Chapter 5: The New Job

" Hi everybody. Mommy's home." Angelina.

Angelina immediately asked to come in and Vania saw the whole family of her birth mother was gathered in the family room.

And of course the presence of Vania invited a sharp gaze from all of them.

" Who is mam?" Ask Vishnu. Angelina's husband.

" This is my son pa."

" The son of an irresponsible man? why did you bring him here why didn't you let him come along with his father?" Ketus Vishnu's.

" Papi don't be like that I gave it to people when I was in the hospital and it turns out that person called me and said that he was not expected to be there anymore so...."

" So you brought her here, is this house a child's shelter?" Ketus Vishnu's.

Vishnu then moved from his seat and entered the room.

" Wait here." Angelina.

" Aika, Aya. Friends of Vania."

" Hey..." Speak to both without looking at Vania because they are focusing on their respective gadgets.

Angelina soon follows Vishnu and persuades Vishnu to accept Vania.

" True, you used to say that you had aborted your womb because you didn't want any seeds from that irresponsible man, but now all of a sudden you're coming with a kid who's about the age of our kid?"

" I'm sorry Mami, Mami didn't have the heart to kill life so Mami raised her alone and gave it to someone else when Mami gave birth to her into the world." Angelina.

Vishnu sounded a long sigh.

" Let him stay here, the count can help with homework so we get a substitute for the maid we just fired because we can't pay her." Angelina said with a smile and hugged Vishnu.

" Good idea."

Angelina then came out of the room and immediately met with fania who looks silent because Cantika and Kanaya are busy making video calls together with their respective lovers.

Angelina shook her head to see the behavior of her two daughters and invited Vania to go to her room.

" Vania, I'm sorry for the time you slept in the maid's room because the room above is leaking and still needs to be renovated." Angelina.

" It's okay mom." Vania.

" Yes now you rest and from tomorrow you no longer need to work in that bakery."

" Why?"

" You just focus on your lecture and before college you help mom clean the house and prepare food for this family's morning and evening meal." Angelina.

Vania slightly did not understand the meaning of the words from her mother but only smiled and nodded her head.

Vania then arranged some of her clothes and put them in the closet and then prepared for bed.

Her morning...

As Angelina had instructed earlier that Vania had to help Angelina prepare food for the family so Vania got up early and waited for Angelina in the kitchen, she said,

But there was no sign of Angelina going down and coming into the kitchen.

Vania then opened the refrigerator and saw that some food was already available there so Vania decided to cook first while waiting for the arrival of Angelina.

However, until Vania finished cooking Angelina did not come and instead the whole family came together when Vania was finished arranging the food on the table.

Vania just smiled wryly because Angelina was just plain ordinary without apologizing because she did not help Vania.

Actually, Vania did not bother about it just that Vania was a little disappointed considering Angelina herself who said that Vania had to help Angelina but here Vania actually did her own work.

" Vania, now you make coffee for Vishnu sir, tea for mom and also warm milk white and chocolate for Cantika and Kanaya." Angelina said as Vania would sit down and enjoy breakfast with them.

" All right." Vania finally got back to her feet and turned around in the kitchen to make the drinks they wanted and arranged them on their side.

" Tomorrow you don't have to wait for me to make breakfast you just make breakfast according to the ingredients in the refrigerator and don't forget to provide this drink." Angelina.

Vania just smiled, then Vania was confused where to sit because the chair at the dining table was only 4, and was filled by all of them.

" Mr.."

" Yes?"

" Where am I sitting?" Ask Vania.

" Ah yeah sorry yes, there are only 4 seats so you just wait there after we finish eating new you can eat." Angelina said with a smile.

Vania only let out a long sigh then returned to the kitchen and sat down on the seat that was near the window.

Soon after, Angelina came and approached Vania.

" Vania after eating you wash the dishes and clean the kitchen do not forget to sweep and mop this house twice a week. Clean the room upstairs." Angelina.

" But mom, Vania's got a lecture today."

" You can definitely clean the whole house before you go to college. Yeah, I've got to go take the kids to college." Angelina said as she passed away leaving Vania.

Vania walked towards the table and really saw that there was almost no food left for her.

Vania took the remaining bread and gathered the remaining food to cover the hunger she had been feeling since.

Vania then did as Angelina ordered.

When Vania had cleaned the room occupied by Angelina and her two children Vania accidentally opened one room on the 2nd floor and saw that the room was fine.

" didn't Mom say that the one remaining room needs to be renovated but it seems like this room is fine there is no leaking roof or things that need to be renovated. Hmm yeah maybe there's some property that needs to be replaced before Mom allows me to occupy it,." Vania.

After making sure all the houses were clean Vania then prepared to go to the campus but before that Vania went to the mesh place to pick up her motorbike using an ojek.

" Van, how does the family of the biological mother take you well are you treated well by them?" Ask Puput.

" Of course, I even have a pretty unique one." Vania said with a smile

" Vania you're sure if they really treat you well you're not lying to me right?"

" Of course not, yes I have to go back to college because I'm too late to take the first class."

" All right."

Vania hugged Puput before she finally left. Vania actually wants to tell about her disappointment in the first day of living together with her birth mother but Vania must realize maybe the first day is an adjustment day for them and Vania still hopes that the next days will be much better.
