Chapter 21: The Escape

Some days, Vania gets busy taking care of Angelina.

"Thank you, I want to help my mother" Angelina said after she felt much better and could move as usual.

"The same" said Vania.

"Because I feel so much healthier, you can leave this house. Cantika and Kanaya have also given word that she will be back today."

"Then, Vania will return to the room to clean up Vania's belongings" Vania said with a smile.

"Yes, great. You'd better leave before my husband gets back, so there's no chance of you glancing at my husband again."

Vania let out a long sigh, wanting her to straighten out this misunderstanding. But, yes it is..

Vania walks and starts cleaning up her things, until she accidentally finds a hidden camera.

"What's this?" peekkik Vania's.

Vania sat down while observing the small camera. Later, Vania remembered the chat with her friends who had discussed about hidden cameras.

"Geez, so this camera is in the room, where I slept in the house."

Vania then takes the camera, along with some of her belongings, out of the room and meets Angelina.

"Mom, can I talk to you?"

"Of course, you won't ask for salary money as long as you stay here."

"No, I sincerely take care of and accompany Mom." said Vania.

Angelina then gave the code for Vania to sit in front of her.

"Mom, do you still believe that I tried to tempt Mr. Vishnu?"

"Huft, I don't know. Actually I don't believe it, but how else. Three opinions and witnesses who saw it, enough to make me forced to believe it."

"Don't you want to hear my opinion?"

"Vania, did Cantika and Kanaya clearly see you trying to seduce my husband by leaving all your clothes?"

"Mom, if only at that time could I have seen the look on my frightened face, and understood my gaze that was hoping for mercy from you. Maybe, I'll find out which one of us is lying, and who's telling the truth."

Vania put a small camera on the table, before she left.

Angelina took the camera and noticed it.

"CCTV?"

Angelina immediately went upstairs and entered Vishnu's study.

Angelina opened the laptop and entered the code on the small camera.

At first, Angelina could not find anything until accidentally, her gaze looked towards the tablet that was between the stack of files.

"Tablets? I don't remember Vishnu ever having this."

Angelina opened the tablet, and found an app commonly used to spy on CCTV.

Angelina was surprised when she saw three CCTVs showing the maid's room, where previously the room was in Vania.

Among the 3 cameras showing the maid's room, one of them shows the bathroom.

"What does all this mean?, there had never been a camera in the maid's room before. Did Vishnu accidentally put the camera down?" peekik Angelina's.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vishnu came home excitedly. He thought Vania was still there, therefore he had already devised as neat a plan as possible.

Yes, as long as Vishnu goes to take care of the work, Vishnu also devises a plan, so that he can be alone with Vania.

However, Mr. Vishnu is still obsessed with Vania and so wants to enjoy Vania.

Unfortunately, when he got home, Vishnu had to swallow the disappointment because Vania was no longer in the house.

Vania is now on her way home feeling sad. Vania hopes that after this the truth will be found.

Vania had just arrived at the mess, when Puput had just finished putting his last item into an open tub car.

"Vania, I'll settle down in my hometown and never come back here again."

"What, why?"

"My father passed away, and I could not bear to let my mother stay alone for a while, my sister went somewhere because there was very little for my father to go."

Vania hugged her best friend, she cried and expressed her condolences.

"One day, I will come looking for you and visit your house" Vania said.

"Thank you Vania, I'll wait for that day. Vania, I hope after this you will be stronger in dealing with things you may never have imagined, forgive me, because I cannot always be by your side."

"Hey, it's okay. Have you forgotten that I'm a strong woman?" vania said with a smile.

Puput hugged Vania again, Puput knew that actually Vania also felt sad because they had to separate.

Puput had no other choice but to return to his hometown and stop looking for work in the city.

Puput was more worried about his mother, also after the news that his sister left because she could not accept the death of his father.

Puput waved at Vania who wiped away her tears, as the open tub car slowly left Vania.

Vania wiped away her tears and she went up to rest in the room.

Vania took the time to enter the room that used to be occupied by Puput.

Vania went inside and sat on the chair there, and tears came back down Vania's cheeks.

Vania is feeling down, she is not finished she is sad over the fact that she is not part of the Johnson family. Now, Vania must accept the harsh reality again that, the friend who always supported her, the friend who was always there to listen to her complaints, is now no longer on Vania's side.

"I'm really alone now." cried Vania while closing her eyes.

"Sister Salsa, hopefully Big Brother gets what you want" said Vania, no less he remembered yesterday's incident.

Yesterday's events...

"Vania..."

Vania who was just about to leave the campus, turned to the origin of the voice.

"Sister Salsa.."

"Vania, I want to sleep at your place tonight, okay."

"Tomorrow, because today I still live in my biological mother's house. She was sick, her husband went abroad, while her two children were busy doing college work."

"Hmmm, that means you can't spend the last night with you?"

"Last night, what did you mean?"

"Tomorrow night, Brother will start his internship at Health Care Hospital."

"Health Care, in Country XX?" asked Vania who answered the nod of her head from Salsa.

Vania fell silent, which meant that she would no longer meet Salsa.

Vania immediately hugs Salsa and repeatedly apologizes because, Vania could not realize Salsa's desire to spend the night together with her.

Tonight, Vania left her bedroom window open so, the night breeze came in and filled the room in her room.

Vania tries to contact Salsa, knowing Vania can still catch up and meet Salsa one last time.

But unfortunately, Salsa's phone is not active, because Salsa has entered the plane that took off.

Vania. I hope you will become a much stronger person. Hopefully you will soon find the happiness you want. Inner Salsa.
