ILLUSIANA (CONTRACT MARRIAGE)

ILLUSIANA (CONTRACT MARRIAGE)
CHAPTER 76

Lusi ran a small run down the hallway of the hospital that began to be quiet. Only a few nurses came back and forth from one room and out of the other.

He accelerated further towards the treatment room where Ferdian was intensively treated there.

I impatiently opened the door of the room. Turned empty. Only a bed without occupants is located in the middle of the room. A moment of confusion immediately enveloped his mind.

Did I enter the room wrong? But it doesn't feel like. I remember right this is Mas Ferdian's room in the hospital. Thought in the heart.

He came back out and rushed towards the nurse's desk located at the end of the hall. It appears that a male nurse was busy cleaning up the files in a file cabinet.

“Good afternoon, Mas. Excuse me, where is the patient in the V-VIP room? How come there's no?”

“Mewhile I check ya.” The nurse reopened the files.

“On behalf of Mr Ferdian Adiwijaya?“ ask again.

“Iya right, Mas. Where's she? What was moved to another room?”

“In our data, he has been repatriated Upon Own Request, Mbak.”

“What? Maybe it was wrong? Ferdian' mas is still in a coma, where might be repatriated?” Lusi protested because he felt awkward with the nurse's description.

“In our data clear, Ma'am. Can't be wrong, there's a caption as well.”

“What is possible to transfer to another hospital?”

“Sorry Ma'am, in our data there is only a statement returned at Your Own Request. That's it,"

Luci was silent not understanding. Her hopes were dashed to meet Ferdian, her husband. Without looking again at the nurse, Lusi stepped foot down the hallway to get out of the hospital.

Where is Ferdian? Did Cantika transfer him to another hospital? So I can't see him anymore. Oh my God, what's my fault until Cantika hates me so much? Unanswered questions came to his mind.

He stepped his foot on a rocky sidewalk. His body felt very weak with his head that felt heavy.

And he just remembered, it's been a few days his stomach is difficult to accept any food. That was why he felt his body was extremely weak at this moment

For a moment he stopped his steps, leaned against a large tree by the roadside and tried to tame the pain that had hit his head.

The day began to twilight, slowly the sunlight began to dim in the western horizon. Lusi still stepped on his feet aimlessly. His body was getting weaker but he was forced to keep going.

In his pants pocket. And take out the contents. There was only a piece of twenty thousand rupiah in his hand.

With this kind of money I can do what and where else to go? He thought as he stared at the money sheet with a glare.

Maybe to Bu Dahlia's kiosk? But what can happen with this kind of money? The place is pretty far from here. Thought again.

His gaze was fixed on a group of motorbike motorcycle drivers who were sitting on the sidewalk. With a little confidence he approached her.

“Excuse me, Bang. Sorry, if you want to go to Mega street how much is the fare?” Lusi asked one of the drivers of the online motorcycle taxi.

“Mega Streets near mayor's office huh?” The driver asked back to convince the purpose of Lusi.

“Iya Bang, right. How much?”

“Oooh that's a long way off, Ma'am. If you want thirty thousand, all I want to go home this afternoon,” replied the driver as he got up from his seat.

Luci momentarily fell silent.

“Hmm, sorry Bang. Twenty thousand could not? The money is only here.” Lusi showed his twenty rib sheet to the driver's brother.

The driver observed the face of Lusi who looked weak and very pale, to finally make his heart feel pity.

“Yes, can. Come put on the helmet,” replied the driver, then handed a green helmet to Lusi.

Lusi smiled at a glance then put on his helmet quickly.

***

Lusi stood glued observing the flower stall of Bu Dahlia. Blank. The usual flower containers perched in front of him were no more.

Slowly he peered into the stall through the curtainless glass window. Inside is empty. There are only old wood flower arrangements scattered.

His feet are tired and feel hot in the heel. He decided to sit on his back in front of the flower stall door to straighten his legs.

“Ehh, this is Kak Lusi, right?” Suddenly a young boy of his age approached him.

Lusi looked up and his smile immediately expanded from both corners of his lips.

“You Andi, right? Mother's son warteg front it?” guess Lusi.

“Iya Brother, really. Brother what's here?”

“Oh yes, I want to see Bu Dahlia, but kok tumben kiosk at this time already closed.”

“Ohhh, Bu Dahlia is no longer selling, Kak,” said Andi lightly.

“Hah? Move the stall or what?" Lusi jumped in shock and spontaneously stood up.

“It's closed, Brother. It's been about a week. I heard that Bu Dahlia came home. All merchandise is returned to the supplier.”

Luci stood limp. All the bones and joints seemed to fall out one by one. He lowered his head while leaning his shoulders on the road marker pole by his side.

The hope of being able to hitch a ride for a while at Bu Dahlia's house was immediately lost and destroyed in the afternoon wind that began to feel cold.

Back Lusi gathered his strength that began to drain. His body was weak, his stomach felt twisted and hungry, plus dizziness that still lingered on his head.

He put his foot back on aimlessly. Just walk and walk somewhere.

It didn't feel like his steps led him to the city park. The place used to spend time daydreaming and fantasizing.

It looks lonely already. Because the twilight that has begun to climb up to deliver the night. Hardly anyone else comes there. It only looks like one or two pairs of young women who spend time to combine romance.

Slowly he shook his ass on the wooden bench. Feeling his stomach that felt very sore because of the incredible hunger wrapped around him.

All he could do to contain his current hunger was swallow his saliva which felt extremely bitter.

“Mas Ferdian...” soften the voice of Lusi calling her husband's name.

Not feeling the flow of tears fell unstoppable again because it was hit by a great longing for Ferdian who was still lying helpless somewhere.

“Mas Ferdian, I miss, Mas. Where are you?” Luci crying sobbing.

He covered his face with both palms holding back his already unstoppable tears.

Suddenly someone touched his shoulder gently. Susi was shocked and spontaneously she looked back.

Dio, smile sweetly at him.

“Beautiful children should not cry,” said Dio softly to see the face of Lusi who broke down in tears.

“Dio..” call Lusi shriveled in between her sobs.

Dio fused his eyebrows when he noticed a different face from his usual one. The beautiful face was so pale, thin and weak.

“Lusi, are you sick? You are pale,” asked with worry.

At the touch of Lusi's forehead for a moment with the back of his hand. Real hot.

“Dio, i...” Not until he finished his sentence, Lusi fell weak. Fortunately, Dio caught his body.

“Lust....Luci....Build, Lusi.” Hugging Lusi's body, Dio patted her cheeks to wake her up. But Susie didn't open her eyes either.

With panic and worry, Dio carried Lusi's body towards his parked car not far from the place.

Lusi's body rests in the front seat. Then gently massaged the palm of Luci's hand. And before long, it seemed that the girl was starting to move her head weakly.

“Lusi...” call Dio again on his side.

Slowly Lusi opened his eyes. Seemed by him though faint, Dio with a face that implied panic was staring at him.

“Dio?” call Susi weak.

“You are very weak, we go to the hospital ya.”

Lusi shook his head weakly. “No to Dio. I'm just a little hungry" said Lusi, holding his stomach.

“Hah? Oh, my God, Lusi. I'll get some food soon.”

Without wasting any more time, Dio rushed towards the bakery that happened to be not far from where he parked the car.

Soon Dio returned with a pack of bread and a bottle of milk. Then it was placed into the lap of Luci.

Lusi received it weakly and devoured it slowly until it was not left. And finally the pain in his stomach gradually began to disappear.

“Why are you, Lusi? How can you go hungry like this?” dio asked who was sitting next to him.

For a moment Lusi took his breath and swallowed him slowly. Her face turned red and instantly her tears broke. Dio was confused.

“Lusi, what's up?” dio asked frantically and touched the back of Lusi's hand.

“My husband, Dio." Susi could not continue her sentence. Her tears continued to break non-stop.

“Why your husband? Did he hit you? or...”

Lusi shook his head weakly looking at Dio who was still curious about the sentence of Lusi who was still hanging.

“My husband is now in critical condition, Dio. It's been three days that she's been in a coma.”

“What? Coma?” Dio gasped in shock staring at the bead of Lusi that was still shedding tears.

Lusi nodded and bowed to hide his increasingly sobbing stuff.

Dio raised his face and was busy wiping away his tears. Dio understands that Lusi is in shock and is experiencing a very severe situation at the moment.

“Come, Lusi's story. Tell me everything, Don't you keep it yourself.”

With tears still breaking, Luci recounted all the events he had experienced to his best friend. Dio listened to him with deep pity and concern.

For a moment he shook his head slowly while exhaling his breath that felt heavy, his eyeballs also glazed.

He really did not expect the fate of this attractive Lusi. Lusi who lived like a kara, had long lived to suffer and was now thrown away.
