Chapter 26: The New Person

Bella manages to persuade Vania to stay at her house for a while.

Bella helps carry Vania's belongings and they ride their motorcycles together to Bella's house which is about 15 minutes from the store.

Arriving at Bella's house, Vania is a little surprised because the house is so big from what Vania imagined.

"Bella, are you sure you're not the son of the Sultan? you have a very big house. Why are you still working as a store employee, in a small shop?"

"This house, I used to pick my parents. You know, I'm 8 brothers. My seven brothers had their own homes by then. Because, both my parents divorced before I bought the house like other brothers. So, they agreed not to sell the house."

"You live alone?"

"No, my parents took turns and stayed here for 2 days. The rest, some of the brothers also came to accompany me. Especially for the next few months I'll be living alone."

"Why?"

"Papa invites my 7 brothers who are already married for a vacation abroad together with papa's new family."

"You're not coming?"

"Papa says I can't come because it's a family vacation."

"Your mom?"

"Yes, since the last few weeks, Mama has rarely stayed here because Mama is pregnant and preparing to give birth."

"Sorry Bella, I didn't mean to make you sad."

"No Vania, I don't feel sad because I'm used to it."

Vania fell silent as she continued to follow Bela's footsteps towards the 2nd floor.

Vania did not suspect that behind the wise attitude that Bela always showed, hidden wounds and enormous pain.

Vania feels ashamed of Bella who managed to hide the sadness behind the laughter she always showed to everyone.

"Vania, you know? sometimes I feel ashamed of myself when I find out about your story." Bella said after they got to the room that Vania would probably use to rest while staying there.

"What do you mean, shouldn't I say that. You're very good at hiding the sadness behind the smile that always adorns your face."

"Yes, but after I get back to this house. I, I'm not much different from you." Bella.

"Vania, we both know that we have the same grief and desire. Are you willing to step with me to become a new person?" Ask Bella.

Vania smiled and nodded her head. The two of them then hugged each other.

"Rest, enjoy the facilities. Tomorrow, we'll start looking for work. You can stay here as you like. Yeah, even though I wish you'd stay with me forever." Bella's chuckle.

"No, I'm afraid you'll swell the bill as long as I stay here."

"Haha, that's for sure I did."

Elsewhere, Bara looks hard to find Vania.

Riko had just told Bara that, her mother asked all the store employees to vacate the place.

Riko asks Bara to look for Vania's whereabouts.

"Vania, where are you going?" Bara began to get upset because from last night Vania's phone could not be reached.

Vania accidentally deactivates her phone because she wants to change the course of her destiny. She wants a short break from the shadow of her biological mother as well as the pressure her former foster mother continues to exert.

A few days passed, Bella and Vania both felt very happy. They are like brothers. Vania still hasn't activated her phone and she's still reluctant to go to college.

Bella often invites Vania to travel to other parts of the city that has never been visited by Vania.

They often spend time outside together, to just walk around while looking at job vacancies that are suitable for them.

"Sorry Mr. Johnson, I know you don't want to know anything about Vania. But, as a campus committee. We sincerely hope that you can find out information about Vania."

"What do you mean by committee?"

"Once sir, Vania has been in college for more than a week. Vania also never again deposited her duties. Though before, even though Vania is no longer as active as she used to be in the campus world, but she always deposits her college assignments."

"Vania is off campus?"

Johnson was shocked by Salsa's account, which said that Erin always asked Vania for money in return and replaced what Vania had obtained, while being part of the Johnson family.

Johnson quickly walked out of the committee's father's room after he promised to find out about Vania.

Johnson immediately drove his vehicle to the bakery where Vania used to work.

Johnson was shocked when the bakery was now turned into a project building.

Johnson went down to ask the foreman who happened to be outside the project.

"Vania, where are you?" Pekik Johnson after he found out that the foreman did not know about the bakery that previously stood at the shopping center construction site.

Arriving at home, Johnson tried to ask Naura and Laudya. However, none of them knew or had ever seen Vania.

"Eh, didn't Bara also ask you about Vania?" Laudya asked after they were inside the room.

"Yes. Tumben really all on talking Vania. In class also rame talking about Vania who is rarely active on campus."

"Where do you think Vania is?" The second scream.

In a large hospital in Singapore, Bara walked gontai through the aisle of the hospital.

Bara looks confused, he does not know what to answer, when he meets Riko and Riko asks about Vania's whereabouts.

Until the time Bara, arrived in one of the VVIP rooms. He was silent and did not dare to go inside.

"Bara, when did you get there? why are you still outside Come on in." Papa Riko.

"Bara just got there."

"Thankfully, Riko kept asking if you had arrived or not. He also really hopes that you bring good news about Vania."

Deg !!

Bara had expected this, Riko must have been very hopeful that he would find Vania.

"Bara, I was dumb. Get in there, Papa wants to take the medicine for Riko first."
