Episode 43

For days Sassy had not woken up from his coma. Samuel still can't go anywhere because he's being watched by Petter. He could not even leave the hospital.

Damn, I have to take responsibility for everything. Sassy is the stupidest woman I've ever met. Why he tried to kill himself after the night we spent together. I was too scary for him, Samuel thought.

Samuel kept staring at the door of the ICU room, hoping that she would wake up soon so that she could be free of Petter. An arrogant and scary man for Samuel.

Samuel contacts his men to deliver evidence of an accident that occurred decades ago. He will use that to break free from Petter's restraints.

A few hours later, his men came and brought all the evidence. He looked at Petter who was watching him. Samuel stood up and approached the man. He submitted evidence against Sassy.

"What's this?" snapped Petter.

"You see for yourself." replied Samuel.

Petter opened the brown envelope and the document, he looked up at the photo where Sassy hit and left the scene, and even his car plate was clearly visible.

"What does all this mean? Whatdoyouwant?" ask Petter.

"Of course I want to be free, you're holding me here when the accident wasn't my fault" Samuel replied.

"How could it not be your fault." Petter. "My daughter was in an accident after seeing you, she attempted suicide and from the examination there was a liquid** on her genitals, it was yours right? Didn't you take advantage of the situation." he snapped while pulling Samuel's collar again.

"Stop... You always fight, you can't calm down until Sassy comes to his senses and explains everything. Sam, be a gentleman. Take responsibility for your actions." Marina said in tears.

"I won't run, just don't treat me like a prisoner like this. I have a job too. If you don't release me, then I'm forced to send the evidence to the police station." threatened Samuel.

Petter released Samuel, his face flushed with emotion. "Don't try to do it" Petter said.

"You don't have to bother Samuel. I've reported it to the police." said Ramon arrived.

Ramon arrives with a member of the police force, he is given an order by Jeffry to handle it immediately. Everyone was shocked to hear that, the police immediately took the evidence in Petter's hands. Marina fainted, while Samuel was just glued to his place.

"You think your gestures aren't being watched by Jeffry Sean" Ramon said with a laugh.

"What are you doing, my daughter is dying. He's innocent." Petter yelled as he tried to wake his wife.

"We're going to take over this case sir, you can't stand in our way. The patient is now a prisoner" said one of the police officers Ramon had taken. "And you too we are withholding embezzlement of company funds and protection of accident suspects" he told Samuel.

The other policeman handcuffed Samuel and led him out of the hospital to the police station.

"You and Sean will be sorry." cried Samuel as he rebelled.

Ramon breathed. "I trust you guys with this case, I'll get back to work now. Mr and Mrs Sean will take care of everything." Ramon told the police and left the hospital as well.

"What you did Jeff, you just told me about everything. But you've acted." Valery said as her husband explained everything.

"Because I know baby, you're soft-hearted. You'll spare Sassy because he's in a coma." Jeffry replied.

Her husband was right, he would let the case pass just like that considering God had already punished the woman.

"Did you forget what you were going through back then?" ask Jeffry. "I can't imagine when you arrived to be an orphan for Vale. This is a punishment for irresponsible women. Just trust me and the police." he said.

Valery can't think, decades ago he was really hit. Even now he is still looking for the perpetrator. But after everything was revealed, he felt compelled to forgive the woman.

"Jeff, I know maybe Sassy was really scared back then. He was still in school and hit people on the street. It's been a long time, isn't it..."

"No...!!!" cut Jeffry. "This case has to start again, baby, your parents want to calm down. After everything was revealed, they must be smiling right now" he continued.

It was free for Valery to argue with her husband. He must have insisted on punishing the woman.

"Darling, listen to me... You have to continue with the case. Give a deterrent effect on Sassy, it is very useful for him to be more responsible for what he does later." said Jeffry pacified his wife.

"You know, Sassy attempted suicide because of his fear of being caught by the police. If he goes to jail after he recovers, do you think he won't do anything stupid anymore by hurting himself." Valery replied.

"You're my gentle wife Vale, you still think of criminals. But take it easy, Sassy will be transferred to Bhayangkara Hospital today. He will be a prisoner there, and his guard is very strict. There's no way that woman's doing anything stupid anymore" Jeffry said.

Valery finally nodded and hugged her husband. "Thank you, you helped me find the suspect. I knew you'd be my protector." she said.

Jeffry returned Valery's embrace. "Until death do us part, that's my promise before God dear" he replied.

"Jeff, how's my company?" valery asked arrived.

Jeffery looked at his wife's face. "I'm not going to force you, baby, but I want us to unite the company and change its name to PT. Diamond Gem Sean. But I'm giving you back this decision. I just want to manage it with you, I don't want us to be busy with Vale's work" Jeffry replied.

Valery nodded. "I agree with your grand plan, I leave my company to you" Valery said.

Jeffry was shocked by his wife's decision so fast, he was very happy and hugged Valery tightly. "I promise I won't let you down, we'll grow the company together, so that our children and grandchildren will live to enjoy the results." Jeffry promised.

Valery smiled, he was relieved by his own decision. At first he was afraid of Jeffry's request. But after he convinced his heart, for some reason he was calmer now.

"You know, I want you again." whispered Jeffry.

"Darling, mom and Paul must be looking for us. It was like this afternoon I was still in my room. And I don't want to be a lazy son-in-law." she said upon waking up.

"Where are you going?" jeffry asked while pulling his wife.

"Jeff, stop." Valery replied.

But Jeffry continued to kiss Valery, until Valery finally gave up. They're back to playing hot bed. Jeffry doesn't care about his home. All he wanted was his wife and put hers together in Valery's body.
