CHAPTER 77

Dio attached the system card key to the key box located above the doorknob of his apartment. Not two seconds the door opened. Dio pushed the door and then went inside followed by Susi who was walking behind his back.

Lusi circulated his gaze around the room that was quite spacious, with furniture that could be said to be quite complete for a dwelling.

Dio who was standing leaning beside the window noticed the face of Lusi who had started to calm down.

“You stay here, Dio?” asked Lusi without looking at Dio. His eyes were busy paying attention to the uniquely shaped trinkets neatly arranged on the living room table.

“Iya, I've been living here for a month. While supervising the papa project in the tower next door,” Dio replied casually. Then get closer to Lucia.

“Oiya how is your papa? Is it healthy?”

“Hmm. No, Lusi. it just gets worse. Therefore now I am tasked with continuing all the construction projects of this Apartment. Yes all of you practice science from college.”

Lusi smiled for a moment and then shook his butt and back that felt sore on the sofa.

“You are indeed a smart kid from a long time ago, Dio,“ praise Lusi proudly.

Dio just smiled lightly in response.

“So, for a while you stay here first huh, Lusi. Until things get better. Including the state of your husband.” said Dio also stunned his body on the sofa in front of Susi.

“Thank you, Dio. You are very good with me,“ said Lusi staring at Dio's face with sincerity.

“I'm sure I won't let you sleep on the streets, right.”

Lusi turned his face to the backrest behind him. His gaze rose above the ceiling. Her memory is still on Ferdian, her husband. He needed it once to know Ferdian's current state. But what can be done, wherever he is he does not know.

“Lusi, you still think of your husband?” Dio seemed to understand what he was thinking.

Luci nodded slowly. His face began to dim.

“I'm sure now your husband is in good hands. You don't worry. All you have to think about now is your health Lusi.”

“I'm healthy, Dio. Just a little dizzy, maybe because tired.”

“Yes already, you sleep in the room yes, let me sleep on this sofa. If you want to clean up, the bathroom is inside and you can wear my clothes first, just choose in the closet.“

“OK, Dio...” Lucia moved from her seat slowly.

Lusi stared at Dio's room which was very neatly arranged. Some architectural art images are displayed on some parts of the wall.

Susi headed to Dio's desk in the corner by the window. There are books on design and art building layered on it. Clearly Dio loves the field he is pursuing today.

Accidentally, Lusi saw a book with a dark red cover poking out among the books lined up neatly. He took the book very carefully so that others do not fall apart.

Slowly open the first sheet. Seen a photo of himself with Dio wearing a gray white uniform smiling cheerfully, behind the photo there is the inscription ‘Best friend forever’.

He was asked again for the next few pieces. A photo fell to the floor. He took the photo and saw a candid photo of himself alone sitting on the sidewalk of the road. Behind the photo to see the caption behind it. ‘I can't stop loving you’. Lusi sighed for a moment then smiled wryly reading the writing.

Still curious about the next sheet. No more photos. But on the sheet to the end, Lusi caught a handwriting Dio very neat, short, just a few words.

Lusi tried to digest the meaning of the writing. Then smile sweetly. He understood the meaning of the words Dio wrote from the heart.

“No sin, Dio. You deserve to fall in love with another,” murmured Lusi slowly.

“Like I fell in love with Mas Ferdian, who knows where he is now.”

Lusi fumbled at the writing, suddenly his tears dripped down and fell right in the middle of the writing. Make the ink spread and blur. Susi panicked, immediately closed the book and then slipped it back to its original place.

Shaken his ass in Dio's work chair. His arms were folded over the table to support his head which was still slightly heavy.

“Mas Ferdian, where are you, Mas. I want to come with you,” whispered Lusi.

Her tears came back from both corners of her eyes. Silence his wet eyes and let the shadow of Ferdian's sweet-smiling handsome face play around in his mind.

The luxurious room was very quiet, only the sound of a ventilator was heard. The sound was like representing Reynard's hope to his friend who was now lying in a coma before him. He stared deeply at Ferdian's pale face which looked like a person who had fallen asleep very soundly.

“Wake up, Brother.“ His voice softly whispered in Ferdian's left ear.

There was no reaction from his best friend.

“How are things, Doctor?” Reynard turns to Doctor Devia who has just finished checking Ferdian's condition.

Doctor Devia just shook her head, “Still the same, Mr. Rey. We keep trying our best to restore Mr. Ferdian's consciousness.”

“Sama-sama, Mr. Rey. Then I go back to the room first. My two nurses will take care of Mr. Ferdian twenty-four hours in turn. Mr. Rey don't have to worry.“

“Good, Doctor. Happy resting.”

Reynard escorts Doctor Devia to the front door of his apartment unit. Then nodded for a moment before Doctor Devia came out towards her room.

Reynard had rented two rooms in the same apartment for Doctor Devia and two nurses he had taken from the hospital to treat Ferdian, who was now lying in a coma.

He was actually forced to take Ferdian to his Penthouse which was very privacy to avoid something bad happened because he heard the Bramanto men who are still chasing Ferdian and Lusi.

“Lusion?” called surprised. He patted his own eel anxious about his negligence towards the girl.

“Yeah, why don't I think of Lusi? He must have been looking for Ferdian to the hospital. I have to bring Lusi here too.”  Her thought.

Hurry up he grabbed his bar and dialed the phone number of the Ferdian residence.

“Halo, good night.” Ira's voice greeted me from the other end of the phone.

“Mbak Ira, this is my Rey. Please connect to Lusi yes. I want to talk.”

Ira's mother momentarily fell silent and then sounded her heavy sobs.

“What's up, Ma'am? How's laughing?” ask Reynard in astonishment.

“Mas Rey, I no longer laugh, but cry again,” protest Mbak Ira more and more whimper.

“Hah? What's up, Ma'am?”

“Non Lusi, mas. Hikkss...hikkss.

“Why Lusi?” Reynard started to rile. Bad thoughts continue to gnaw his mind.

“Non Lusi go, she was expelled Non Cantika. hiikkkssss.

“What?! Expelled Cantika?”

“Iya Mas, this afternoon Ma'am Listen they had a fight, continued suddenly Non Cantika ngusir Non Lusi.”

“Yes God. Cantica. Delayed it son.”

“Ya already, Ma'am. I'm looking for Lusi first. Hopefully he'll be in the hospital.”

Reynard hung up on her phone. And rushed to get the car keys and then darted out of the apartment. The goal is only one. To the hospital.

Half-run Reynard down the hospital aisle to the nurse's desk.

“Night, Mas. I'm a family of patients who were treated this morning in V-VIP 1. On behalf of Ferdian Adiwijaya.”, Reynard told a male nurse who was struggling with his computer.

“Iya, Sir? Can anyone help?” the nurse was polite.

“Did any woman come here looking for Ferdian Adiwijaya Patient?”

“Hmmm, there's Sir, this afternoon. But just a little while and then go again.”

“Well, he kept saying go where?” lick Reynard.

The nurse just nodded. Reynard is getting anxious and worried, afraid that something bad is happening to Lusi out there.

“And it's not just women who are looking for Mr. Ferdian. There are two men also asked Mr. Ferdian,” said the nurse again.

“Hah? Who ?”

“They said from his business colleague Mr. Ferdian would like to visit.”

Reynard's heart was pounding. Let alone Ferdian's business partner, his secretary did not know what happened with Ferdian until this second. Reynard can already guess the two men must be Bramanto's men to finish Ferdian.

“OK lah, I'm sorry first. Thanks for the information.”

Reynard rushed out of the place and headed for his car. For a moment he was leaning on his car. His brain is spinning fast. He's confused not knowing where else to look for Lusi in the middle of the night.
