Chapter 62

After the early morning incident, Jemima could not fall asleep, after cleaning himself and tidying up the room he used, he waited for Gerry in the living room. Gerry drove his car to a nearby mall from his house. The mall that just opened its operating hours looks still quiet from the visitors.

"Koq to the mall sir, anyone want you to buy?" jemima asked confused

"Eat first before turning afraid of traffic jams and hunger on the streets" said Gerry, looking at Jemima.

Gerry walked first as they headed for a restaurant. "What do you want to eat?" ask Gerry to Jemima

"See you" said Jemima

"Ehmm what, sir ? yes already to the restaurant that I usually eat aja yes" Jemima saw the Chinese food restaurant that he used to visit with Dira.

Jemima walk first and towards the restaurant he sat first on the corner of the wall and followed by Gerry who sat next to him, not usually Gerry sitting next to Jemima, but Jemima is ordinary because he knows his boss is not interested in him.

Their food order came Jemima ordering fried rice and Gerry ordering fried noodles. Jemima was already preparing to eat his meal when the spoon that went to his mouth diverted Gerry to his mouth.

"Your food is good" said Gerry, nodding his head to enjoy the food from Jemima's hands.

"Mr want me to put it on your side?"

"No bribe just like you" said Gerry who continued to enjoy fried noodles in front of him.

"Oh yes, I just change the spoon" Jemima did not refuse if Gerry wanted to spend the fried rice because it was a large portion.

"No need to waste water, use your spoon only" said Gerry Cuek, but Jemima felt a little strange about the nature of his current boss, but Jemima still carry out Gerry's orders until the food runs out on both plates.

After that they continued their journey back to Jakarta, several times Jemima's phone rang. Dira's name appears on mobile screens, and Jemima always rejects the call.

"It's okay koq, later" Jemima immediately put his phone in the bag and looked straight ahead.

"Think of your boyfriend?" asked Gerry curious all this time he was eager to ask about who is Dira, a name that often appears on Jemima's phone.

They arrived in front of the alley of Jemima's house, he deliberately asked to find out in the alley next to his house, so that Gerry did not know exactly his house.

Jemima makes sure that Gerry is gone and he walks to his house. Exactly in the middle of the alley of his house saw a group of mothers who were gathering in front of one of the Mothers' houses.

"Just come home at this hour Mama Dira, overtime continues yes, delivered by who all" said one of the mothers who was sitting there.

"Mama, Daddy read new books. Daddy brought 5 new books, Ma later tonight Mama read 1 book that has not been opened" said Dira enthusiastically recounting the reading read by his Daddy.

"To the apartment now yes, I no need, important!" instantly Jemima choked and made him cough because of his boss' request. It was not enough yesterday they stayed together and today had to meet again, but what power he could not refuse because of the commitment during interwiew that time.

With a heavy heart Jemima responded to Gerry's request "Yes sir, wait for me there" then turned off his phone and looked at his son with guilt for having to go take care of his boss.
