Episode 11

"Don't leave us, ma'am. Don't go." said Jeffry.

"I'm sorry mommy, I have to go. Mom already has a husband. I have to go with him to Canada. I can't be with you or take you away. Forgive me for taking care of yourself." replied Susi.

"How can I take care of little Paul Mom, we don't have anyone here" Jeffry cried.

"Listen to Jeff, I'm sending you money every month. You can keep your sister until she grows up. I have to go now." replied the woman.

"Don't ma'am.don't go.Don't leave us.Don't go.." cried Jeffry.

Jeffry woke up with a sweat soaking his body, his breath gasping with fatigue.

"Damn it.dream it again." he murmured. He woke up and went down from his bed to the kitchen for a drink.

Jeffry always had nightmares, he always dreamed of his mother when he was abandoned by the woman. He saw his wall clock, still at 3 a.m. But he can't sleep anymore. He headed to the lounge and watched television until morning.

"What are you doing bang?" ask Paul.

"Oh my God, you surprised me." replied Jeffry. "Why are you awake?" tanyakanya.

"I haven't slept, I'm still doing college work bang. But I heard the sound of television, so I approached him. It's bang Jeff." Paul replied.

"You're studying Paul too hard, it's time for bed" Jeffry said.

"I'm in college at noon bang, I still have plenty of time. But my brother is awake" said Paul.

"I can't sleep." replied Jeffry flatly.

"All right" said Paul and left him.

Jeffry leaned his body on the sofa. He doesn't know what he saw on television. Because of course there are only a few television channels that are still on. Then he turned off his television and headed to the kitchen. He'll make a sandwich for breakfast this morning because that's all he can.

Ever since his mother left him, Jeffry has done everything himself. He never wanted to trouble others including taking care of his only child.

Valery Arnold can't get out of bed. His body suddenly became ill and he began to have a fever. Valery grabbed his phone many times to contact his personal doctor, but his hand shook violently. He returned to his drinking glass.

Jeffry left at 5am for Valery's house. As he always does. But he was astonished when in the woman's house, the usual gate was wide open. This time it's closed.

Shortly after, Karmi opened the gate.

"The gate wasn't opened" Jeffry asked.

Suddenly Jeffry's feelings were not good. "I'll try to wake him up" Jeffry said. He'll be up soon. Jeffry knocked on the door slowly.

"Vale.you're not awake yet. It's Vale noon, you don't like being late." said Jeffry. He put his ear on the door. But there's no sound. "Vale, you're okay, right?" Jeffrey started screaming. "Vale.I'm in." she said again.

Jeffry opened the door. The room was still dark, only the dim night lights decorated it. Jeffery saw the bed was empty. "Where's your vale?" shout Jeffry. Samar Jeffry heard a groan. He immediately approached the origin of the sound.

How surprised Jeffry was when he saw Valery on the floor with his body shaking violently. "Vale.." cried Jeffry. He lifted Valery's body into the bed. "Oh my God, you have a fever. Why don't you call me." Jeffry snapped.

"Bok prepare a small towel and warm water." cried Jeffry.

Mbok Karmi heard Jeffry's screams. Then go to the room immediately. "Open the mbok window." pinta Jeffry.

"Vale, wakeup...Mbok I'll take him to the hospital after cleaning his wounds and sweat" Jeffry said in a panic.

"Well, yes." replied Mbok Karmi.

Jeffry cleaned Valery's wounds and wiped the sweat on his neck and forehead. Many times Jeffry touched his soft skin. After that, he put Valery in his car. He immediately drove his car to the hospital.

Arriving there Valery was immediately handled in the ER room. Suddenly a doctor recognized him.

"Valery, what's going on?" ask the doctor. "You who?" continued.

"I'm Jecko the driver, non Vale passed out in his room and his body was very hot" Jeffry replied.

"I'm Dr. Andrew. I'm his personal doctor. Thank you for bringing him here." he said. Jeffry nodded. "I'll handle it first, you can wait outside." Dr. Andrew said.

Jeffry followed the doctor's orders, he waited for Valery in the waiting room. A few minutes later, Valery was discharged from the ER and taken to the inpatient room.

"How is he doing?" ask Jeffry.

"He was just exhausted, his fever had started to drop. Are you really the driver, not her lover?" ask Andrew.

Jeffry smiles. "I deserve to be a driver" he replied.

"Omong is empty, I just found out Vale hired a guy next to him. All this time he was anti-men. And I hope you're not just the driver. Vale needs someone who's always by his side." Andrew said.

"I don't want to dream doc, I think his doctor's girlfriend." replied Jeffry.

Andrew laughing. "I hope he wants to be with me. But for years, he'd only considered me a doctor."

Jeffry felt a sense of jealousy. Doctor Andrew is very handsome. Valery's been close to him all this time. What if the doctor precedes him.

"I'll take care of him doc, thank you." Jeffry replied as he left Dr. Andrew.

Andrew smiled at Jeffry's face. He lied about his desire to have Valery, because he already has a wife and 2 children. He just wanted to see the man's reaction. And the guess was right, the guy liked Valery. It was obvious jealousy on his face.

Jeffry went into Valery's ward. He looked at the woman's face. "How can you be sick alone Vale, if there's no me. Then who was going to help you earlier." he murmured.

Jeffry held Valery's hand. He rubbed the back of his hand. "Vale, live with me. I like you, I want to protect you. I'll tell you who I really am if you want to accept my love Vale. I just want you to always be happy." she said.

"Ehem.." Andrew's doctor's disgust shocked him. At once Jeffry let go of Valery's hand. "I'll check it out for a minute" he said.

Jeffry nodded. "Please doc."

Andrew began examining Valery and injecting the liquid into his hand. "According to the results of the blood test, Vale typhus positive relapse. He does have it. I have often warned her not to work too hard, and to eat regularly. But it looks like this woman is very stubborn." he said.

"How long will it take to be treated?" ask Jeffry.

"Fast 4 days. Jeck, take good care of Valery. This woman needs a companion. And what I said was just a joke. I have a wife and 2 children. I know you're not an ordinary man." Andrew approached Jeffry. "You Jeffry Sean owns PT. Sean Jewel is." whispered.

Jeffry widened his eyes. "How's..."

"You don't need to know where I know from, I trust this beautiful woman to you" Andrew said. "You take it easy." Andrew raised his hand to his mouth to demonstrate the riseleting, which meant that he would keep Jeffry's secret.

Jeffry smiles. "Thank you doc." he replied.

Andrew nodded and left Valery's room.
