LAST NIGHT'S DECISION

Dana took the phone that she had put on the table. He lazily opened the lock screen that was clearly plastered in front of his eyes.

"Woman," Dana read the name that was there. The phone that he had earlier ignored the appearance of a phone from the Cloud. Dana then opens the incoming contact and finds several messages from the same person.

Dan Cloud, I'm gonna have a little chat. Please come out, I'm in front of your hostel.

Cloud Dan, please pick up the phone. I know you haven't slept.

Cloud Dan, I'll wait here until you get out.

The message from the Clouds really surprised him. How could the man now be in front of his hostel. He then peeked out of the window curtain. Clouds are still standing in his car. Dana closed the curtain when she saw the clouds looking at her.

The woman's heart is like a beating. He was worried whether he should go out to meet the clouds or not. He kept thinking hard. Sometimes he bites his lower lip because of anxiety and nervousness.

Dana finally decided to go out to meet the Clouds. The man standing outside looked at the sound of the gate opening. She looked at Dana coming out of her room.

"And?"

"Why Wan?"

"You haven't slept?"

"Not yet, it's been sleeping, just waking up." The clouds only nodded in an understanding sign.

"And, I'd like to apologize for that. I shouldn't have missed it." Dana looked at the regretful face of Cloud.

"That's it, it's not your fault either. I called you, I should be the one apologizing for pushing you."

"I don't want to come because Iyan Dan." The Cloud's words suddenly made the woman shocked. He did not understand the words of the cloud.

"Then because of what?" ask Dana to the Cloud.

"I don't know Dan either. I just follow my heart. I feel like God gave me a lot of clues if indeed you were the one who was destined to be with me."

"I think this is a very sudden decision Wan." Dana looked at the man who was still standing in front of her. Honestly, he felt something strange about himself and the clouds. But Dana's still not sure about it. Dana doesn't want to make rash decisions about the couple.

"May I ask you something?" ask the Clouds to Dana. The woman simply nodded hearing the Cloud's words.

"Do you hate me so much that you can never open your heart to me?"

"It's not like that, Wan. You know if I just broke up with Vishnu's sister. You also just broke up with Rachel. You want to build another house on a foundation that just collapsed? I need Wan time. I think you need time too. Not because I hate you. I just want to be friends with you."

The silence between the two is so painful. The clouds did not respond to the woman's words. Dana looked away not looking at the face of the clouds. His brain keeps thinking about the glut he will take. Dana took a deep breath before continuing her words.

"Yes, I want to try it Dan. There's no harm in pleasing mom." He said he wasn't sure about it.

"Okay, I hope this won't backfire on both of us Wan." Dana looked at Cloud's face seriously. He also doubts his decision. But, he did not want to close all the possibilities that would happen just because of his past.

"Go home, it's late." Dana said to the Cloud. The man just agreed. Dana then went into her dorm without waiting for the Clouds to leave first. That night, they seemed to take a very short decision without thinking about the consequences they would get.

The next morning, Dana wakes up as usual. He deliberately left for the office early because he had to survey to his new client. This time, his client is not a company but rather a person who is quite respected who hires his services to become a consultant on his taxes. He is an old client from Rindang.

"So Lita's really sick?" Dana called Lita who was on leave that day. His co-worker took his permission due to illness.

"Yes Dan, sorry? I really can't get in today, I have a fever." Dana is concerned about Lita's condition. Sometimes he heard the woman coughing. There was also the sound of Lita's voice that was like hoarse because of her flu.

"Yes, brother, no papa. I can handle it myself. Lita just rest, huh? don't forget to eat and take the medicine." Dana hung up her phone after saying hello to Lita's sister. He then rushed to the client's house.

Today he boarded an office car parked in the company garage. He can wear it when there is an outside task. Dana was really amazed at the house in front of her when she arrived.
