The past of Flora

It's Flo's third day of college. I don't know what's wrong with my heart. Every time I don't see him there's less, but if he's around me I always make him sad.

Ever since the incident at the caffe she's always been haunting my mind. What always crossed my mind was just his bead eyes showing a lot of wounds. It felt like my heart ached to see him at that moment.

I don't know what this feeling is. But all I believe in is my pity for him.

I want to ask Reno what really happened. But he was always silent and since that incident it has been three days also I did not see him.

Yesterday I came to Flo's apartment but it was empty and the phone wasn't active. What the hell happened to him?

Why am I so worried about him. If he is not around I am happy.

I was shocked to hear Albert's new voice coming with Alex.

"Where's the news about Flo?" Ask Alex. I shook my head.

"Flo's three days ain't no news bro. The apartment is empty, the phone is not active. That's what Dave says." Said Albert.

"Cave knows." I said flat. I leaned my back against the back of the chair staring straight ahead.

"Well, where did you know?" Ask Alex.

"Lu. But you don't know a damn thing about Flo." Ketus Alex's. I just stared at him flat.

"Try asking Zack. Flo may be at his house." Said Albert.

O it's true. Time in the cafe was he who took Flo away.

But something made me curious. What's the relationship between Flo and Zack. Looks like they're close. And at the time of the incident at the cafe, Zack was very worried about Flo.

I called my High School friend who happens to be a cop too. And it's a coincidence that he knows Zack. I asked Zack for a contact and told him I wanted to meet.

I waited 15 minutes.

If it wasn't for the information about Flo I wouldn't have waited so long.

My daydream was rife to hear the sound and movement of the chair before me.

"Old sorry." Zack said very flatly. Apparently there are still people who are flatter than me huh.

"It's ok." I said and then I smiled.

"What's the cave." That's not a question. But the statement had no question mark in his sentence.

"Flo. The cave wants you to tell me where Flo is now." I said to the point . I don't want to talk much.

"Flo. Why do you want to know where he is. Aren't you glad that she's not in your life anymore?" Asked still with a cynical smile underestimating me.

The flashback

One of the most favorite High Schools in North Sumatra, to be exact. Flora Chatarina is a student who is loved by teachers and admired by many students there.

Flo is a beautiful girl and a very cheerful one. Flora has a best friend. Their very close friends have been friends since Flo entered First High School. His name is Reno Sanjaya.

At that time Flo was dating the son of the owner of the school foundation named Reihan Aditya. But not all students like Flora. Some people hated him and envied him. Until the painful event happened to him.

Reno hurried to meet Flo. Arriving at the class he approached Flora.

"Flo you know tomorrow I'm going to a basketball game to Surabaya. This is one of my dreams. I'm so happy." Reno said with great enthusiasm.

"Good congratulations Reno. I'm glad to hear that. You have to promise me. You have to go home with the cup and make our school's name even more famous." Flo said no less enthusiastically. While Zack was back there eavesdropping on their conversation.

"But there's something very important about this. And here you must like to hear it." Reno said which made Flo look at him with sparkling eyes.

"What?" Tanya Flo was very enthusiastic.

"Reihan wants to invite you to dinner to celebrate your two-year anniversary." Reno said with a fluffy smile.

"What's? Oh, my God, I'm so happy Ren. Did Rei tell you?" Flo asked with a very happy face.

"It wasn't Nadya who told me." Reno.

"Nadya?" Ask Flo ." I think Nadya may be lying. You know Nadya hates me so much." Said Flo. Her happy voice had changed with a grim face.

Nadya is a schoolgirl who hates and envies Flo. He's been almost always hurting Flo. Because she's jealous of Flo and Reihan's relationship. Luckily, Zack, Reno and Nathan are always protecting Flo. Nathan is the brother of Zack who also attended school there. Nathan's a year older than them.

"Ehh wait a minute. This is serious Flo. Nadya has changed. And you know I like it a lot. He said later after I got home from Surabaya and after dinner you guys finished me and he'll be." Reno.

"But Ren..

"Come Flo. If your dinner doesn't work out, I won't be with him. Trust me Nadya has changed. He couldn't have lied to me. Believe it." Reno says she's trying to convince Flo to trust her and agree to her plan.

"You know. This is one of Nadya's apologies because she has hurt you so much. He said he'd be very guilty if you didn't accept it. He's changed Flo." Say Reno again.

"But Ren. It's not that easy that Nadya changes. You don't know that he is..

"Yes already. If you don't want to. Maybe my wish to be with him was just a dream." Reno said with a very sad face and then she left Flo.

Flo could not bear to see Reno who turned sad. Indeed Reno really likes Nadya even though she is one of the evil schoolgirls according to Flo.

Flo feels very selfish if he does not grant Reno's request. He finally agreed.

"All right, I agree." Flo said to Reno who was already at the classroom door. Hearing that Reno was very happy and approached Flo.

"Are you serious?" Reno asked and was taken in by Flo with a genuine smile.

"Thank you Ata. You are my best friend." Reno said very happily and pinched Flo's cheek. Flo chuckled at Reno who was very enthusiastic.

"But isn't Reihan a basketball boy, too? Must he follow?" Ask Flo. Reno stiffened at Flo's question.

"Ehh mmm that. Reihan can't come because he wants to celebrate your birthday." Reno said nervously. Flo just trusts Reno. Because it is impossible for his best friend to lie to him.

While Zack in the back there just put his shoulder to look at the behavior of the two friendly people.

Actually, he was already very scared. He came alone while Reno had left this morning for Surabaya.

Flo saw a piece of writing and read it.

"Get in the warehouse."

There Flo finds no one. Only an empty, filthy and dark warehouse he found.

But there was still no sign that there was anyone else inside the warehouse other than him.

Until Flo heard the footsteps coming towards him.

"It must be Rei." He muttered very happily. The sound of footsteps grew closer to him.

And stop right behind him. Then the lights came on.

With a very happy look, Flo turned her body to face the person. Instantly his face turned extremely frightened looking at the person behind him.

The man smiled sinisterly at Flo.

"Haii's an unlucky carrier" the man said to Flo.

He's not Reihan or Reno. But he is Nadya.

"Na..Nadya.why are you here?" Flo asked nervously and trembling.

"I? Why here?"  Nadya asked Flo back in a very disgusting tone of voice and came closer to Flo. Stroking Flo's face gently but effectively was terrifying.

"I'm here to destroy your life, Flora." He said it was soft so soft that it made the feathers of Flo bristling.

"What do you mean?!!" Snap Flo. Who was already feeling very scared.

"Don't you dare yell at me goddamn it!!!" Nadya snapped with a tone of voice that was very echoing in the warehouse.

Nadya stared at Flo. Killing glare. There is no friendly look. Nadya's eyes were emitting vengeance.

"You damn bearer girl!!! Cheap girl!!!!" Impact again.

"I'm not satisfied that you took the man I love? And now you're taking the man I love?" Nadya turned her body and turned her back to Flo.

"You took everything." Nadya cried.

"You murderer!!!!" He shouted again and turned his body to face Flo and pointed at Flo's face.

"A.what do you mean? A. I don't understand." Nervous Flo with fear.

Four times in a row Nadya slapped Flo's face so hard that there was blood on the corner of Flo's lips and Flo fell down on the floor.

Flo's crying. That's very painful.

"You crying?" Ask Nadya gently.

Currently Nadya looks like a psychopath who is suddenly soft and suddenly creepy.

Nadya crouched down in front of Flo. Pulling Flo's hair and looking Flo's face up to her.

Nadya spit on Flo's face.

"You've drained my tears! You destroyed my family of animals!!" Nadya screamed right at Flo's face and took off Flo's coarse hair.

Flo could only cry. 

He didn't know what would happen after this.

"My mother?" Nadya asked then she stood up and took something from her pocket. Then crouch back in front of Flo.

Nadya pulled out a knife from her pocket. Closer to Flo's face and make a gesture around Flo's face with the knife.

"I told you I wanted to finish you off." He spoke softly with the knife still on Flo's face.

Flo was terrified to see the knife. His breathing was wheezing, and his body was trembling.

"Ja.don't fuck Nadya. I'll scream." Flo said with a trembling voice.

"Haha"

"Yells?

"Solicit please?"

"Haha"

"Don't you know this is a lonely place. There's no one here."

"I'll finish you off easily."

Nadyia stand. Flo was relieved.

"Please yell as you please."

"Yell.yell.hahaha" cried Nadya and then laughed.

"Now no one can help you anymore. Your cousins won't know where you are. Reihan he doesn't know about this." Nadya.

"Ja.so you mean?" Flo asked with a hoarse voice after crying.

"Yes! This is all my plan. I'm smart, aren't I?" Praise Nadya to herself

"Reihan doesn't know at all. Did you forget he had a basketball game with Reno? And your best friend it's too easy for me to fool. With a little lure he complied with my request. He knew Rei was playing. At first he refused but by giving a little pleasure he agreed to my words."

Hearing Nadya's words Flo's eyes widened. He did not believe his best friend who he strongly believed was the heart to lie to him.

"And now it's time for me to finish you off!" Nadya brandished the knife right in front of Flo's face to make Flo jerk in fear.

Then he clapped his hand three times. Four thugs appeared behind him.

"You guys please enjoy the body. Make him as miserable as possible." Nadya. Then he took a camera.

"Do it!" Nadya's orders.

Flo grew even more frightened as the four thugs approached her. He moved backwards in a sniffing manner.

"No.don't.don't touch me!" His shouting.

"Nadya I beg you!"

"Go you!"

Flo yells out in fidelity but is not cared for by Nadya.

The four thugs were getting closer to Flo. Forcibly tear the dress that Flo was wearing. They groaned on Flo's body as they pleased. Until Flo only use tangtop and short.

Flo kept thrashing. Yells. Crying hysterically.

"Enough!" Nadya.

"Why boss?" Ask one of the thugs. They're confused. When they are aroused even stopped like this.

Nadya closed the camera that recorded the incident.

There was a sense of relief in Flo. Because those thugs haven't snatched away his precious treasure. But the relief was only a moment after hearing Nadya's words back.

"The recording is enough. Just continue with you." Nadya then walked out leaving them.

Flo's getting scared. His body trembled as the thugs looked at him with hungry gazes.

"Don't.I beg you.don't touch me." Pinta Flo with a cry and a pleading face.

"Enjoy it, baby. You'll be hooked later." Say one of the thugs and tear off Flo's tangtop.

"Yahoooooooo!!!!!!!" Shouting Flo.

"Flora!!" Nathan's cry came with Zack. Then they took out the thugs mercilessly and helplessly.

Nathan approaches Flo who is still terrified. And covered his body with his jacket. Bring Flo from that place.

Three days Flo didn't go to school. And today he forced himself to go to school. But only shame that he got.

His photos and embarrassing footage were scattered in the school to make all students berate him. Says she's a cheap chick. And other harsh words.

Reno has not returned but Reihan has returned from Surabaya. The photo and the tape reached his hand he met Flo.

In the corner there Nadya laughed satisfied to see Flo's suffering.
