CHAPTER 20

At a low speed, Ferdian drove his car through a very crowded highway with the speed of the vehicle faltering.

Lusi who was stuck looking at the phone in his hand. Ferdian smiled at once.

Beautiful, praise in your heart.

Lusi's straight black hair was draped on the shoulder framing the girl's face which still looked freshly blushed even though it was already dusk.

Susi bit her lower lip and kept concentrating on what she was reading on her phone screen.

Ferdian turned back to the girl. “His habit is to bite the lips, make a jolt,” murmur slowly.actually for himself but it seems Lusi heard although not clear.

“What, mas?” ask Lusi.

“Ngak. Look at the streets jammed like this,” lies Ferdian. Obviously he was embarrassed if Lusi knew what he was thinking exactly.

“Hmm, Lusi. We eat out. I've been to the laper,” take Ferdian later.

His stomach had indeed been thrashing since he came out of his office earlier. Lucia nodded in agreement.

“Where do you want to eat?” ask Ferdian again.

“Where aja Mas, from both___.” Susi spontaneously smothered her own lips.

But Ferdian did not hear his plain words. Then laugh. Lusi's face was even more flushed with embarrassment.

“Yes, we went to a seafood restaurant aja yuk. You're not allergic to seafood, are you?” asked Ferdian again circling the direction of the car entering the parking lot of a very magnificent shopping center.

“No, Mas, I'm allergic to just the same ugly people,” joked Lusi singed a witty smile.

Ferdian laughed again. Funny this is a kid too, he thought.

Shortly, arriving in front of the lobby, Ferdian enlisted the help of Valley Parking to park his car in a specially provided place.

The two entered the business area which is quite magnificent to the seafood restaurant that Ferdian used to visit.

Lusi followed his steps from behind. Ferdian turned his head and immediately grabbed onto Lusi's hand then held her tightly.

“Don't go far, ntar in kidnap people,” always Ferdian while wrapping Lusi's hand on his arm.

Lusi just smiled a little. Instantly his heart thumped hard to get the sweet treatment. That's how Ferdian feels. His heart was pounding as Lusi put his shoulder on his arm.

“Good afternoon. Welcome to you, sir. For how many people?” A restaurant receptionist greeted them kindly when the two reached the entrance of a seafood restaurant with a very elegant interior.

“Two aja. Choose a place that is privacy yes,” pinta Ferdian.

“Good, let me drop off,” said the receptionist was welcome. They both followed from behind.

“Please, Sir.” The receptionist pointed to a table in the corner of the room with its unique semicircular sofa.

"Please, this is the menu.” The receptionist gave Ferdian and Lusi two menu albums. For a moment they both read it and then choose a few menus they like.

“Good, awaited approximately ten minutes yes Sir, excuse me.” The receptionist passed after taking note of the ordered menu.

Lusi circulated his gaze throughout the luxurious room. His eyes sparkled in admiration watching every beautiful ornament in some parts.

Ferdian looked at the face of Lusi that looked adorable to him. Ferdian loved to notice her luscious lashes framing her clear eyeballs.

Susi realized Ferdian was staring at her. He looked down and pretended to open the screen of his phone.

“What the hell is clay-wild?” Susi misbehaved in her submission.

Ferdian smiled sweetly while biting his lips in dismay as he looked at the clumsy-looking Lusi sitting by his side.

“You are beautiful,” said Ferdian whispering in Lusi's ear.

The girl smelled a refreshing peppermint scent from Ferdian's breath.

Duh, love the smell, whispered bathin Luci tickled the heart.

“Thy. People are tickling us, Mas.” Lusi pushed the spoiled Ferdian chest that stuck to his shoulder.

Ferdian turned to his left right. There seemed to be some women at the other table smilingly looking at him while whispering.

“Biarin. They envy it like,” said Ferdian relaxed then fix his sitting position.

Before long their dishes came delivered by two servants.

For a moment Ferdian closed his eyes and read the prayer before eating and then ate his meal at a leisurely pace. Likewise with Lusi who began to eat his food solemnly.

“Where? Cute?” tanya Ferdian turned to Lusi who seemed to be enjoying the dish.

Lusi nodded. “Enak. Mas often here?” ask Lusi.

His fingers were busy picking up lobster meat from the large plate in front of him.

“Sometimes anyway, if again the cuisine of Mbak Ira,” replied Ferdian and sipped his mineral water for a moment.

“ Hi, Ferdian..”.

Suddenly a baritone voice appeared before them. Of course, it disrupts the eating of both.

Spontaneous Ferdian turned to the origin of the voice.

Ferdian's heart seemed to stop for a moment when he found a man he was very familiar with standing before him with a smile on his face.

Ivan's. The man he had been struggling with two years ago was in a hot hotel bed with Amanda, his ex-wife-to-be.

The man who has ruined his future plans with the woman he once loved. And now the man is standing right in front of him.

“How are you, Fer?”

Without asking permission, the man sat in the same place. His hands were stretched out to shake with Ferdian, but Ferdian was reluctant to retaliate. He just stared intently with hateful eyes.

Susi who was among them was confused to see Ferdian's attitude so flat and cold in response to the greeting of the man who placed himself before them.

“Hai, this is yours, Fer? New boyfriend? Can you contact?” Ivan turned his gaze to Lusi while thrusting his hand at the girl.

Spontaneous Ferdian pulled the hand of Lusi who was on the table avoiding coming into contact with Ivan.

“You what?” ferdian asked flatly looking at Ivan cynically.

“Yes, just wanted to say hello. Can't you?”  ivan replied casually.

“Can't!” listen to Ferdian's tone with a stiffened face.

“I've been wanting to see you for a long time, Fer. Want to say something,” Ivan's voice sounded clear.

“Nothing else to talk about.”

“I'm sorry for my mistake first," said Ivan again.

Ferdian just flinching unresponsive. His hand under the table was very strong grasping Lusi's fingers. The girl grimaced softly feeling a slight pain from the firm hand squeeze.

“That doesn't matter anymore to me,” said Ferdian flatly.

“But it matters to me, Fer. Since that incident my life has been uncomfortable. I bore the same guilt you have for these two years.”

“Yes it's your whim," said Ferdian haughty.

“I have no feelings for Amanda. That night was just a mistake because Amanda teased me. You know I had a boyfriend back then, so I had absolutely no feelings for Amanda and I couldn't have snatched Amanda away from you.” Ivan explained slowly and straightforwardly.

“You and Amanda are both jerks. Already have a partner but still tempted to sleep with others,” ketus Ferdian tone voice while mendelik annoyed.

“Iya it's my fault, I'm sorry." Ivan's voice was heard.

Ferdian raised his hand to call the waiter who was standing in the corner of the room, giving a code to bring the bill. The waiter understood. He soon rushed to her.

Ferdian put several hundred thousand bills in his bill and grabbed Lusi's hand back and moved from his seat.

“Fer, I am so sorry,” said Ivan weld again. His voice was pleading with Ferdian.

“Please, you don't bother me anymore. I've forgotten everything. And now that I'm happy with my wife,” said Ferdian suddenly and made Ivan gawk at hearing it.

“Wife?” exclaim Ivan shocked. Shifting his eyes to Lusi who had been silent since then.

“Yes, I'm married. It's clay,” said Ferdian reassured him while showing a wedding ring that coiled on his ring finger

“Come, Darling. We go home.” Ferdian drew Lusi's hand away from Ivan who was still dumbfounded to hear Ferdian's words just now.

Ivan stared at the pair's back until it disappeared out of the restaurant door.

“Damn, I have been apologizing for lowering self-esteem, it turns out he has married another girl. All this time I thought he was heartbroken and frustrated because he didn't marry Amanda because of me. Basic male crocodile. Fortunately I do not want to be the same man,“ grumbled Ivan annoyed rebuking himself. Catty.
