Today, back home school me and Nacha promised to go for a walk. I want to spend some time with Nacha. If I can beg, I want time to stop so I can continue with him.
"Where are we going?" asked Nacha who was confused because from earlier my car around the city of Medan is not clear. In fact, Mr. Supri - the mama's personal driver - was confused by the direction of this unclear journey.
"Where's Nacha going?" I'm reversing Nacha's question. Honestly, I don't know where to go either. What matters is that with Nacha. Actually, Defa wanted to come, but since I didn't join, I did.
"Sir, let's go to the zoo." Nacha made his own decision and directly ruled over Mr. Supri.
Ten minutes passed on the way, and we finally arrived at the zoo in the Medan area. Once there, Nacha and I immediately took pictures with the animals. Many animals are unique. There were such a big lizard, such a big and creepy crocodile, twin monkeys, beautiful birds, and many other animals.
It's been two hours that Nacha and I have been wandering around this vast zoo. There are a lot of photos that we have taken as well. If calculated, already exhausted memory 1 gb contains our photos.
"Cap, cape. But I'm happy" Nacha said as we sat on the edge of the zoo park, unwinding for a moment.
Suddenly I remembered something, about the thing I wanted to tell Nacha from far away. "Cha, I have something to tell you."
"What?" reply later.
"I've got a piece about my past, Cha." I looked at Nacha deeply. "And I accept such a painful reality." My eyes sparkle.
"What a reality, Kay."
I took a deep breath before talking to Nacha. Actually, this includes personal secrets. However, the name of the friend should not keep a secret at all. Perhaps also, when I told this to Nacha, maybe he could help me finish it. "It turns out, I'm not the Ferrour family's son."
Nacha's eyes bulged and his mouth gaped. "Are you sure?"
I'm nodding. "And my real name is Samatha, Cha. Not Kayla."
"Where's the story?"
"At that time, I was traveling with Defa. I kept seeing mothers whose faces looked almost like mine. She called me 'Samatha' and claimed to be my mother. When I got home, I told him about it with my mom. And my mom told me about my true self. Right then, my head really hurt. My head is not ready to accept all this and my ears are not ready to listen to all the harsh realities. Because I was roaring in pain, mom and dad took me to the hospital. When I realized, it turned out that the woman who claimed to be my mother was already beside me again."
"Oh..," said Nacha, swinging his tone slightly. Nacha understood my explanation. "He's got a story about you in the past?" inquiringly.
I shook my head and raised both shoulders. "Nothing."
"Oh yes, Kay. Why are you amnesiac?" ask again.
I nodded and shrugged both my shoulders. I really don't know why I amnesiac. All I remember is that I was in the hospital and I met two people who I thought were my real parents. "I don't remember, Cha."
"Try later you ask Aunt Kesya or do not Om Kevin. Maybe they know," suggested Nacha who I then replied with a nod.
Our conversation came to a halt when we heard the sound of music coming from my stomach. Yes, the worms in my stomach are already playing gongs and protesting for food. Being too excited to go for a walk with Nacha, I forgot about my breakfast. Nacha who heard the sound of my stomach laughing held back amusedly.
"Hehehe...." I'm afraid to endure the shame. "I'm sorry, I forgot breakfast."
"Hahaha.yeah yuk yuk eat," he asked as he pulled my arm. "We ate at a farmhouse near here, yes." Nacha looked to the left. His eyes were on me. I just agree.
--o0o---
Me and Nacha have finished eating the food in the Padang restaurant in a matter of minutes. How not? The food here is really delicious. The thick spicy taste increasingly makes doyan eat. Indonesian food is much better than food from any country. The worms in my stomach that asked me to eat, now it's peaceful. Maybe he fell asleep because of the glut.
"Ga-pa-a, Cha. Let the past pass."
"I'm sorry, Kay." Nacha. His face indicated that he was truly sorry. "Promise, it won't happen again."
I put on a happy smile. "Oh yes, Cha. How are your parents?" Then, I remembered something about the Nacha family.
"Mama and papa are officially divorced, Kay. And the trial starts tomorrow." Nacha started telling stories. "Maybe it's the best." Then he smiled. His smile was truly sincere, without being forced.
I'm out of words. Don't know what word I should have told Nacha. So I just answered with a smile.
"By the way, when you entered the UKS because it was bullied, Defa really waited for you there?" ask Nacha who changed the subject.
"When I woke up, I saw Defa sitting next to my bed. But, you know where?" manyaku.
"From kids whose hobbies are gossip. He said, Defa skipped class just for the sake of waiting for you to realize," said Nacha who made my eyes round wide. "It's so good that it's a kid." Nacha said fiercely. It was as if he really hated Defa.
"But I think he's really good, Cha," I said defending Defa.
"Kay, black and white is the perfect blend of colors. Do you know why?" Not that she answered me, but Nacha asked me a question. I answered the question with a sledgehammer, because I don't know why. "Because every good person must be tucked away in a little bit of evil. There's not a really good person, Kay," he continued.
I don't get it, why doesn't Nacha ever like people who do good to him? That time Frans - our classmate - gave his meal during the fast break - because the teacher at that time used the break to give an unresolved explanation. But Nacha refused. In fact, clearly Nacha's stomach has sounded.
"Cha, why don't you like to see good people?" I said in a probing tone.
"They're all hypocrites, Kay," he replied exasperatedly. "Good up front, the edges are asking for rewards." His tone began to twinkle.
I rolled my eyes, "You got a problem?"
"May I tell you a story?" he said calm himself down and I replied with a nod. "I used to be betrayed by people. He did good to me in the beginning. In the end, he made use of my wealth. He made friends with me just because of my parents' money and work. When he was satisfied, he left me alone" she said gently but felt heavy and painful. "Ga is just that. A lot of good people, but behind him tell me my bad. He also often scapegoated me with people" he continued, closing both of his eyelids with the aim of holding back his tears so as not to fall.
"But everybody ain't rich gi-"
Nacha immediately opened his eyes, "Everything is the same, Kay," cut him deftly.
I snorted annoyed that my words were cut off. "Why do you want to be with me? Am I not good, huh?"
"You're different, Kay." Nacha looked me in the eye deeply. "I don't see any bad intentions for you."
"If suddenly I'm like the person you divorced earlier, how about it?"
Teeek...
Silent. Nacha didn't answer my question right away. He sat. But then, he said, "That means you're evil. You are adding more and more hurt to me. The old wounds haven't closed and you've added them." Then, Nacha looked at me. "But I hope you're that way, Kayla." She smiled sweetly and looked me in the dark eyes.
I looked into Kayla's eyes too. Our eyes meet and clash. "No, Kay. I promise I'll be your best friend. I promise you, I won't hurt your heart or add to your wounds." I blinked my left eye and gave my ring finger in front of my body and Kayla's body. "Promise."
Kayla greeted by sticking her ring finger on my ring finger. "Thank you, Kayla" he said with a sweet smile.
