Chapter 5. Magic Match: First Round 1

Eva dreams again and meets the cat god. The cat god showed Eva an extra chapter.

There Eva saw something surprising. He saw some freaks invading Well's kingdom and they wanted to take over it. And it was war. But the kingdom of Well suffered a defeat as spies leaked their defensive magic to the enemy. Denis died in the war and the Kingdom of Well fell.

When the cat god sent me away, my eyes turned white. Suddenly I woke up from my sleep. The day is also early in the morning. The dream was very long, but it was very short.

Today was the first day of the magic match, so I didn't think too much about the dream I had. I was a little surprised by the dream, but I immediately ignored it. I'll think about it later. I need to focus on this magic match.

We group flew at the speed of light and arrived in the middle of the wilderness. That's exactly what Dean's prediction was. All the participants must have been teleported in the middle of the forest for the difficulty to increase.

"Alright, we have to look at our location first" Robert, as chairman, gave guidance and opened the map that had been given.

On the map, we can see two points. The first point is the location of our existence and the second point is the destination point. We can't see the enemy's point of existence at all.

"We are in the North. We need to walk south. There was one river and several swamps, there was likely a beast here" Robert explained then put the map back into its storage space.

"Let's go" he ordered.

Everyone immediately nodded. And walk straight forward. Actually the wind magic users can dart faster with their magic. But not everyone here has wind magic. And the condition of a witch's body is not as strong as a magic swordsman. So inevitably they have to walk through the forest carefully.

After an hour of their trek through the forest, they only moved slightly from the point of the map. It seemed like they needed something to speed up their movements or they would be left behind from the other group.

Robert thought of something and he looked towards his group.

Just thirty minutes away, Hans and Jean's group had already fallen behind.
