my body was also lifted. I tried to make a move that way. My feet were kicking in the air. However, it just made his grip even stronger.

My ears faintly heard the sound of my choking breath. I tried to scream for help, but all that was heard was the sound of snoring getting louder. While the sharp nails of the creature slowly began to penetrate the surface of the skin of my neck, slipping to block the respiratory path.

While going through the base of my tongue, I tasted an abnormal salty taste. My late-goal kiss smelled a pretty thick smell of carnation. Then, along with the next sound of my snoring, my eyes caught the splashes of red liquid emanating from my esophagus. Gradually, my vision began to blur, as if there were a cloudy blob lingering in my eyes.

When I was almost unconscious, the clutches of the creature's nails gradually weakened. Slowly, he lowered my body that was suffocating in the air. There was some relief when my feet again tasted the cold of the ceramic floor. Unfortunately, my knees are no longer able to support my weight. When the creature almost let go of his hand, I almost collapsed.

But somehow, I felt the same hand on my neck. This time, I could feel sharp nails piercing my esophagus. That thing doesn't seem to want to let me go. The grip that had been almost missed was actually much stronger than before. My body lifted back up. I no longer pay attention to splashes for blood splashes that increasingly wildly radiate.

I was resigned when the creature's left hand started to get involved. His palm landed right on my crown. With a single jolt, those fingers pulled tightly onto my hair and scalp. I could slowly feel the muscle tissue around my neck and my chin begin to stretch. While the nails that gripped my neck simultaneously moved around and…

KRAAKKKK!

My view was grim for a moment. Faintly, I saw a headless body that was soaked with fresh blood. The body grazed before finally falling down and fluttering on the blood-stained floor.
