Chapter 6 The Dark Elf Village

Ren escorts Eva and Diana to meet Emerta. So that they can hold a very moving family reunion.

They talk about many things as a family. At that time, Diana asked a lot about the reasons for her mother's actions. And Emerta answered all the questions.

Emerta is doing research to repair his man-made body. He wanted to have stable emotions like humans in general. And now he's succeeding. Although he fell asleep for several years in the process.

Until finally, Diana invites Emerta to stay with them. But Emerta refused because she wanted to continue her research. Diana was quite disappointed with that answer until Emerta said that she would visit them often.

Emerta and Diana talked a lot about each other. While on the other hand, I only listened because I didn't want to interfere too much.

Until the end, we have to say goodbye to Emerta. It's not a real farewell because tomorrow we'll meet again. Tomorrow Emerta will take a day off and we will spend time together to surround the elf village.

Ren drove us home.

"How was the meeting?" ask Ren.

"Very good" Diana and I answered in unison. We paused for a while, then looked at each other before finally laughing together.

Seeing their happy faces, Ren let out a sigh of relief. "Good.." he said. Ren actually also knew of Emerta's news of being unconscious for several years due to his research. Therefore, Ren felt very worried when they met. He is worried about Emerta's condition. But it seemed that everything was fine since they were so happy like that.

After arriving in front of the room, Ren resigned to return.

Today was so refreshing. I can sleep well tonight. I'm really impatient with tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. Take a walk with my extended family. It's just, Duke isn't around, it's a little disappointing. If only Duke could come and Ren would let him. But it's not possible. I couldn't possibly ask for a heart again after Ren gave me his heart. The day passed. Today, Diana and Emerta are going to spend some time together for a walk. Evan is not coming. Diana left the baby to Ren. Ren will handle it since Ren can't come along too because he's too busy. She gives a very strong protector in the crib of the baby, so that no one touches her. He also gave the baby some bodyguards. Ren tried his best so that Diana and Eva could go on a carefree walk.

The three women changed their appearance before finally exiting the palace. They wear common clothes that are usually used in this place so as not to be too flashy. They also wore robes with hoods to cover their human appearance. It would be very striking if humans went around in the elf village. They will be the center of attention. And some elves might attack them as well.

This is the first time I have seen an elf village. I'm a little amazed. This village really gave me a different impression from the human habitation. It was as if I lived in a different world.

The elf village was huge. It wasn't as old-fashioned as I thought - full of tree houses without any amenities. It's not like that. Although the tree houses remained around the forest, they were not ancient, but very beautiful.

Tree houses built on large trees look like fairy dwellings. Even I could clearly see the strange magic tools on the streets of the city. This thing is a robot! Who said that elves are outdated creatures who do not know technology? In this world, people are the ones who are out of date!

The village is surrounded by a lot of magic tools on each side. I can see a cleaning robot passing by to take care of the trash. Surprisingly the robot was not from cold iron, but from plants. I barely shut my mouth so shocked by all the sights I saw.

There's also a cable car flying over our heads. They made a railroad over the sky by connecting its tracks between trees. Even I've never seen a train in the kingdom Well! Who would have thought I'd find one here.

I also saw plant robots carrying full crops such as fruits and potatoes. Holy hooch! This village really looks very prosperous. Even the palace looks very gloomy when compared to its urban area.

"You need to keep your mouth shut, or the flies will go inside" Emerta said with a chuckle. She could see Eva and Diana's shocked expressions, she felt that it was quite funny.

"Oh, sorry" I went straight back to my usual expression.

"They are Ren's creations" Emerta said, pointing to strange walking robots as well as the magic tools used. "Every time Ren returns, he will make changes with his research. He handed the results of his research over to the palace side, so that the elven nobles multiplied everything they could through his designs"

"Ren made all this?" I blinked in disbelief. I know Ren is crazy with his research and he made all these amazing things to develop his empire. It was fitting that he was so interested in the ideas that I got from the earth!

In an instant I could see gold scattering on Ren's figure. "He could sell all of this to the human kingdom or the other race empires!" I said I couldn't believe it. "And make a lot of money. Why didn't he do it?" I said with an expression of disbelief. With that money, he could build this village for the better.

Emerta raised both of his hands "I don't know. You can ask Ren yourself. Maybe he is just obsessed with research and not interested in such a fancy thing" Emerta replied nonchalantly.

"I'll ask him later" Emerta was probably right. Ren was only interested in research and did not care much about such a thing. But it was a waste! It was the same as throwing valuables into the trash. Ren's research might change the world for the better.

They also continued their journey. Enjoy the scenery in the elven village and buy some weird stuff at the roadside shop. All the shops in this elf village sold all the items related to dark magic. Because dark magic is the basic magic used by this elf race.

While there are many useful ones for dark magic, there are no dark witches to be seen in this place. All the people I met were dark elves. I don't see any other elf race here either.

This was natural because this elf village was extremely isolated from the outside world. No other human and race could enter without the permission of the Elf king, Ren. Because only Ren can bring foreign guests to this place. If another elf wanted to bring foreign guests in, the barrier would reject them automatically. And as his punishment, the elf would be expelled from the village. Really very strict rules.

When we arrived at the potion shop, suddenly Rexus who had fallen asleep in the bag woke up. Excitedly the boy flew out and ruled Eva with his overbearing eyes "Human, I want all the potions that are here! These are all good food! Buy everything for me!"

Eva's face twitched upon hearing her statement. Rexus really treats her as money goes wherever she goes.

Rexus looks proud when he sees the shocked face of Emerta. "Yes, I am a mighty dragon" said Rexus proudly.

"Where did you find this dragon Eva?" Emerta asked curiously.

I also told him about my experience in the magic match. As well as my encounter with Rexus in the Magic Domain.

"ah! Your experience has been absolutely amazing" Emerta said in awe.

I feel a little proud. But why do I feel such a terrifying aura behind me? When I looked around, it turned out that it was from Diana.

"You really did such a dangerous thing secretly? Weren't you on vacation at the Magic Tower back then?" Diana said in a cold tone.

I forgot that I kept it a secret from Duke and Diana. They knew that I was going to the Magic City. But they didn't know I was following a magic match. Even Diana thought I was just going on vacation in a foreign city.

"I'm sorry mom." I said sorry. I don't remember how many times I've apologized in a week.

Diana sighed, she held back her anger. "I don't know what else to say to you. Why do you like to get involved in such dangerous things?" Diana did not care that her daughter was a genius who could use the six elements. To her Eva is Eva, a little girl who has not even reached her maturity age. How can a little girl who is not even an adult be able to withstand all dangerous things alone?

This magic match gave a great deal of benefits to my development" I looked at Diana with a stern look. I have to be strong. And the path to becoming strong is not easy. I ignored Rexus' nagging and focused on Diana's reply.

"ah! It was an old dragon who was friends with the elves right?" I asked with enthusiastic eyes.

Seeing Eva so enthusiastic about talking about other dragons, for some reason Rexus' heart was a little sour. He was jealous and betrayed now.

"I don't know" Emerta replied unconvinced. "One year ago a dragon caused an uproar in the area where the elves lived. He visited all the elven races and destroyed some of their buildings while giving a warning. I saw him before then. It just so happened that I was buying research materials in the city. But the dragon suddenly entered. The barrier was even broken because of it. Then he roared and shouted with the language we knew 'Don't fight each other you stupid elves! You guys disturbed my sleep while doing that! I'm not happy! If you do that again, I will destroy your residences!'. After giving a warning, the dragon destroyed several houses and flew back" Emerta explained.

"It looks like a mighty dragon" I said in amazement.

Rexus's feelings are getting sour.

"Did anyone die?" I asked again

"Surprisingly there are none. His attack was very strong"

"He's also very nice" I added.

Rexus was shaking furiously. "Enough! I don't want the potion anymore!" Rexus suddenly protested and went back inside my rattan bag.

I blinked confused by his unclear attitude. "Hey, what's going on? Why are you suddenly angry?"

There's no answer.

"Rexus, are you sure you don't want the potion?" I asked innocently. I don't understand why he's suddenly angry. He's still a kid anyway. So I understand him because the boy is always being unstable. But if Rexus doesn't want it, my money will be saved.

"Buy" replied Rexus short in a sulking tone.

He even still wanted to buy potions. But why was he suddenly angry like this?

I followed Rexus' request without asking further. I bought all the potions. Honestly speaking, I don't have the currency used to transact in the elf village. But before leaving Ren gave me a strange, golden leaf. Ren said we can shop with these leaves for free because all the bills will be charged to Ren. Maybe it functions like a credit card.

Even if it's free for now, I'm sure Ren will ask me to replace it. So my money is really in a critical situation. We are shopping in large quantities now.
