Episode 24

Valery is getting closer to Susi, he misses his own mother. Had his mother been alive, it might have been almost the same age as Jeffry's mother. Valery hesitantly held onto the woman's shoulder. Susi looked up, her eyes were very sad. Valery sat down next to the woman.

"Mom introduce my name is Valery Arnold. I'm Jeffry Sean's girlfriend. Jeffry told me everything about your problems, sorry Jeffry's heart is still very hurt, he needs time. And he was very surprised. You haven't seen each other in a long time." Valery said.

Susi was crying again. "I was wrong, son, I can come back after decades. That's because my husband is dead. If he's alive, I can't possibly meet them. Before I die, I would love for Jeffry and Paul to listen to my reasons for leaving them behind. I know, the pain must still be in his heart."

Valery hugged Susi. He tried to calm the woman. "I don't know the reason behind all this, but my feeling is that you're a very good mother to them. Give Jeffry some more time, Mom, I'll try to convince him to talk to you. I promise I'll make him face you."

Susi smiled in her tears. "God, my son is so lucky to have a lover like you. Beautiful and very kind-hearted woman. I'm so calm Jeffry can be with you." he said.

"Where do you live now?" ask Valery.

"Still in the hotel, son. Where else to go." replied Susi.

"How long will you stay here?" ask Valery again.

Susi is sad again. He wanted to stay forever, but there was no way he could stay in a hotel. If Jeffry could forgive her, she would probably sell all her assets from her husband in Canada. But if it were the other way around, maybe he would stay in Canada alone.

Seeing the doubt on the woman, Valery knew very well what she was thinking. "Stay with Vale Bu, but it's a secret. Until Jeffry is ready to meet and talk to mom." he said.

Susi was surprised by Valery's request. "No son, I will trouble you" he replied, shaking his head.

Valery pouting. "I miss my own mother. Seeing my mother's desire wane, you can't be my mother. I live alone in a very big house, I'm lonely ma'am." she said sadly.

Susi was surprised again. He held Valery's hand. "I'm so happy to be your mother, son, let's just say I'm your mother now. But I don't want to bother you."

"Mom, that's a very good idea. Staying at my house will make it easier for me to see Jeffry every day, because he's dropping me off and picking me up. I want to see it." seduce Valery.

Susi's eyes twinkled, he would easily see his son even though he would hide. Valery is sure his mother will now agree with him. And sure enough the woman finally nodded. "If it's not a hassle, I agree."

"I'll pick up mom at the hotel. Here's my card, I can send an address to that number. Now let Jeffry and Paul alone. Better get back to the hotel. I'm sorry I didn't mean to kick mom out." Valery said.

Susi nodded, then sighed heavily while leaving the hospital.

Valery went back into the room. He saw Jeffry still down while holding his head. Valery approached. "Jeff.." call him.

Jeffry looked up, apparently the man was crying. This was the first time he had seen the man let out his tears. Valery hugged him. "Oh my God, don't cry Jeff. I know how you feel. But don't be like this, I'm sick to see you crying Jeff."

Jeffry couldn't say anything, it was very painful for him. She missed him so much for decades, even though he hated her. But seeing the woman getting older and fragile, added to the pain she felt. Jeffry thought the woman would live happily, but it turned out that the woman was filled with a deep sense of sadness. Jeffy could see all that from his face just now.

"Jeff, I told him to go back to the hotel. Calm your heart baby, you must be strong. Look Paul still needs you. Sooner or later you have to finish this." Valery said still hugging him.

"I miss Vale." said Jeffry, as his tears broke again.

Valery was shocked by Jeffry's confession. He took off Jeffry's embrace. "Why do you keep your pride if you miss your mother Jeff. Why don't you just hug her and say it all."

Jeffry shakes. "I still hate him, even though I miss him a lot. It was the first time I cried, I was so ashamed as a man. I'm impressed by Vale's crybaby. Sorry."

Valery hugged him back. "Cry in front of me whenever you want Jeff, you're not a whiny but you have a heart. At least my boyfriend has it."

Jeffry took a deep breath. "I take up too much of your time. You're gonna be late for the meeting. I'll take you back to the office." Jeffry said. He wiped the rest of his tears.

Jeffry shakes. "Don't argue with me, Vale, let's go." then he approached Paul. "Paul, wake up. Our mother is back" he said and took Valery out.

Jeffry drove Valery back to the company. "What time did I pick you up?" ask Jeffry.

Valery shakes. "I went home alone, I have business to do Jeff." he replied.

"What business and with whom?" ask Jeffrey again.

"I'm sorry I can't tell you, it's my personal problem, baby. Someday I'll tell you that." Valery replied.

"Not harm you, is it? I don't want you in Vale's danger. Call me if there's anything." said Jeffry.

Valery nodded. A few minutes later they arrived at the company. Jeffry kissed Valery's forehead. "Jeff's heart, concentrate on driving. Don't have such thoughts." Pinta Valery.

"Of course, honey, you're also heart-hearted. Let me know when your business is done." Jeffry replied and he left.

Sassy is still waiting in the parking lot of PT company. Sean's Gem. He believes the figure of Jeffry Sean will appear in front of him. But he's been waiting for 2 hours.

"Damn it, it's hard to know who you are Jeff." he muttered. "I have to be patient, today I have to find it" he told himself.

Half an hour later he saw a luxury car stop in front of the company entrance. Security greeted him and opened the car door. The faintest of the man was visible from a distance. Sassy narrowed his eyes, trying to see the man clearly. Intrigued by the figure, Sassy got out of his car. The man quickly entered his company.

"Jeffs...Jeffry Sean.." cried Sassy.

The man turned his head and their gazes met, sure enough Jeffry Sean was the owner of the company. But the man disappeared from his sight. Sassy immediately chased after him. But it was held by security.

"You're not allowed in, miss." said the security guard.

"Why? I'm your boss's friend." snapped Sassy.

"Unfortunately our boss doesn't recognize you. So in the future you can't come here or we'll report you to the police." threaten the security.

"Damn it, your boss probably doesn't recognize me. I was Sassy's first love in High School." she said confidently.

Security is laughing. "Based on a crazy woman, please go." he snapped.

Sassy is angry, he is insulted a second time. "I'll remember your face, if I marry your boss. The first thing I did was fire you." he snapped as he left the company.

On the other hand, Jeffry was very surprised by the presence of Sassy. The woman knows his whereabouts. As much as possible, he will avoid it.
