Lara's Frame

Lara's Frame
UKS

My eyes opened slowly. I looked at each side of the small and adem room, as well as the white color everywhere. The room is an easy target for students who are lazy to learn and pretend to be sick in order to sleep.

I turned to look at someone who was asleep next to my bed. The one who always makes me happy. Yeah, he's Defa.

"Wake up?" Defa gasped and straightened his body as he felt my finger gently stroking his hair.

I sat down and I noticed the details of Defa's face that had just woken up from her sleep. Funny and adorable. I thought I wanted to kiss him, but where could it happen.

"I'm sorry, yeah, I didn't have time for nolongi lo." Defa's eyes emitted regret. "They're all really jerks," he said later.

I smiled a little, "Ga nothing." My eyes glanced at the wall clock plastered on the UKS wall. It's 11 o'clock. And that means, I'm lying here for 4 hours. My clothes have been replaced. "Who's taking me to the UKS?"

"Sarah, and friends. They were caught with teacher bk because it was already bully lo. They were punished, bring you to the UKS and change your clothes. They were also suspended for a week" Defa said.

"Skors a week?" I repeated some of Defa's explanation and turned it into a question.

Gts ... Gts ... Gts ...

Defa has not been able to answer my words, there has been the sound of knocking people from the door outside the UKS. "Yes, come in." The man entered when he heard the words of the UKS guard. And it turns out, he's Mr. Bolet, the principal.

"Are you sober, son?"

I smiled, "Already, sir."

"Father needs to have a four-eye talk with you, Kayla." Without further ado, Defa immediately left me with Mr. Bolet both in the UKS.

"What's up, sir?" I'll talk up first. The eyes of Mr. Bolet who originally looked at Defa's back again looked into my eyes, when Defa's back was lost swallowed by the UKS door.

"Bad wants help. Please don't tell things like this to your parents, huh? It will be a long affair, if you tell me. Don't be afraid of Sarah and her friends anymore. They have taught me a lesson and have been suspended for a week," said Mr. Bolet menguebu.

"Aren't you afraid to punish Sarah?"

"What are you afraid of? Papa Sarah also strongly agrees that you do this. Which parent defends his child, if he is clearly wrong? No parent wants their child to be ruined by too much pampering and defending." Mr. Bolet spoke as if he were speaking.

"Father please, Kayla, don't tell your parents about this incident, yes. Fearfully, they misunderstood. Could be a danger with our school's good name later." The headmaster looked at me pushyly, "You can, right?"

"alright, Sir. Kayla promised."

Yeah, maybe it's better that I don't tell my parents. The good name of Sinar Bangsa is very good in the eyes of the community, will tarnish its good name if the case about me is circulating. After all, surely mom and dad will be very worried about me. And I was afraid that later I would be transferred to another school because I thought this school was not suitable for me. Adapting to a new environment is difficult. I'm starting to adapt here. Well, even though it can be a terrible incident like this, but I still do not want to move from Sinar Bangsa school.

"All right." The man looked at his smile. "Then you stay first, yes. You just rest then." Mr. Bolet moved from his place, leaving a small room that the wayward disciple thought was like the heaven of the world.

My position is back lying down. My irises looked straight at the ceiling of the UKS room. Empty views. I was thinking of something that I thought was very strange about today's incident. Suddenly the figure of Nacha appeared in my delusions. As of now, Nacha has not seen me in the UKS either. I'm more sure, if he's really mad at me. But I don't know what my fault was with him, because he never told me anything. He suddenly changed, making me feel more guilty.

Although the lesson lasted another hour, I was still allowed to enter the class. As I sat down, I saw Nacha who didn't seem to care about me. Don't ask. He saw him rarely.

"Nacha..," called me as Nacha was engrossed in seeing Mr. Beni's explanation - the IPA teacher - on the board.

Nacha turned towards me, "What's the matter?"

"Everything's fine, right?"

Nacha frowned. Signs yes, but between hesitation or confusion. Then, he again saw Mr. Beni's explanation.

"Shh ...." Reina hit me slowly on the shoulder. I turned my head, looking at Reina who was sitting behind me. "So you're in the same bully as my genk kids huh?" whispers lirih. Scared to sound killer teacher, Beni sir.

I'm nodding.

"Ooo...." Reina's body position retreated backwards. Return to an upright sitting position.

An hour had passed, and the bell came home. The other students came out of the classroom like ants whose nests had been touched.

Nacha immediately rushed to tidy up her belongings and left the classroom, without speaking a single bit to me.

"Nacha, wait." I hurriedly cleaned up my things and caught up with Nacha. But nil. He was far away and no longer chased. The road is so fast. His path almost resembles running small. Like someone in a hurry.

"Go home?" The tall man surprised me. Yeah, as usual, Defa's in front of my class. Waiting for me from earlier.

"I'm picked up, Def."

"Yes, the road together to the parking lot." Defa pulled my arm and took me walking towards the parking lot. So many dislike looks were pointing at me. "So what did you say, Kay?" Defa's eyes pointed back, looking at me as he walked.

"Say a secret about this incident with my mom and dad."

Suddenly, Defa's steps stopped. And I almost hit his tall body. "Why?"

"What more reason if not for the good name of the school? I don't want to make my mom and dad worried, especially if my mom and dad move me to another school" I reply fiercely.

"Keep... You don't want revenge on that guy?" Defa wrinkled his forehead, raising one of his eyebrows.

"Revenge is not good, Def." I'm reviewing the smile. "Let God sleep. Let God act with what is best for them."

Defa shook his head, and it seemed that his eyes were showing a pushy look. Are my words wrong? "But there are times when we have to repay the actions of those who have corrupted us."

"If we retaliate against the actions of our evil ones, what function does karma have? Don't humans believe in karma?"

Defa freeze. Her lips tightly clenched. Then, he pulled my arm and walked back.
