Unexpected Help

Flora p.o.v

Today I went home alone, on public transport.

Two weeks ago, after I went to college, I knew Nela and Dave, who took turns to take me home.

Actually I always refuse, but I can also go home alone? Returning to public transport is common for me who live and raised in a simple family.

But they always say."now that we're friends, that friend has to help each other and not share." That's what they always say.

Makes me tired of hearing it, and already memorizing their sentences is out of my head.

A pal?

Well, maybe I already thought they were friends. Moreover, Nela, I have never been this close to a girl friend, in school or the old campus. I'm traumatized, befriending women.

Back in High School I only had one boyfriend. Only one, from SMP we have been friends. But now I hate him so much. I don't want to remember the past.

Since then, I have decided not to know his name as a friend.

But unlike Dave and Nela, I felt sincerity in their hearts, I wish I hadn't picked the wrong one and told them they were my best friends.

Today they can't take me home, because Dave and Nela have important business.

Expecting Axel, it's only in the dream I guess. The one before I asked him to take me, maybe his swearing will drown me first.

The fiancee feels***** this is his name.

Or an unregarded fiance.

Painful indeed.

Sometimes I want to cancel this engagement, I don't want it either, let alone see Axel's attitude to me, it hurts.

but my heart always refused, and insisted on keeping this all. I don't know why, does this have anything to do with my promise?

Come on, I'll definitely live it, though,

May God bless me.

I stopped by the minimarket in front of my apartment eh errat apartment mamah Ambar I mean.

Want to buy a snack or something.

Employees in this market already know me, the color I often stop by here, sometimes once a day or once two days.

I'm their loyal customer.

When I came out of the mini market, I heard the sound of a crowd shouting at the corner of the store, there.

"Just let me know the taste."

"Let's just beat it up to let it deter."

"Still little have stolen."

"What will it be if it's big, you're weak!"

I shudder in horror, don't be the thief who has been in the thud, and a lot of blood is splattered.

I am honestly afraid of blood.

I was ready to continue my steps leaving the place.

But my heart ached hearing someone's words.

"I'm sorry.hiks.hiks. Don't beat me."

My heart was beating so fast, it was the voice of a child.

My eyes widened, my legs trembled. I don't think I can stand up.

But I fought all my fears.

When I hear the sound

"Let's just go get me. Don't be merciful!!"

Without a second thought I ran towards the crowd.

"Hentikatein!!!!!!!

My loud voice stopped them as they wanted to beat up someone they were crowding.

They looked at me,

I walked towards their crowd, as if understanding they were giving way to me.

My heart was beating unruffled, my breathing seemed to stop for a moment, my feet felt like jely that would be broken if knocked down when I saw the scene before me.

I can't say what.

I stared, with my hands shutting my mouth.

An 8-year-old boy in shabby clothes and torn, sitting on the ground his eyes were swollen, and the corners of his lips were bleeding and turning blue, his cheeks were turning blue, I think it was hit or slapped.

Most painful, his hands and feet were tied up like animals.

My heart ached and I saw all this.

God, what have they done to such a small child.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!! "

I screamed like a man in front of them.

Wreaking my grief and anger at this man who has no conscience.

"He deserves this! He stole, we should have taken him to the police station!"

Said a middle-aged mother.

I just shook my head.

"What did he steal?!!"

"He stole the Father's merchandise" said another man and pointed to the 45-year-old father.

"He stole my bread! That," the man pointed to a bread that was lying on the ground, as big as a fist and had been shapelessly crushed.

"I'm good enough not to report it to the police station!"

Proudly the man said it.

I'm so emotional, I feel like my face is warming up, maybe it's blushing like a tomato.

"It's good enough you say?!!! So proud of you!!"

I can't control my emotions, I really respect my parents, but if it's too much like this, it's not true anymore.

"What with two thousand money can you be full?!! What with two thousand money you can be rich?!! What with the money of two thousand you can go to heaven?!!"

The people there were shocked to hear my words.

"Why are you defending him?! Do you know him?!"

The voice of another, I don't care who's talking anymore.

"I don't know who he is. But I know him as a human being!. He is not an animal you should tie up like this! He's human just like you! Do you have no conscience?! Don't you have any children?!"

They all fell silent.

No one can answer my words.

"If you really never make a mistake, beat him up!"

No response from them.

"Why are you quiet?! Let's do!!"

I saw them shut up and put on an innocent face.

Cih, don't they have a conscience?

"No one dared to?! Now you get out of here!! GO!!"

I shouted to them.

They slowly dispersed and were no longer there.

My heart aches to see this poor boy.

He looked at me with a face full of compassion.

God, why would they do this to a child? "I asked in my heart.

Slowly I approached the boy, he was terrified.

"Don't you beat me, don't take me to the police station, will you please?????"

His voice that shook from crying, made my eyes glassy.

It hurts, I guess.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not evil, I'm just helping you."

I grabbed her hand, opened the rope that tied her hands and feet.

He just sees me.

Then, he suddenly seized the bread wrapper that fell on the ground that had been destroyed and not shaped.

"Thank you brother." He said, then he ran away leaving me.

"De, wait, where are you going?"

I chased.

I saw him enter a small, shabby alley, right next to the clinic.

She where? I asked in my heart.

Without realizing it, I kept following him.

I could still see him, entering a hut covered with a torn sack.

I kept walking towards that hut.

As I approached the hut, I heard a cry from inside.

"Mother, this is Adi bringing food for mother, mother eat yes."

"No son, you eat. You must have reported it, share it with your sister. I can hold the hunger."

A voice that was barely heard by me.

I'll give myself a look inside.

I cried seeing what was happening inside.

"Mother, why mother?, hiks, mother, why mom?" The cry of the little boy really broke my heart.

"Sir mom why are you shivering like this?" ask a little girl in the corner next to her mother.

They shook the mother's body.

I was surprised to see the mother shiver.

Without a second thought I entered the little hut,

"Why is your mother?"

At first they were surprised to see me. But not because I approached them anymore.

"Ga tau sis, my mother has been sick for a week" the boy answered my question with a constant cry.

"Let's bring some medicine." I said.

"No boy, you don't have any money." said the mother very weakly.

"Mom doesn't need to think about that, which is important healthy mother first. You have to think about your children, they're young, who's gonna take care of them later?"

"But son..

"Let's not think about it, let me help you." I helped the mother stand up, and swept her away.

"Sister, we're coming." Say the boy.

"Yes already. Come on," I said, and kept the mother out of their hut.

Thankfully their place wasn't that far from the clinic in front of my apartment.

We arrived in front of the clinic,

I am trained to touch that mother.

"Dok, doctor," I called the doctor, but no one said anything or came out.

My eyes were fixed on someone sitting inside the medicine window circle.

"Did he have no ears?" I asked in my heart.

I approached her with the mother I still had.

"Mba, please check on this mother. He's very sick."

My words are not in the least bit.

His eyes judged this mother's appearance with disgust.

"Are you deaf?" I said I was upset to see it.

"Ehh, this is a well-known clinic, this clinic does not accept padlocks like them" he said pointing to the mother and her children who were next to me.

Less acidic this guy, recently so the nurse is already cocky.

"What do you mean? Will it also be paid?!" I've been increasingly upset for this one woman, plus my already loose stirrup.

Makes my emotions increase.

"Where does the kingpin have money! Stealing?!!"

He was getting arrogant saying it.

This can't be kept quiet.

This mother is in more pain, and she's still playing with me.

Braakkkk

I hit the table in front of him.

He jumped in shock.

"How arrogant are you, where is the owner of this clinic!!"

My eyes glared at him.

He's like scared.

"What's this?"

The heavy voice of someone made me look back, and look like a man, dressed neatly, wearing glasses.

"I'm looking for the owner of this clinic." Saying to him.

"I'm the owner, what's the matter?" The man's voice sounded very smooth.

"Is this clinic for the rich?" I asked with a face that was already very irritated.

The man looks confused.

"No, there's ap...

His words came to a halt as the mother I had just grimaced in pain.

"A.aaduuhhh" the mother held her stomach.

"He why? Let's take it inside" the man looked panicked.

I pushed the mother inside, the man opened the curtain, I slowly laid the mother on the gurney.

"You just wait outside." Said the man I believed, he's the doctor.

I walked out of that room.

I approached the arrogant woman earlier.

"Ehhh mba, if anything happens to that mother, I'll sue you!" I said with a fierce tone.

Hearing my words and seeing my creepy face, made him look down in fear.

I don't like humans like this the most. So arrogant of him.

My eyes were fixed on the two little children standing at our place.

"You two, here." Call them and come to me.

I took them to sit in the waiting room, then I realized they were not wearing footwear.

It's so sorry for them.

"Sir, is mom good at the rhyme?" Ask the boy.

I smiled as I rubbed the heads of the two of them sitting to my left and right.

"You take it easy, your mother must be fine. You pray with God, let your mother get well soon."

They just nodded and prayed.

"Oh my God, I hope you're okay. Amen." I smiled seeing those who were so innocent.

Was I like this too, huh?

Suddenly, I felt like someone was watching me from earlier.

"You wait here first." I said to both of them.

"Where's brother? " ask the girl.

"Sister ahead for a moment, brother will come back again." They nodded their heads, and then I stepped out.

When I got outside, I saw someone behind me.

"He's still looking this way isn't he?" I heard him say that.

I was standing right behind him.

He was unaware of my presence.

"Reverse isn't it?" He asked himself maybe, no way to me, right, he didn't know I was here.

"Turn, ga,, back, back, ga..back, ga.back, ga.." I don't know how many times he said that while counting his fingers.

"Reverse aja, if the stressed girl saw the cave, he said a cave buy medicine." Instantly he chuckles.

Is he crazy, huh,

"Hehehe, smart as well as you Kevin." he tapped right at the end of his temple with his index finger.

Ohh his name is Kevin??

Suddenly he turned his body.

"Ehh,Setann!!!!" The screech.

He was shocked, and almost fell back because he found me standing right behind him.

"Lu!" I pointed.

He's the shitty guy I met at the dilift and by the side of the road yesterday.

"Lu said demon cave?!" I glared at him while shaking my waist in front of him.

"Ehh, no, stressed girl" he said stirred and then covered his mouth with his hands.

"What?! Girl stress. So you mean, that stressed girl cave? You nguntit cave huh?!"

I looked at him with a murderous look.

Why are so many people making me angry today.

Sucks.

"No, you PD really, I'm here to buy medicine." He said and went into the clinic.

My eyes follow his movements. He approached the arrogant woman, the woman was dumbstruck to see the annoying man. I admit he is handsome. Coupled with his glasses it adds to his good looks.

I heard he ordered medicine, after paying him out and passed me.

"You don't get too PD, I'm here to buy medicine. Girl stress." He said and ran away leaving me.

"Oh yeah!"  He just giggled amusedly at me who was half yelling at him.

I honestly wanted to scratch her face,

Basic guy line.

Yes I call him a line guy, the color has been how many times I met him, for sure he wears a line shirt.

Just watch if I see you later, let me go.
