TOUGH DECISION

In the evening, he had dinner with Vishnu. He was picked up by the man at his hostel. It was like a special day for both of them. All this time, Vishnu had never invited Dana to dinner like this. He often eats with Vishnu. But, it was just lunch or dinner after they got home from the office.

"Beautiful" said Vishnu to the woman who was now standing in front of him. Dana wears a dark blue dress with a necklace accent that is coiled around her neck. He was wearing heels not too high and carrying a small bag that only fit a cellphone and a small wallet. Its plain look actually makes it look elegant.

Dana felt grateful to buy the clothes she wore last year. He bought the shirt for a dinner with one of the companies when he first worked in his office now. After almost 2 years of hanging in the closet, the woman finally wore it again.

The woman walked into Vishnu's car. Vishnu opens the car door for Dana. It made the cheeks of the woman in front of him meet red.

Upon arrival at the place that Vishnu had ordered, Dana and Vishnu sat in the corner of the place. Vishnu had ordered Dana's favorite drink. He also ordered the best menu in the area.

"I ordered a different meal this time." Dana just smiled at the man. He was completely hypnotized by Vishnu's attitude towards him.

The two of them then ate dinner and chatted a few things. The waiter at the restaurant gave them dessert.

"And, I want to talk to you about something."

Vishnu took something out of his pocket. Dana turns her eyes to see the red box Vishnu gave her.

"What's this?" dana asked the man sitting in front of her.

"I bought this 2 months ago when we went to the mall together." Dana frowned hearing Vishnu's words. He opened the red box. Inside is a necklace that Dana saw 2 months ago. Dana didn't expect to get the necklace from Vishnu's sister. Dana smiled happily accepting it.

"Actually I'd like to give you this on your birthday next month. But I wish I could still give this to you." Dana doesn't understand the words of Vishnu's sister.

"This may be the last gift I can give you, Dan."

"What do you mean by Vishnu?" Dana still doesn't understand what her boyfriend said.

"I want to end my relationship with you." Dana looked shocked and could not believe what she had just heard. His mind was still digesting because it was so out of logic. He wondered why Vishnu said such a thing.

"Why? what's wrong, brother?" Dana looked at Vishnu still with a confused look.

"I can't tell you why Dan." The woman's smile instantly turned into a disappointed look. The thing he feared was repeated. Vishnu left her for no reason.

His heart that had been healed by the presence of Vishnu again instantly shattered into pieces. For a long time he had kept his heart only for Vishnu, when he had become accustomed to solitude, Vishnu came to shake his heart again. Opening the heart that he has long been locked. Now, however, that fellow destroyed it once more. The same person who had scratched the wound on his feelings a few years ago.

"You're playing me? Not funny brother!" Dana was really disappointed by Vishnu's words.

"No Dan, I'm serious about you." Vishnu looks frustrated and sad about the situation he is experiencing. The woman smiled bitterly looking at Vishnu. Dana's gone from that place. Vishnu then chased after the woman.

"I'll drive you home." Vishnu prevented the woman from leaving.

"Please!"

"And?"

"I don't want to see you again, brother!" Dana brushed off Vishnu's hand.

"Dana" the woman began to cry. The woman kept away from Vishnu.

"You lied to me! you said you'd never leave again. You say you love me? lied sis! Breng*ek!" Dana's still walking away from Vishnu. The woman was looking for a taxi passing by the side of the road. Vishnu follows Dana to explain the problem.

"I have my own reasons Dana, horrified me first."

"What reason?" Dana looked at Vishnu's brother disappointed."Why silence?" Dana restrains her anger and disappointment in the man in front of her. His heart was torn to pieces to find that the man took him to this place just wanted to say the word separate.

"My mom is sick Dan. I have to take care of Mom." Vishnu is still chasing Dana again.

"That doesn't explain anything, sister, is your make sense to break this relationship because your mom is sick?"

"He wants me to marry someone else." Vishnu began to cry. "I'm sorry Dan."

Dana stopped her steps. He turned to face Vishnu.

"Why didn't you say! I always tell you whatever problem I have with you, brother, why don't you say something as important as this to me? What am I doing to you?"

"I don't love that woman. She's far away from my mom and, at first, I didn't want to marry anyone. I don't want to put my family on anyone else. If it wasn't for mom, I wouldn't have married Dan."

"So why are we dating?" Dana increasingly does not understand the words of Vishnu.

"I love you." The man held the shoulder of the woman in front of him. Dana's heart ached hearing that. How could the man say something that he thought was impossible.

"I don't understand the way you think! So this is why you don't want to recognize me in your mama?"

"My family's complicated and I don't want you to take it too." The man tried to give Dana some understanding.

"I don't care how complicated your family is Nu! I'm the same as you, which means I'm ready to accept all the consequences. Because I love you. Do you still not understand that?" Dana put on her word. Vishnu's eyes stared sadly at the woman in front of him.

"I'm sorry Dan" That's the only word that Vishnu said.

"Is that the girl I've seen?" Vishnu answered Dana's question. The woman could not resist her sadness. He sat on the sidewalk, crying. He could no longer look at the man in front of him. Dana covered her face with both hands. Vishnu squatted to align his body with the woman.

"I'm sorry I hurt you again."

"How can I forgive you, brother?" Once again, Vishnu hurt Dana's feelings. The woman was incessantly crying.

"Maybe the mother said. You don't really love me." Dana ventured to say that to Vishnu.

"I love you."

"If you love me, you will discuss this as I am not even mutusin I am kayak gini sis. All this time I've always held you in front of my mama. But how are you? I wanted to meet your mama, what did you say I was? A fella? All this time I've been trying to understand your situation. I have never asked for you before. "I got the answers to everything, brother." Dana wiped away the tears that had flooded her cheeks.

"You said you were getting married to obey your mother? Do it, seek heaven. Follow your mama's will. I'll also find my paradise." Dana stood up and left Vishnu who was still not struggling. Dana's blocking a passing taxi. His heart was sliced to find that man had to leave his life once more. But this time, it was not Vishnu who left him. This time it was Dana who released the man.

Dana releases her first love. The first love that made him close his heart tightly to other men.
