I've seen you

I've seen you
Elis

"It's cold, '" Rizal murmured softly. He was not able to sleep that night until dawn. He now came out of Grandpa Dirman's house and stood on the porch of the house folding his hands. His nose still itches, causing him to sneeze several times.

"Le, are you awake?" Grandpa Dirman's question made him turn his head.

"Can't sleep Cake."

Rizal now switched to a seat on the patio chair followed by Grandpa Dirman.

"Is there something to think about?"

Rizal just took a long breath. Other than the cold that made him unable to sleep there was indeed one thing he still thought about.

"You're Lisa's boyfriend?"

Rizal nodded his head with a smile.

"Explain what has happened. I can see the sincerity of your love. May you and Lisa be a match." Grandpa Dirman seemed to be able to see what Rizal was thinking.

"Yes, amen Kek."

"Yes already. Grandpa heard you sneezing. Have a cold allergy?"

Rizal nodded his head again.

"Make a warm ginger drink, in the kitchen there is ginger powder stay brewed to subside ya."

"Good cake, thank you."

Grandpa Dirman patted Rizal on the shoulder for a moment and stood up. "Yes already. I'm going to Musholla first, it's dawn."

"Yes the cake." Rizal sees Dirman's grandfather's back drifting away. A while later he went into the house and headed to the kitchen to make a ginger drink so that his body feels a little warm.

"What is Rizal doing?" lisa's slow voice managed to make Rizal surprised.

"Eh, Lisa. Kirain who? This is gonna make a ginger drink. It's cold in here."

Lisa approached Rizal. "This is what I made you brother." Lisa took over the glass that Rizal was holding.

"No need. I can." Rizal now forbids Lisa and moves the glass back to her front.

"Sister, it's not papa." Lisa wanted to shift it again but it was Lisa's hand that Rizal now held. "Rizal's hands are cold. Could be hypothermic."

Rizal smiled slightly as he pinched Lisa's cheek slightly. "Hipothermia? Too much." Rizal now clasped Lisa's warm hands. "It just takes a little warmth."

Lisa leads Rizal to sit down. "Sir Rizal just sat down."

Rizal obeyed Lisa's orders. He now sees Lisa's back making drinks for him with a smile. If only she and Lisa had been halal, she would have hugged him from behind and kissed him. Returning to the current reality, he shook his head so that his mind would not travel anywhere. Remembering he was still a high school student still far from thinking about marriage.

"Sister Rizal why smile?" asked Lisa while putting a warm drink that was ready in front of Rizal.

"Eh, hmm, thanks." Rizal now held the glass with both hands so that the coldness in his hand disappeared. "Are you awake at this hour?"

Lisa paused her intention to sit down to accompany Rizal. He forgot his intention to throw away. So interesting is Rizal to divert Lisa's world. "I'm going to the bathroom." Lisa walked quickly to the bathroom.

Rizal now enjoys his drink while waiting for Lisa in the kitchen.

"Elis?" the sound of Lisa's call managed to make Rizal turn his head. Lisa looked at the back door. "Where are you going?" Lisa opened the back door.

Rizal immediately stood up and prevented Lisa from running like she wanted to chase someone.

"Sister, it's Elis."

Rizal looked at Lisa's direction. Nobody just has plants. "Where? There's nothing. We just went in. It was still early morning blind. I'll take you to Elis' house."

"But Brother, it's Elis. Now he's waving to me." Lisa managed to take her hand off Rizal. He is now following the shadow of Elis. The black clouds had already started to turn into white clouds. Lisa was convinced that the figure walking quickly in front of her was Elis.

"Lisa!!" Rizal is now following Lisa. "Lisa already, let's go back." Rizal's feelings start to feel bad. He did not see the figure of Elis that Lisa was chasing.

"Elis wait, I want to talk to you." Lisa further accelerated her pace through the path in the middle of the chili plant.

They're getting further away. Rizal doesn't manage to bring Lisa back.

Now Lisa realizes that the road she went through is a shortcut to the funeral. Cold sweat started flowing down his temple. Her throat was dry even now Lisa could hear her own breathing. He's getting scared. Is the Elis he follows not human?

A hand of Rizal's now strengthened him. He's not alone. There is still Rizal who accompanies. Now he continues his steps to follow Elis who has not lost his sight. Walking between the tombstones with increasingly piercing cold.

Lisa stopped her steps when she saw the figure of Elis pointing at a tombstone.

"I said goodbye to Lisa. I'm sorry..."

"Elis! Elis, what do you mean?" lisa's eyes were rounded as she looked at the name on the tombstone. Elisha. Even the date of birth is the same as Elis's date of birth. "Can't be. There's no way you're...." Lisa is now crying while sitting on the ground because her knees feel weak.

Rizal tries to hold Lisa's body.

"I'm leaving. Again, I'm sorry."

"Elis!! Don't you go!!" Lisa is getting hysterical.

"Lisa is yes. We're back now." Rizal wants to help Lisa stand up but Lisa's body just gets weaker. "Lisa!!" Rizal now hugs Lisa who is already unconscious. "Lisa wake!!" Rizal pats Lisa's cheek for a moment intending to wake Lisa from her stupor but fails.

Rizal now lifts Lisa's body with the rest of his energy. He stepped out of the funeral. "Lisa, let's get up. Lis.." call Rizal many times. Lisa closed her eyes. "Lise..." Rizal's steps felt heavy. His energy and mind had indeed been too drained since yesterday. He almost fell down, though he could still hold Lisa's body. Luckily, Lisa finally opened her eyes. "She, Lisa..." Rizal helps Lisa straighten up.

Lisa slightly held her dizzy head. It just happened like a dream. "Sister Rizal, Elis..."

"If it has happened, please forgive and forgive his mistakes. Let her calm down." said Rizal while removing the remains of Lisa's tears

Rizal's words calmed Lisa down a little.

"Let's go to Elis' house to see what's really going on." Rizal embraces Lisa and helps her stand up.

Lisa nodded her head. He understood that he must be able to reveal what is destiny.

"Street strong?" asked Rizal even though actually Rizal was also not able to hold Lisa.

Lisa nodded her head.

Rizal embraces Lisa while walking slowly back to Grandpa Dirman's house.

Losing someone is painful but we can't fight destiny. Age has been determined, we live this life as well as possible even though sometimes the trials of alternating approaching.
